Start with employees that don't try to rip you off by not typing in your deposit. Once you get to your drop off destination they have no record of cash deposit so you have to travel all the way back to pick up location if possible to get your deposit back, or maybe that's Jose Olmedo 's game .

The whole experience from my first call to the center in Arizona, to the 3 or 4 other numbers I had to call in order to get the reservation and information to make the trip successful was disconcerting. It was apparent that no information is shared between departments or help in knowing what is included to make this move safe. The truck was not equipped with places to tie down cargo within the truck so it didn't get tossed around. The Union Avenue store was grossly understaffed and the wait-in-line was abhorrent. The employees were polite but UNhelpful. I am so disappointed.

Your tech attached my vehicle to a hitch and didn't attach the straps to the tires; he only wrapped chains around the frame. The day I moved, it rained very heavily from Bakersfield to Sacramento. Needless to say, my vehicle and the trailer sustained significant damage from all the bouncing around. I am working with U-Hauls insurance to have my vehicle repaired. Despite all this, the U-Haul staff has been very helpful in helping me resolve the damage my vehicle received.

The truck I reserved was not the truck we received. I asked for a 15' truck that came with a ramp and I got a 10' truck. Very upset at this!

The truck must not have been inspected, there was so much debris in the undercarrage of the truck, it caught on fire while driving. I was only refunded $56, out of the $180.00, plus $200 for the employee I had to pay for 8hrs. Never had such a horrible experience...The truck could've blown up and people couldve died.

I was supposed to get a dolly. I was charged for it. the next morning, I noticed I did not have it, assuming it was in the back of the truck. I called and they said they took off the charge and made note I did not have the dolly. when I went to drop off truck, I was told that dolly was not taken off.

Check-in was efficient. Cab was dirty. Windows inside were filthy. Cargo area was not swept. The truck ran very well and was comfortable with nice amenities.

Ask customers if they need any furniture quilts or wrapping paper for items to be hauled or moved. We were not asked or reminded of these things.

Tell the employees who are checking the truck upon return to work a little faster. When we returned ours, it took at least 15 minutes to go over everything on the truck. But over all very friendly so thank you

Only thing I did not like is that the price ! They stated that local will be 29.00 and 10.00 for dolly no one explains to me that they will be charging me $.79 per mile, little disappointed since I am in a budget.

Upon calling to inquire about a truck we specifically said we'd need it to be able to move household items but most of importance, a refrigerator. They said for $10 we'd be supplied with the proper equipment to move it safely. Upon picking up the truck we again specifically mentioned we'd be moving a refrigerator and we were assured that the items needed to move said fridge was in the truck....for an extra $10. Great! Before we left, no one checked the back to see if said items were included to move this refrigerator. So coming home and opening back......a small dolly and whatever was in the bag on top of the dolly. I thought to move a fridge you needed a good sized dolly and some straps! Am I wrong?! Had to improvise and managed with household utility items to secure this fridge along with extra people help......VERY disappointed that no one cared to make sure we had the proper equipment before leaving but was so ready to charge the extra $$.. Upon returning the truck, Sam? Was very nice, courteous, and professional. He deducted the extra $10 we were charged. Next time I won't depend on am employee to make sure their truck is supplied with items I may need. Live and learn.....
