I may file an official complaint about this, but it was really frustrating and annoying that my initial reservation was given away without any notice from UHaul. I reserved a cargo van all day, from 8:30am to 7:00pm. I had some urgent family issues to deal with in the morning so I didn't get to UHaul until 11:30am. The attendant told me I was "really late" so they had given the cargo van to someone else. No one tried calling me, no one emailed me. Even though I had *reserved* the van for the entire day, UHaul still felt it was totally fine giving the van away without any notice. I was really lucky they had a truck of any kind, but it still cost more than I was intending to pay and it was much harder to park in the city, where I was using it. I asked several times if there was anything written in the contract or otherwise about this window of time where UHaul reserved the right to give away a reservation, and the attendant didn't have an answer. He just reminded me I was really late to my all day reservation. So yeah the experience was terrible and I'd like a refund for the difference in cost.

Customer service was at the worse, not even talked about the rental and things that should have been applied or not. The girl just wanted to be left alone because I found her texting and she was in a rush to get back to it.

Truck was filthy in the back. Empty Kentucky fried Chicken bags along with bones all in the back. Totally gross. Customer service inside the guy was nice but a lot of degenerates in and out of the place. Not safe at all.

I used a different u haul a few months ago and it was a nightmare this ugaul location has it together nice staff clean well maintained truck and i worked forcUPS for 22 years so I know trucks and good customer service

There was a folded box left in the passenger section of the truck. I also did not receive the 6 blankets that I ordered. The person who helped me confirmed that they were part of my order/that I paid for them, so I assumed they were just in the truck. I didn't realize they were missing till i got to my destination, I didn't have time to call about the blankets because I was very busy moving, and at that point the blankets/dealing with this was a low priority. I would like to be refunded for the blankets, and for there to be a clear process for how to get the equipment that is ordered.

Just about every part of the uhaul experience was horrible. Truck was filthy with Less than half a tank of gas. Clerk did not have a mask on during pandemic times. Pick up location changed 5pm the night before. And most of the people I dealt with could not be bothered

I am upset. We made ace reservation for east providence, got there and you had no record of it. I had to drive across providence to broad street. It added 90 minutes to my day such that I got the truck back late and now you want to charge me for your error!! Do not charge me and I am st 401-649-0007. Thx peter ericksin

No one was at the desk, there were trucks everywhere, not clear where to go. But the young person (Black Male) who I did speak to was great, seemed to have a handle on everything.

All employees were either not wearing a mask or not wearing it correctly (below the nose). The store was busy and it was unbelievable how fucking careless and irresponsible they were. Do BETTER uhaul!

The truck had 155k miles on it. It rained that day and the truck leaked onto my content in the back of the truck. The windshield wipers did not work well and sipped across the windshield, both ineffective and very annoying noise. The cab itself had some kind of seal problems and was extremely loud inside while driving making and loud reverberation which we had to yell over. It was a bad experience and the worst U-Haul I've used.

There was human fecal matter all over the parking lot, empty cleaning supplies ,and dirty rags all over the ground outside. Be open a little later to do the check in when ppl are returning trucks. I was not comfortable standing in a not well lit area having to take all of these pics of the U-Haul.

There was no place to park. We had to drive around the block to find a place t park the car. The trucks on the lot were blocking the exits and entrance area. The store itself was not clean and staff as well as customers were walking in close contact with others with and without masks . We spent $20 on gas and it was more than the level was in the track. They could have called it even for what they say was overage for the miles, $6 and some change. Next I need a truck I will use Penske , Budget or friends with pick ups.

The truck was clean but it was the worst truck that I ever rented. The truck was falling apart! The whole handle area to close the door was falling apart (on both doors) which made it difficult to close the door once inside the truck. As I was driving it on the highway it sounded like it was going to completely fall apart. Worse Uhaul experience ever!!!

Parking lot was so crammed you couldn't even pull into the lot. Not a single associate had a mask on & They were both rude. It's been 3 days and I still haven't been given my final total. 100% not returning to this location.

The issue was more with getting help After hours. I submitted a request for road side assistance through the app and waited two hours for and updates. The only reason I got answers is because I sat on hold on the telephone for the roadside assistance number. Then, they informed us that they wouldn't help with our problem and we had to figure it out and pay out of pocket. So I had to call around at almost midnight and pay extra fees for something uhaul should have been responsible for. Awful overall service by corporate.

I was contacted two days after returning the vehicle from a Uhaul employee asking when I would be returning it. Apparently this location did not do its job in making sure my vehicle was returned properly despite me handing the keys directly to an employee and me asking “is that all?”.

Make sure everything is in good working order before giving to customer! The truck we got the wipers did not function. The motor or something was not working and it poured on and off all day while driving from Rhode Island to Upstate NY. It could have ended badly had your driver not been a educated one!
