SALLY Monly used rental truck for 1.5 hours , sales rep didn’t turn in equipment so 24hours later called me panicking about the truck whole time it was there and the customer service rep didn’t complete check in like he said he did. drove a total of 5 miles and was overcharged as well. Pathetic

ARIESE CThe Internet scheduling process is very frustrating I wish you guys would change it so it doesn't ask 1 million questions before you can finally click submit It tends to freeze up and you can't finish the reservation online The local branch there in Bakersfield is always easy to deal wit. Everything is always great on that end my only complaint is the Internet side of things

GARY FFirst time coming to this U-Haul spot, and the guy who attended me was very respectful, very professional and had excellent knowledge of his job. I can’t remember his name, but you guys should put the name of the person who attended you and serviced you on the receipt… I knew what size of U-Haul I needed the total time of waiting and getting the U-Haul truck was 10 minutes to me. That’s awesome thank you.
MARTHA RThe salesman never asked me how many miles I expected to put on the truck. When I returned, I was charged an extra fee for having gone over the miles I supposedly told the salesman I would be using...Not a good look.

CHRISTANA WThe general manager was pissed because I didn’t pull into the right location said location having one truck and two trailers in it when I arrived. He then charged me got gas when I returned the vehicle with exactly same amount I left with. This even corroborated with U-Haul records. Never coming back U-Haul.

THANE CMost of the experience was good. The checkout was awful. I almost had to walk away without the truck. My phone couldn't connect with the website which made it impossible to complete my check out. There should be an alternate way to check out equipment that doesn't involve my cell phone. I had to call my son to come from the next town over to come and do the check out.

ELOUISE HNext time an older person goes to pick up a truck, let them know to bring their cell phone. I have be using U Haul for over 50 years. I have never been told I could not pick up a truck without my phone. I was dropped off at this location on Union Ave, and was told by General Manager, Jose, that I needed my phone to get the truck. I was not told that when I was at the location putting a truck on hold. I was dropped off at 7:00 a.m. The store was supposed to open at 7:00 a.m. I was waiting there with another couple. The store opened late, my ride left, and then I was told I could not rent the truck without my cell phone. Not all elderly people have cell phones. I had my drivers license with me, my credit card, but was told I could not have a truck. I has to borrow a phone and try get get a ride back home to get my cell phone. Then the general manager started making smart comments to other persons saying, "thank you for bringing you cell phone" in my presence. That was mocking a customer and very disrespectful. I will not longer use U Haul, I have two more moves coming up this month, and I will use another company, and tell all my friends to do the same. Penske, Enterprise, maybe I will get treated better as a loyal customer.

ROJELIO GAfter waiting in line to pick up the Cargo Van I had reserved, I was told I needed to have the cell phone that I made the reservation with to receive a text and make a copy of my license. I was not informed of this when I made the reservation, and my wife had to make a second trip down to the location to bring me my phone, then I had to wait in line again to complete the rental. The requirement of having the phone should be made clear to the customer.

STARLA WLet the customer know when it’s $1 PER MILE FEE. Didn’t expect that fee and it killed us. We have NEVER paid such a steep mileage fee. Wtf.
