My whole life I've either owned or knew someone with a truck if I've needed one. A year 1/2 ago my father passed away and my mom had to sell his truck. UHAUL has been so good to me over this time. I've had to rent a cargo van multiple times to move my college students back and forth from Eugene. Thank you so much

The first person who helped me when I picked the truck up was rude and not helpful at all, would not help me after asking a couple different times. Another employee stepped in and was super helpful and I got lucky when I returned the truck the helpful employee checked me out and even apologized for the experience that I had when picking up truck. There should be more options for accessibility, I was struggling with the app standing in the rain noticing several unmarked damages to the truck that was not identified. I went back into the building three different times to ask for help, finally the third time the nice employee assisted me and got me out of there as quickly as possible. I've rented from U-Haul several times, first time from this location and do not plan on going back.

Uhaul equipment was clean and I received excellent support from the representative. The truck I received had broken windscreen wipers - just put together to look good. The right wiper fell apart in the first 5 minutes operation in the rain, the left one broke (the viper blade separated) in the third day of week long trip. The right windscreen wiper washer did not work at all. I contacted Uhaul for help with the wipers in Cheyenne, WY - they refused to help and terminated the call. I had to buy replacement wipers and have them installed loosing time and money along the way.

Kassandra, who I believe is the manager, was AMAZING. There is not a place to mentioned positive experiences (what a shame that you just want the negative...). Kassandra was friendly, prompt, handled an issue with the vehicle professionally. I hope that Uhaul values her as an employee as she is an asset to Uhaul and a wonderful representative of the Uhaul brand.

You all could improve on better customer service. I was double charged for something and no one was really helpful or using their customer service experiences to assist and make the move easy. They made it so hard and difficult and then to find out I was double charged when I had asked and informed the Agent that my order was or should have been a package deal. There was extra taxes that were placed on the order because I had to drive 45mins out of my way just to pick up the truck. The Agent also informed me I had to return the tow-dolly to a different location, which was not discussed during the reservation. I felt like I was being targeted for her office to make more money. That is not right. I wish I could speak to her to let her know she needs to find another job that does not pertain to good paying customers. Please give me a call, as there is too much to write. Very unorganized. Didn't get notified until the day of pick up once at confirmed location, that I had to drive an extra 45 miles out of my way to go to another location, in undesirable part of another unsafe city!!

The guy and gal assisting me were great. The first assistant who got me set up was awesome at getting me in and out ASAP. Very friendly. When I arrived back, I was returning the trailer at peak time. A friendly gal came out and unhooked the trailer for me. Very happy.

I rented 2 packs of 6 blankets but only opened one package. I was not allowed a credit for the used pack. I was not informed that there would not be a refund. Had I known, I would have only rented one pack and used my padding.

Although the website stated this location was open until 7:00 pm when we arrived around 4:30 the employee was on a dinner break. We were able to leave the truck using the online instructions, but it was cold, windy, and rainy so less than pleasant taking the required photographs, etc. We had specifically chosen to arrive when the business was open so it was a little disappointing.

The vehicle reeked of cigarette smoke (and aerosol air freshener-which did not do an adequate job of covering the smell). I had to drive with windows down in the cold and despite that had a headache that got so bad I was vomiting with only two hours of being in it. Will never drive off a uhaul lot in a vehicle that smells that bad again.

I think it is way too expensive. We just needed to move some furniture and unfortunately the locations we not too close. We used it for seven hours and it cost us around $350. I think that is so much. Plus the cost of gas which puts it at $400. Next time I have to rent a truck it most likely will not be with Uhaul. Was too expensive

Gas gauge was broken, truck was given to me on “E”, I was given a $25 dollar discount but ended up putting $28 in the truck to get the gauge to read 1/4 tank. Person working the front desk and was rude and unhelpful even when I told her I thought the gauge was broken. Very unsatisfied, won't rent from here again.

We were told that it was open until 8 pm. At 6:55, the clerk had closed down and was leaving. He did not help with where to park (it was dark) or how to do uhaul/share.There was an additional charge the next day and no one could explain it. Alexander was rude and condescending on the phone and once transferred it still could not be explained. They emailed 6 different receipts/copy of contracts which still did not explain it. Very poor service at this location.

Per mile rate charges should the same 7 days per week truck rentals. Charging higher per mile rates on weekend truck rentals is a form of gouging working people who are limited to moving on weekends.

Twice in the last two months I've been in uhauls, and the website has always had errors when trying to do a self return after hours. The first time I was with a friend and the website wouldn't even let her start the process. This time, I went through the process, took the necessary photos of the dash and the car, and once I was at the last page and clicked submit, it refreshed to the starting page and I had to do it all over again. My only thought is maybe my last image wasn't done uploading, but that shouldn't cause the entire process to reset with any warning.

The mobile app check in process sucks. Having to do live verification isn't reasonable to expect. I would have had to notify people ahead of time to accept a call they would think is spam. I will not use it again or rent from U-Haul again.

The staff was great very courteous and helpful. Had me in a U-Haul rental and on my way in just minutes. I was disappointed that when bringing it back to the store, I was trying to fill the tank and the gas tank had been tampered with and the line was cut and gas poured out of it on the ground at the gas station. I know that it was not fault of the employees at the store but it would be beneficial to the customers and the employees to put up a fence around the trucks left there overnight. Overall the transaction between myself and U-Haul stores were good and they mad it right for me about the rental I rented, I would go back to that store and also recommend them to friends and family. Kudos to the staff!!

Truck was listed as being full of fuel. Tank was at 3/4 full. The agent at the Lombard location did correct our rental agreement to show that amount. However when we went to fill the fuel tank before returning Gasoline poured out from under the truck. At the return location in Hazel Dell the team there looked under the truck and saw that the fuel line was cut. So when we picked up the truck it had not had a complete inspection, cleaning & refueling or this problem would have been noted. We were a little upset that we'd been driving a truck around with a cut gas line. The location at Lombard is very near a homeless encampment so they may want to do more complete checks of all their vehicals before sending them out on the road.

Couple of things, the mobile pickup is ok except I had to go into the facility to get the keys. Normally this would be fine, but in this case all employees were wearing their masks with their nose out which does nothing to prevent the spread of Corona virus. Additionally the truck needed an oil change and as such I couldn't confirm the mileage. Additionally upon return the app couldn't find my location so I had to trust that it would be checked in correctly.

Did not have the blankets we reserved and the truck did not have a full tank of gas. I would expect to start off with a full tank of gas. If this is not the norm and you rent trucks with a 1/4 tank on a regular basis, you should change your process.

1) When using the pickup app, you should allow customers to complete any approval steps before pick up. It took 30 mins to be approved. 2)If check in via app takes longer, the staff at check in should offer to help make check in easier by taking over. 3) Whats the point of the app pick up when you have to wait for the guy at the front desk to give it to you anyway

The mineral king store took my debit card and stated it was only for incidentals and the Oregon store would charge my card. This was not the case. My debit card that I originally used at the mineral king was charged so more clarification and understanding would have been nice

I was charged to much money the receipt i was handed the day I picked up the truck Is a total different from the receipt that was mailed to me after turning in the truck the next day on time I was told i would get a call from a manager within 48 hrs it past 48 hrs

The team working on this day were really unhelpful - I tried to self-check in but the app was glitching. I was also given incorrect information on how to properly add an additional driver. Thank god I spoke with the Tacoma location before drop off. They were much more helpful.

I payed nearly $100 to use a 10ft truck to move things from north portland to beaverton, including the expensive insurance, and the truck provided was not satisfactory at all. The passenger side mirror was held on by TAPE, and was constantly moving as we drove. I had to have my passenger roll down the window to let me know if it was safe to change lanes. I drive a box truck for a living and can tell you that side mirrors are the most important thing when driving a vehicle that you can't use a rear view mirror. It is absolutely unconscionable that uhaul would allow this truck to go out to a customer. If uhaul is not careful they could have a lawsuit coming their way for this type of negligence. The safety of your customers, who are driving vehicles that they are not accustomed to, should be an utmost priority and this priority was not displayed when I rented this truck earlier this week. If this truck is not fixed immediately, before anyone else uses it, and I am not reimbursed, I will never use uhaul again, and will opt for a different truck rental service if need be. Again, i cannot believe that this truck was given the ok to go out to customers. Uhaul of st John's needs to get its act together, because previously, i have not had any issues while renting with uhaul, but this time is unforgivable unless corrected.

The only thing I would say about the uhaul experience is went trying to rent a vehicle it was such a long wait before talking to someone on the phone. But I see everyone use the website in order to deal with the company. But when your internet doesn't work it's hard to do so.

After a verbal reschedule, my reservation was put under my driver's name and it led to about half an hour of extra confusion upon pickup. The person who rescheduled me also set my pickup time for 30 minutes after the reservation time we agreed upon. None of the employees were wearing masks properly, either under their noses or on their chins, never covering their nose and mouth at any given time and frequently adjusting and removing them to talk or eat at the desk.

This location took a reservation for me but when I arrived they didn't have me down. Plenty of trucks and no stress but it could have been a problem.

When i checked in to pick up the vehicle everything went smoothly. Upon return there was another customer having trouble with a rental. I needed to return mine and waited patiently. The employee went outside to help another customer that was also waiting. I wish that the manager would have came out to help assist his employee and keep wait times down.

The uhaul we picked up had significant grease in the back by the grandmas attic which was not cleaned out prior to us picking it up. It wasn't visible but if they had physically walked to the back of the truck they would have started to slide around it was that bad. We had movers scheduled and it took over 45mins for us to obtain the truck.
