I was charged a extra month for service. After requesting a refund, i was charged again for another month instead of the refund. At this point I have received a one month refund and now awaiting the other month to be refunded. After five crew is more interested in hanging out with coworkers instead of helping their customers. The manager seems to avoid face to face resolution I left there feeling insignificant.Janell C.

When asked to send 3 pictures of where to place the U-boxes I was unable to access the website to do this. Sending pictures via text is much simpler. This caused a one day delay in delivery. Remember, those moving in only have cell phones and not all have smart phones.jim V.
Derrick was the person who spoke with me on the phone and set me up with a storage unit. He did a great job explaining what the options are. When I went in to the store Derrick was the one who continued to help me with the process. He showed me two options and from that I was able to make a good decision. I'm not a new customer, I have been a customer for over 2 years. I have been enrolled on autopay for that period and not had any problems. I recently changed cards and that is where the problems started. I called and spoke with an employee who updated my card info over the phone. I thought all was good at that point. Weeks later, I got a call from a lady saying my bill hadn't been paid? So I went to the center and physically updated the card with an employee. 3 days later, I get an email saying my bill hasn't been paid and I am getting a $20 late fee. I responded to the email, and didn't hear back until the young lady called me back and we updated the card again. It would appear that it took me 3 tries to do task as simple as updating the payment method. My time was wasted as well as the time of multiple employees there.Kinsey Revocable T. | First Impressions

TOO many furniture pads! Not enough room for my boxes and items....had to return more than half to the store upon packing. Customer service IN PERSON is great. They do a great job, yet at both Colorado and Missouri they are understaffed. Getting ahold of a location is IMPOSSIBLE! I tried to call the store on many occasions, never got through. Tried to chat online to get help, to no avail. Had to waste time going TO the location to schedule delivery and pick up and ask questions. Hours wasted holding for a phone call never answered- Love the U-Box option. You need to market this harder. the college option and quick move is awesome. Need to give more options for delivery fees and make them more accessible. Make the fee more affordable (MO was great, CO was three times higher!) I will consider this again if I have to move more than across town in my future.Michelle C.

The website ordering of my hitch was, OK. It did not correctly order the parts to be ready on the scheduled day. Nor, never sent a reminder of the installation date. To obtain my trailer hitch I had to make two trips to UHAUL. One trip on my scheduled day to find the wiring harness did not come in. I then had to leave and come back the next day, while the part was ordered. I finally spent more than four hours of my time over two days and more than 50 miles total driving to have my hitch delivered to the store and installed. The install took about an hour and a half. This was fine. The staff was very professional and courteous. No Purchase: At the store, I tried to buy a combination round lock priced at $14.95. However, the computer system was then adding an additional $3.00 plus, total cost over $18.00! Staff could not fix. I did not buy the lock from UHAUL.Brian S.

There was a wait when we arrived but suddenly after one guy came in there were 4 or 5 others. The guy that was helping us was moved over to help a problem and we were in limbo. Now once they got us started it took 5 mins before we were done and on our way with the truck. So that was really nice.Carrie A.
I originally rented the 5x7 utility trailer with ramp but for some reason couldn't get the lights to work on it, so I had to rent the smaller box truck to pick up a refrigerator which they said would stand up in because it's height was 6'2 (not including the sliding door... )had to lay the refrigerator down and now I have to wait 48 hours before I can turn my refrigerator on. My rental ended up costing me way more also.Leslie S.

The pick up was dirty. The attendance checking us out would not walk around the pick up. Several dings on it the cargo light inside was painted red.cockroaches cralllin everywhere While we was working the sheriff pulled us over and told us the pick up was stolen. While moving my two huskies got out the night I was using the uhaul I was supposed to have it back the morning after before 11am but found my two huskies dead by the highway at 8am. I reserved 2 furniture dolly's. The girl that checked me out said to go outside while she gets the truck. She pulled up with the truck and said here you go and started to walk off. I asked if the dolly's were in the back of the truck and she said oops, I forgot. She left for 5 minutes then came back with only one. She said that's all they had and that I needed to go back inside to get a refund for the dolly I didn't receive. I stood there for five minutes while she attempted to process a refund. It turns out that she did not know how to do it and ask the manager that was hiding in his office how to do it through an intercom system. She still didn't know how to do it and finally I said, just give me a regular dolly, I need to go. She did and I left.Jerry T.

The address and GPS directions took me to the new location, however no one was there. It was not at all eveident that I needed to go across the street! I spent over 15-20 mins trying to figure out what was going on and finally called customer service and after another 10 minutes, was finally given the key I would not recommend the mobile app to pick up the rental van.Joanne R.
I was upgraded from a van to a 17' truck because there were no vans available without any issues. The truck was clean but seemed to need some attention in the maintenance department, it struggled to accelerate and shift gears, I was glad that I only needed it for a very short in town move and not for a long highway move.Terra O.

Stop scanning driver's license data. I submitted two photo IDs (DL & military) and credit card. There is absolutely no need to scan my license to covertly learn my personal medical information such as: eye and hair color, weight/height, gender and possibly my thumb print. I returned the trailer last night and could nOT get your AP to load for return. I called your center and the lady told me to call you all this morning at 9 am. I did that and never got anyone to answer. I feel i do NOT owe the $20 when I tried to take care of it professionally and didnt get any response in return. What a scam! I have used your equipment several times of the years, and this is what it has become. What has ever happened o true customer service. The cashier who assisted me was not wearing a mask. She put one on when I asked her to, but then she pulled it down to her chin instead while she was in the truck pulling it up to the door for me. Some of the other employees were wearing theirs, but about half weren't. It was pretty disappointing considering Springfield has a mask ordinance active and businesses are expected to enforce it.rachel H.

Renting unit was very quick because I already have an account with U haul and was just transferring from one facility to another. Also, didn't expect to get first month free since I did not see any advertisements for it and companies, for example cable companies, usually focus their specials on new customers, not existing.Daniel P. | First Impressions
