I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The owner came across as unapproachable and visibly upset, and their customer service skills were lacking. Additionally, the staff member who helped me was listening to music on his headphones while working. He ended up giving me the wrong key on two separate occasions. I have never seen a business operate like this.
Henok Dthe staff was great even when the line was long, they continued to smile with good customer service. We put the lock on backward and they helped us unlock the truck to get our items out.

Johanna BFirst rental reeked like cigarette smoke and had the check engine light on. Person at the front desk was not friendly and told us it was fine. We asked to switch and the next truck had low tire pressure and one of the headlights out. Should be more transparent that the truck advertised as a $20 rental ended up being over $100 with all the additional fees.
Autumn GSelf mobile check-in was a bit laggy. I ended up asking someone for help, I don’t know what went wrong, but everything else was perfect and easy.

Keith KEnded up returning the truck a day early. Went into autopilot mode with little communication and i wasnt able to tell him we were early until he couldnt find something in the system. The individual checking us back in acted like we were pals on the street. No customer service skills what so ever. It would also be nice if U-haul offered a small refund of some sort for early return.

Greg FThe truck was filthy inside the cab and inside the back. All they seem to do when they check in the vehicle is to check the mileage, check for damage, check the fuel level, and that's it. Maybe if the staff spent a few minutes cleaning the inside of the cab, it wouldn't smell like the armpit of a drunken fetid nursing home resident who hadn't been bathed in a year. I had to clean and sweep out the back of the truck before I used it because it was equally dirty. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. They were the best part of my rental experience. The thing I didn't like about checkout however, was not knowing how much my total final bill would be after returning the vehicle during regular business hours. I had to wait to receive an email with the final bill. That should all be done and calculated at drop off.

DEBORAH DBesides the equipment being available and in good working order, the next important thing to me is the staff during pickup and dropoff. They were great...courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, effecient and very helpful. Thank you!
Tony AThe man working on the morning of 3/26 was horribly rude qnd unprofessional. He was more focused on playing with his personal cell phone and talking over his personal headset more than assisting customers. The girl working in the morning of 3/25 was wonderful and helpful

BRENT WI filled the tank up completely full, more than the amount of fuel I used, and was charged $9.50 for 2 gallons of fuel with a false reading saying it was only 7/8 full when I brought it in.

Traci BThis U-Haul was by far the most unprofessional and unhelpful place I've ever been. My box wasn't ready on time when it was supposed to be, the staff was very unprofessional and rude. They were smoking and had a dog running around and in and out the U-Haul vehicles and they were very careless with getting the box and putting the box away. When I addressed my concerns the male employee became hostile and aggressive. It made me feel very uncomfortable and i will never be using U-Haul services again!

TERRANCE CI dropped off the truck early. I was told I would get my receipt within 15-20 minutes via email. The next morning the app indicated I hadn’t dropped off the truck. However, they did send me a receipt for $20 in gas, even though I left it exactly where it was when I picked it up.
Robert GWe planned on renting a large dolly but they didn't have any in house. The workers, who were friendly and very helpful, made up for it by servicing us in other ways. We were very happy with our experience and plan to use U-Haul next time. We appreciate being able to rent a truck allowing us to drive. Thank you for a great experience.
Julie MThe young lady who checked me out was very professional and kind . When I went to return the cargo van a man with dreads and a blue sweat suite approached me stating give me the keys because your not suppose to park there. I wasn’t given any instruction on where to park the cargo van once returned . How am I aupppse to know who this random man is coming up to me demanding keys and he kind of scuffed after I wouldn’t give him the keys . His behavior was ridiculous and unprofessional
SHEILA WThere is so much equipment at this location that customers who need to leave their cars there when they rent a truck, may have difficulty finding parking. Although, the employee at the rental counter did a good job of directing me where to park my car.

NOAH YMy husband said the lot is maybe too small and a bit crowded making it tougher to get in and out of with ease. Also, we rented the U-Haul for just a few hours 2/7/2026 (picked up and dropped off at the same location just a few hours later), but were still getting emails/text messages as if we hadnt returned the trailer and to do that by 2/10/2026. I had to call a few times to try to get through to someone that we didn't have the trailer anymore, and had returned it within a few hours on the same day we picked it up. We finally got someone to answer and realize they hadn't ever checked the trailer back in when we took it back. Kinda frustrating.
GARY MThe staffing at this location is poor. Nice enough, but not very quick or at all professional in appearance or demeanor. The truck was high mileage (120,000+) and didn't have basic things in working order. For example, the windshield washer blade on the drivers side was useless and didn't cover the attachment leading to metal scraps on the windshield.
JASON LWent to return the trailer at 7:10am on a Monday morning, only to discover the doors locked but a clear sign stating the business opened at 7:00am. When leaving the property, the employee flagged me down to say he was just opening. It was 7:20am. Very unprofessional.
JUSTIN HThis location is a hot mess. There was only one person in line in front of me and my wait was 45 minutes to pick up a 5 x 8 trailer. The employee seemed high or lazy or both. He flirted with everyone in line including me, which is probably why it took so long. He was a mess. I was late to pick my friends up from the airport because it took so long. Absolutely insane and unprofessional. The trailer was dirty and had trash in the back when I picked it up.

TEQUILA Linform the customer of changes. i had ordered 6 blankets and did not receive them. I was not informed that none were available and didn't remember them until I had left. Luckily, I was not charged but I should have been told they weren't available.

DENISE JCustomer service is outrageous it was so bad I laughed because I thought it was a joke! Ice frozen on the window had to sit in a cold uhaul until it defrost. Paid for a dolly and it wasn’t available and I had made reservations and did mobile pickup. On return 2 women was having an personal conversation I walked in one got up and left I tried to complain to the employee there how my experience was she was not concern or didn’t engage to care I asked for the manager I was told she was busy with someone and I guess give me a call!, so i thought to myself that I just seen yall having a personal conversation and how would you know she is helping anyone in the back I was the only customer in the store . I will admit I got frustrated and irritated felt ignored so I did get rude and said some things Ive shouldn’t said so I do I apologize but I don’t apologize for how I experience things plus Minnesota is cold unfortunately I just wanted my dolly and window clean

CALLYN SI drove the rental for 18 miles, refilled the tank with 5 gallons of fuel, but the location still charged me a fuel surcharge and for 8 gallons of fuel. The person working seemed either new or completely incompetent and had no idea what he was doing. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone in the future.
Zachary MI explained to her (employee) that I had trouble downloading the pictures and i brought it back the same way I pick it up. Even put more gas ⛽️, cuz the fuel in the rental was not full. And the estimate on the mile in my opinion was wrong and was charged $66.00 dollars on my card.
jesus vThe service was fine, the fact that I had to walk three blocks to park on the side street somewhere was a little ridiculous. There should be some sort of customer parking.

KENNETH HI was given a snow covered truck with no brush to clear the snow off. When I went inside to ask for a brush I was told to wait because the rep had to get it out of their personal car.
MICHAEL JArrived at 9 for pick up and the location was closed. No one showed up until 9:40. Given a truck with a broken latch so the back door gate couldn’t be secured. Given a different trick that had a lock on the door that was frozen and couldn’t be opened. Had to find someone to address this. He sprayed the lock and it finally opened and he left. Then the latch for the back gate/door was frozen and couldn’t be opened. Had to find someone again to get it opened. Finally left 1:45 hours after I was supposed to pick up the truck.
Dennis COur U-Haul U-POD experience was perfect until it arrived at the U-Haul St Paul location. After that it was a disaster. Your 200 character limit makes is impossible to list the screw-ups. NEVER AGAIN!
