It’s too expensive. The fees add up quickly making it far more expensive than the $19 on the side of the truck. Basic liability insurance should be included in the price.

When I dropped it off, there are signs out back to wait for someone to assist you. After a few minutes no one came out so I walked inside. The guy behind the counter wasn't helping anyone and knew I was there... not sure why he didn't come out or have someone else come out.

I reserved online and arrived at the pickup location 10 minutes before closing time. The gentleman at this uhaul location was completely professional, accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, quick and efficient. He helped me get on my way with my rental truck in no time. 10/10 recommend.

The young man that assisted me handled what seemed to be an unusually busy period with ease and appropriate attention to each customer. My only minor complaint was the location not having an available van despite 1 being outside. It seems as if Amazon is using a vast majority of the company’s cans as I saw what seemed like a fleet of them mixed in with Amazon delivery vans.

Vehicle for myself and customer before me was rented with only 1/4 tank of gas requiring me to stop right away for gas eating into my rental time. Also, how am I suppose to guess how much fuel to put in to use? They tailor it to get free gas from customers trying to avoid Uhauls gas fees at the same time decreasing the customers rental time by having to stop for fuel right away.

I had a reservation for the 29th. When I went to pick up my equipment the app was not displaying my reservation. I called and was transferred to the 24hr pickup line for verification. I was put on hold way too long. All that in the rain. Ended up having to redo my reservation for the next day.

Let customers know about their contracts don’t just tell them store closing hours and make that their contract without explaining anything. It’s not fair to be charged fee for another day when you have no use for the vehicle.

When i picked up my uhaul there were multiple homeless people in the back of the 17foot truck. apparently the back of the truck had not been locked by the uhaul staff there. The homeless people in the truck were aggressive and we had to call the police to get them to leave the uhaul. i honestly feel fortunate that neither myself or my wife were harmed on uhaul property. all of this could have been alleviated if the uhaul staff would have properly locked the back of the truck.

The gentleman who checked us back in and helped us with the auto transport - who also noticed how the Denver employee incorrectly put the car on the transport, did everything he could to help minimize the damage. He was wonderful.

As we were doing our walk around before for pick up, there was the smell of piss all around the truck! Also, as we checked the cargo area the door was already ajar, that's when we noticed a homeless man sleeping in the blankets. After the man left, I climbed up into the cargo area and within the blankets were a bag of pills that was in the truck. We had to find one of the workers to notify them of the situation. They seemed to be working on personal vehicles than dealing with customers. He did a quick clean up of the cargo area after I pulled it into the return area...not very through though. Overall experience for a business seemed unacceptable.

I was guaranteed a cargo van but it was not available. I was given a 10' truck at the same mileage rate. I ordered a van for clearance reasons knowing a truck would be too tall to get close to the location I'm moving from. I was given the option of driving across town to another location for a van. Really? This van should have been delivered to this location because it was guaranteed for my rental. I was pretty upset, still am.The move took longer than anticipated because of the extra distance we had to cover since we couldn't park the truck as close as we had planned. When I voiced this concern I didn't get much in return. Oh, the truck would normally be 79 cents a mile but they were letting me have the van rate of 69 cents. My total mileage was 11 miles. How did that help me? What about the extra time/effort it took me to load? What I estimated taking 3 hours took 5 1/2 hours. In retrospect, I should have walked away and rented elsewhere, or I should have requested a deep discount to account for my added time. It will take a lot of persuading on U-Haul's part to get my business back the next time I need to rent a van/truck. Additionally the little homeless camp next to the parking lot is a bit unnerving when returning equipment after dark, which I wouldn't recommend (but I had no choice since the move TOOK LONGER THAN PLANNED). The location doesn't feel very safe, more lights would help.
