It is poor service when you book this to show up at a location and it doesn't go there because they won't handle them. Why is it an option on your website if they can't handle them. This cost me extra time and money for the fuel needed to go to a further away location. Poor service at pick up location as well

You nitpick me for 2 gallons of gas when I had to drive nearly 100 miles to a different location to pick up the vehicle - all because Uhaul screwed up? please. While it was nice getting charged less then what gas costs - the notion that I got charged after having to spend the fuel money to drive that far out of my way is obscene.

As one would be fully aware, moving can be stressful enough, and any hiccups avoided would be greatly appreciated. When we got to my daughter's apartment to assist with packing, I opened the glass packing kit to find out that there was no box included in the package. What a disappointment, as the package clearly states that “box with handle includedâ€. And no where in the store where I picked up the kit did it note that box is included box, but you will need to grab one as not packaged with the kit. When returning the rental truck back, I explained the situation and kindly asked to return the kit as it was not used due to no box was included. The representative apologized for not letting me know that I needed to grab a box on my way out and indicated because I had opened the “kitâ€, it was not returnable. It was clear that I didn't utilized the kit. He directly me to another gentlemen and was told the same and proceeded to say that he would give me a “free†box. I'm a bit puzzled as to why he would say, “freeâ€, when I paid for it but was not told that it was not packaged with the kit? I felt that the two gentlemen's customer service was poor and felt that they didn't offer any help nor given me any time to explain the reason of my displeased with their service. With this experience, it's said that I do not have any desire to continue to use this location nor would I recommend to use the Nib Hill location for their moving need.

Returned clean, one small strip of mud where the pull down door sits, was told to take it to a car wash or pay $50 for a cleaning charge. When I disagreed with the cleaning charge, the employee to his subordinate to charge me anyways, after some arguing with the employees, they brought me a mop. I mopped the streak for less than a minute and the employee said it was good, I laughed and responded “ that's what you were going to charge 50 dollars for? Lazy ass employee just laughed and said it was how it was. Will never use this location again.

MARK EDWARD B.The pods showed up late in the afternoon on the day of delivery after i was told the drop off would be around noon. On pick up Uhaul called to ask about the road conditions and the state of our driveway. I responded that everything was fine. Then I was informed that the driver was on the way. The truck never showed up. I called 4-5 times over that day to see what was going on. Every time until the call at 4:45 PM I was told the truck was on the way and the pods would be picked up that day. This was important because the sale of our house was the day after the pods were scheduled for pick up, so if Uhaul was late it made it impossible for the buyers to move their stuff in. At 4:45 I was told that the driver was not coming until the next morning. When the driver did arrive, a day late and at noon, the next day she told me the dispatcher had her sit in the office all day until I sent pictures of the roads and driveway. That was never told to me and because of the lack of communication my pods were picked a day and a half late complicating our house sale and the move. It was incredibly frustrating.
David B.Not U-Haul's fault but the location is near a homeless camp. It was a little unsettling when my wife and daughter had to wait to pick me up there at night while I was delayed filling my friend's truck with gas. Our trailer had a very strong kerosene or diesel smell. I rented the trailer to move some furniture. We tried but it was impossible to exchange a trailer in the Puget Sound area. They suggested we drive back 130 miles for an exchange.

Staff told me it is because the building is not finished being built. The storage business hours are falsely displayed in many places and it is not 24 hour access, it isn’t even regular hour access. Storage hours are the same as office hours, but nobody including staff informed me of that. I understand if hours are different due to covid, however, ALL the signs in the building and online could be updated. It is false advertising and will be reported to the BBB. There were several available storage rooms that were much closer to the only door of access so why was mine placed so far from it. Some staff members were rather rude to tell me I could “just get storage elsewhere” when I expressed my concerns. I won’t recommend uhaul storage to anyone I know. Mike was the only person to help explain issues to me even though he was unable to help make it right. Basically, all staff told me to deal with it, or I could get storage elsewhere. Inconvenient location of the storage room within the huge building from the only service entrance. Falsely advertised hours of access to storage online and at the facility. Rude and unhelpful customer service.
