My truck wasn't entered in the system. They had to come over to the 24 drop site to find which drop box my key was in so I could get my truck. Possible transmission issue: couldn't disengage the towing button on the shifter when truck was empty aand seemed to take a longer time to shift out of 3rd gear while accelelerating than normal.ROBERT B.
I would choose the second location in Crystal on HWY 81 where there is an service center that can help with any issues with a mobile check out. The keys for the vehicle were not placed in the right box and customer service via phone or mobile options are horrible since nobody answers when you have urgent issue with check out. I ended up having to drive to second location to find a manager to support my check out and key release. The manager was patient and extremely helpful.Karl B.

It was wonderful to be able to go into my storage unit no matter what the weather and unload in the garage and reload my vehicle whenever I needed things. All of the staff was friendly and I had a wonderful wonderful experience throughout the whole year that I stored my stuff there. Thank you so much for all of the time that you took with me figuring out my needs. I Had a bad experience in both pickup and drop off. That app doesnt identify the location hence it diffcult for the customers to follow the process. it hangs many times. some how successfull after 45 mins for pickup. but for the drop off app was not at all responsive didnt identify the location again so after a bunch of trial again spending an hour, ended up droppping the keys in drop box. I wouldn't recommand pick up this location and drop off as it was quite difficult for the customer to follow the app which is not built right. it is the most worst thing ever i had seen.Vikram P.
It's hard to rate when there is no one around. Not impressed with your internet check in service. I did not get notice that this was an online tranaction until I was on my way. Took 45 mins to set this up on the phone out in the parking lot.Dean S.

It was so hard to do the process we ended up needing help and customer service wouldn't answer either. It was such a hassle. Never again at this one because everything is done by phone and if for some reason your phone doesn't work with the prompts given then you're stuck there standing hoping for customer service to answer. I was charged after I moved out and cancelled my services with you that cause my account to be overdrawn. I called prior to moving and asked that they don’t take any money out of my account. We had a great experience thanks to Darrel whom helped us checked in. As a first time storage renters and in a new state, he took the fear out of us and brought us at ease. The parking outside of the storage looks worn down and unkept, but the facility looks brand new. I like its double security and garages that I could drive inside to unload safely. The complimentary flat beds provided for hauling items to and from my storage unit and the spacious, smooth elevator for traveling between floors are a plus. Employees were great however my location was turned on for my phone but it still wouldn't work. Good thing there was somebody working otherwise I literally wouldn't have been able to do anything, or would've had to sit on hold for 15 minutes while people were waiting for me to grab my key. I had to bang on a window & flag down the staff who was really nice & helped, but the process overall was so annoying. Budget rental is 1000 times easier to use.Jardon G.

The actual storage was great, but customer service was terrible. I was never told how I would pay when I purchased the storage. The very first month I got an email that it was due 4/26/21 tried to pay a couple days before and it wouldn't allow me to then charged a late fee of 15.00. I called customer service and they explained you can't pay early but if you set up direct billing from an acct then the 15.00 would be refunded. I set it up and no refund. I called customer service again and they said they couldn't refund only mgr at the location could. I called the mgr at the location at least 5 times and left voicemails and never got a call back or refund. I eventually took off automatic payment and was still charged 2 months in a row automatically. Just a bad experience and I won't use this location againdetra M. | Overall Experience

Didn't setup the truck share right.. Manager helped and everything. I get to the pickup location the next day and had to spend 2 and half hours fixing their mess up. Keys weren't in the lockbox.Mya B.

It took 3 hours and travel to 3 different locations to initially rent the truck, and 1.5 hours to return it, which never was successfully completed using the u-haul app. The app did not work properly upon returning the truck - I could not take and upload photos - and I spent 15 minutes o hold trying to talk to a live representative, before being asked to leave a message by a 3rd party answering service. I will not be using this app or any u-haul location that requires it. If I can not locate a u-haul location that does not provide staffed assistance, I will not be using u-haul in the future, and I have at least 2 more moves scheduled Within 4 weeks and again in 2 years.Dougles H.

You can make it clear, upon confirming the rental online, that it is necessary to download the app and that it will be needed to rent the vehicle. Maybe send an email with the instructional video of how to rent at a location that doesn't have an attendant. It was a shitty thing to have to figure out while standing in an empty unattended parking lot, wishing that I was already in the vehicle on my way to my destination. A big sign at the door, telling people that the confirmation email that they received is useless because they are going to have to go through half of the rental process all over again, in the app, before they can get the keys to the vehicle, would be nice. I left that parking lot after half an hour of frustration and confusion and two conversations with two remote customer service attendants. The website was also useless in giving me the information that I needed. It kept confirming that my rental was ready with no indication that I needed to do anything else to complete the process. Now that I know, I don't suspect I'll have a problem in the future, but my experience was very stressful because I didn't give myself enough time to deal with the mystery that the situation dragged me through.Jason T.
Terrible. Intercom is timed so when I could get a hold of customer service, the intercom hung up on them. General manager never called me back, even though he was listed as the after hours number to call. Customer service took 40 minutes to get a hold of after being placed on hold. Checking out a vehicle is unnecessarily complex. Never using uHaul again nor would I recommend it to anyone.Oscar H.
We didn't get the vehicle we were guaranteed and had to settle for a cargo van which meant many trips and we ended up putting way more miles on than we would have with a larger truck. Also didn't get the blankets we requested and had to go to a different location to pick up van. I am not sure this is the fAULT OF THE DEALER OR THE RESERVATIONISTDianne B.
