Make sure you put the tow on dolly correctly. The chains weren't hooked up and it got steeped in backwards. Had to pull over multiple times and it was very scary for a 17 hour drive.

I've rented from other vendors, but this has been my main source for years. Yesterday, for the first time, they let me down - the pickup I reserved was not available. But: they really made my day! Jordan was the employee behind the desk, and he calmly let me know where things stood: the person who had the truck claimed he was unable to bring it back in time. I had four other people waiting on me; I had a narrow window of time to complete my work with the truck. When I told Jordan that I knew of a $50 guarantee, he immediately went to talk to his supervisor, Rand. Once the truck was available, about 45 minutes late, Rand came in, typed up my guarantee reservation refund, and helped me complete the checkout. There was no arguing, no hostility, no 'it wasn't our fault': I was completely impressed. My thanks to Jordan and to Rand for changing a problem into a solution. Plus: the equipment ran perfectly. I will definitely keep coming back to this store, and will recommend it to everyone. Thank you, U-Haul, for running your company well.

You guys have charged me for a truck I paid for a while ago three different times recently. You also used a card that is t mine it's my fathers and I've only used it once. The order number is 33988183. I have contacted you guys. This needs to get fixed. I have my bank statement with proof. You charged me 152 on 10/30/2020 and 11/10/2020 and yesterday before I rented a truck you had my dad call because they said we owed a balance and he paid it yesterday as well. That's three times total. That's crazy. Now this morning you are trying to charge my card again. This needs to be resolved. I use you all all the time. I own a moving business. Clean the equipment. The trailer I rented was filthy inside and out. It had dirt and mud inside it, almost as if it had been used to transport farm animals or a load of dirt. It was coated in dirt outside as well.

Wedgewood location saved the day after making my reservation at North First location and the did not leave the keys. I had to drive to Wedgewood to get a smaller cargo van and not the 10 footer I reserved making me late for my pickup and costing me gas and I had to make two trips to get my pickup because the cargo van was smaller. I was promised a $50 credit but I haven't seen that yet in fact I have also still been billed by North First location

Accurate fuel gauge reading. It was 3/4 tank not full when I left. Parking vehicle is not great for someone that is doing an in town move.

The van tire pressure light came on right I left the lot. I returned & couldn't enter the lot because of trucks blocking the entrance. Entered through the exit. A man reluctantly checked tire pressure & told me to ignore the light.

There's a female here that is extremely rude, customer service definitely isn't her calling. However the gentleman that helped was shocked to hear of the pickup experience. (To recapp, the male who helped us at pick up was more concerned with his phone call. So I had to drive around to various auto zones and uhaul to get lights connected. It turns out, the uhaul wiring was bad. Since the trailer was already loaded and I was on a tight schedule, I couldn't do anything but keep going. I turned in the trailer earlier than scheduled and was told we'd just get a receipt via email however no adjustments were made. I seriously doubt I'll use uhaul again if we don't receive some type of credit/refund for this awful experience.

we returned the truck with the exact same amount of gas. The truck gets 14 miles to the gallon and we drove it 11 miles. At the most, we should have only been charged for one gallon instead of two gallons. We were hastily given the truck that someone else just returned. The truck was checked in by a different person who checked it out. I'm assuming, the gas gage was not read before we took off in the truck and we were charged for the gas we used as well as the people before. The math doesn't work out. Would never use this location again. I would drive out of my way to go to another location.

Gentleman who checked me in and made a new appointment for me was Excellent. Wish I had taken his name. Dropped off on 11/2. He deserves a lot of praise. They were VERY busy and he was extremely helpful and nice.

They sent me to autozone to get a hitch pin and autozone didn't have it I had to drive all over town to find one FOR them only to return to see it LITERALLY ON THE SHELF.

I scheduled another location for pick up. When I arrived to pick up my truck, the office was closed. After using the 24/7 feature I was told the truck Would be delivered to my home. After waiting for customer service for 30 minutes on the phone. The agent said it was a cliche in the system and I needed to pick up my truck at alternative location. Wasted 2 hours paid movers. Very upset.

Only issue was multuple 15 minute wait times to speak with customer service to extend rental. Also, the U-haul app is absolutely horrible and doesn't work.

My pickup location was change without informing me. Which was far from my home. It was really inconvenient for me. Moreover, the self checkin option took soo long.. My 45mins was wasted. There was no one at the counter for 15mins. Eventually, I was an hour late from my pickup time. Really a bad experience

Nobody was at the counter when I arrived to bring the truck back. I could hear them talking in the back. I stood at the counter for about 15 minutes before I went and knocked on there door. Then someone says she scared me. So that lets me know they knew I was out there and didn't come.

The staff was very friendly. However, returning the truck at night was a pretty scary experience. Being a woman in a dark parking lot in the back having to take pictures, focused on my phone not being able to pay attention to my surroundings wasn't incredibly ideal. Maybe allow in store returns at night?

My pickup was scheduled for 11 am. We arrived at 11:22 and the van was not ready. We had to wait 20 minutes for it to be cleaned. I had reserved an appliance dolly for $10, which was not provided, so I used the dolly in the van (which is $7) and was charged for both. The gas gauge in the van was slow, so we ended up putting more gas in the van than necessary.

This location was good, but the overall experience was not good. I booked online requesting remote access. When I arrived to the location I booked and attempted my on line pick up but was directed to the counter staff. I was told the reservation was moved to another location. When I arrived to the 2nd location, I was unable to use remote access so had to engage the counter staff. They did not have the truck I'd requested, so they referred me to the 8th street address (where I again had to engage the counter staff). A waste of 90 minutes, and 3 staff engagements that I intended to avoid due to COVID. Why wasn't I proactively informed of my reservation change? Why was I referred to a location that didn't have the requested equipment available? Why offer remote access if you can't make it available?

Very old trucks. Bid noise. No proper instructions on how to open the truck back door. Old lock difficult to unlock without proper instruction. While unlocking we have to pull down the lock hardly.

Not being a Nashville native, I can't say whether or not this particular day was extremely busy, or normal. There were several customers such as myself picking up trucks and trailers. The staff was very knowledgeable and worked through each customer quickly and professionally.

In Broomfield I was told to “call the TN location when you get there and let them know you're dropping off”. Called the number for that location. It was a ‘general U-Haul CS number'. Was on hold for 17 minutes listening to annoying U-Haul propaganda. Then it rang through and I was hung up on. Upon arriving the sign said ‘Stop, stay here, stay in your vehicle and wait ‘. Sitting in a parking lot, staring into the abyss, hoping that “eventually some one ‘may' notice im here so that I can move on with my busy day and not be here for hours” is a stressful and frustrating thing for a customer.

Overcharged. I returned the unit at 2:30pm and staff was busy watching their mobile phones and very uninterested in helping my return. I was told they would forward final receipt to email. Final receipt showed up at 6:53pm and I was charged for 2 days. Check your cameras if you need proof when I showed up. I'm disputing the total charge on my AMEX. Give me a break. Terrible. Never renting here again.

The food stains, crumbs, dirt stains, etc. were shocking. I called customer service to report all of these problems. The app would not allow me to upload photos to dispute the scratches, paint impacts, & sent a on the exterior. Customer service said there were no other vehicles available at that location so I had to take the dirty truck with a low tire 34, 33, 32, ...21psi. During dropoff, I reported that the vehicle needs to be cleaned. Uhaul's app decided to charge me for the dirty vehicle that was clearly Uhaul's fault. I stated that I would be filing a dispute with Discover and reviewing TCA & USC to identify the appropriate regulatory agency and file a regulatory complaint. Thanks, Will Ward willward@mit.edu

Moving is so stressful and challenging but From beginning to end every person we worked with was amazing! So nice to have customer service personnel who treat customers like they matter! Great Job U-Haul!

The trucks need to be cleaned. The young man behind the counter wasn't nice or helpful. He just stared at me and barely said two words. He told me he didn't have a truck for me despite the online reservation. I had to point out that they had several trucks sitting outside before he changed my reservation and gave me one.

When we got there we still had to call road side assistance to fix the tow dolly that did damage to our car. Long wait but they helped us with trading out for a car hauler since the tow dolly was defective. Did damage to our car. Very concerned people.

I think all vehicles should be cleaned on the inside of the cab with proper disinfectant always but especially during these times with Covid-19. I spent an hour cleaning and disinfecting the inside of the vehicle and it was still very dirty but I knew it was at least germ free.

I dropped my trailer off on Sunday when we were done but it was not checked in by the employee who helped me. I noticed something was awry when I did not have a receipt in my email inbox the next day. I called and was on hold for 20 minutes before I was able to talk to a live person. This person told me I could check my rental status online but I told them that I believe that the employee did not sufficiently check in the trailer I dropped off. She did not seem to believe me but eventually made a note that she would send a note to that location. I asked for a call back when the issue was resolved and she said she could not guarantee that because uhaul was "busy." Uhaul simply does not do customer service well. My trailer was confirmed to be dropped off several hours later with no call back.
