I wnet the very same night to deliver my trailer, and I went next day to make sure i did my part to deliver on time but the person sitted there told me to scan a code with my phone to check out but i couldn;t so i asked the customer representative in person if could help me, he said no, i had to do it online...i went from happy for my experience to total disaproval....i wonder if i come back again to deal with this? next time i will consider home depot first...i am sorry. i must say that the Sunday person was excelent, he took the time to make me a contract and guide me...he gets a 10...but the person who told me that the only way to check out was online gets a minus 10, people like that destroy business...Edgar A.

To pick up the U-Haul as a customer I had to scan a Q-R code to pick up my U-Haul truck. An I did it when I put the order in for the truck. An as for the workers there they just don't care if they have you waiting for a long timeGeorge H.

I reserved for Saturday 0800. I hired three guys to pay them per hour. When I arrive, your damn U-Haul shop told me that my reservation is pushed to another shop 5 miles away. When I get to the 2nd shop, they told me to reserve as a new customer and scheduled me for 10:30; after two hours. I finally get the truck with empty fuel. Your customer service told me to fill it out and will be reimbursed later. I put in $100.09 gas and used the truck. They tried to reimburse me a little bit but that is ok. I had a terrible experience in the first shop. They are not good at all. They are a bunch of street boys. Please train them.kassa K.
Manager and Sean were awesome. The truck I rented had no gas (almost empty). They said if I returned with a 1/4 tank, they would provide a credit. True to their word they gave a credit for the gas. Great customer service.Juan R.

This is not relevant to the Oxnard location, but in case this is my last chance to comment: I initially reserved a uhaul in Ventura for 9:30am. I had to change this over the phone when I showed up to find that not only was there no uhaul there, the location I selected wasn't even open that day. The online kiosk should be aware when locations are closed that day and do more to enforce the location of trucks for mobile pickup orders (I don't know how mobile pickup would've even been possible at this location in Ventura).Zachary P.

The Oxnard was great with helpful and professional staff who were very nice. But my reservation was for Thousand Oaks and that location had no idea about my reservation and did not have any equipment, so I had to drive two cities away to pick up my reservation, that was very annoying.Cole W.

My original rental was not available but they were able to get another van for me quickly and smoothly. I've rented vans x3 this past month, My only concern was the van was older and didn't have Bluetooth connection, D-rings in the front cargo area compared to the newer vans: maybe charge a lower fee for older models? The APP the customers have to use to check-out their own truck is just AWFUL! I mean AWEFUL! Who came up with this idea of having customers checking out their own rental? Where is the customer service? The app took me 1-hour and 20 minutes to get a rental truck because the app kept on saying my password was wrong or my username was wrong. The young man, at the counter, who was helping me with my phone ended up giving me the business smart phone to finish the check out. That was 1-hr and 20 minutes of my time that was just wasted at the office for no reason. This is just unacceptable!!!! I am a tech savvy young person and if it took me 1-hr and 20 minutes to rent a truck on an app, how long is it taking other people who are not tech savvy? This needs to stop and Uhaul needs to bring back customer service for the customers. Also, what if I was a disabled person or a 75-80 years old person without a smart phone or not tech savvy? Does that mean Uhaul is going to discriminate against me and not give me a truck rental because I don't have a smart phone and/or not tech savvy? This is a violation of the disability act and ageism? This is just asking for a lawsuit. I hope Uhaul understands where am coming from and I am not being a devil's advocate. My truck was supposed to be ready for pick up before the location opened up. The truck was not there and I had to wait an hour for the location to open while four guys on my clock were waiting. it wasn't an expensive inconvenience. The staff at the location was amazing but I downloaded the app on my phone and double check to make sure everything would be OK with the early check-in and it's not too user-friendly! 24/7 support was no help to me but to offer $50 and no truck. Need a better system to offer after our pick ups!Adam H.

I made my reservation based on information provided by a UHaul representative over the phone. The reservation was then moved (by UHaul) to another pickup location 15 miles from the where it was originally confirmed. When I picked up the trailer I found that I was not giving the full information regarding trailer dimensions. I called and spoke with another representative who told me my only Iowa's to return the trailer and make another reservation for a different trailer. I have now had to pay for two rentals, one of which I couldn't use and have been made to travel an additional 60 mile back and forth to rent a $30 trailer for 24 hours.
