The woman in the office were rude and would hang the phone up on you before you were finished talking I would never recommend that office to anyone on 29th St. because of the women that work in that office. My only complaint is that ramp to the 2nd floor. It is very steep and comes to a point at the top instead of it being rounded off. Any but a truck or SUV will have the bottom of the vehicle scraping on that shelf.Benjamin H. | Overall Experience

It has mice. My property was all full of black dust and mice faces. Had to leave 2 boxes behind cause mice were in it. Had to get rid of my favorite chair. It was awful. Could never get in touch with manager. Had a problem of loosing my keys.. had problems with that. Some manager called Lily was very rude over the phone. Didn"t try to help get their locksmith to cut locks. Had to pay 120. dollsrs to get it done. The office personnel were understanding and nice, but coulfn"t help me. Robin was the best. I have been trying to contact the facility for days. I have a serious problem and I need to speak with someone but uhaul has made that impossible. I wait on hold for up to an hour and I only talk to someone who knows nothing about the facility. Because the calls are all forwarded. There have been multiple messages left for someone, the manager of the facility, to call me back, but no one has cared to lift a finger. You got my money, I cannot get my truck safely in and out of that building, I have an 8' x 8' flatbed and the facility does not accommodate that. I have since rented a unit from different storage facility. I cannot store my things in your facility. I want a refund. Initially I wanted a different unit, on the ground floor, something I could safely get to. But no one cares about my problem, there was no solution. Just messaged left with no returned calls. Where is the uhaul management team??? They have certainly failed as far as I'm concerned. I spent over $400 this month with uhaul, and I feel I should at least get a phone call to discuss my concerns and try to find a solution. I just want my money back now. Uhaul severed the ties with me, this was not my fault. I'm stressed out enough with having to move, it is uhaul's business to alleviate stress for movers, that is what you do. But you really jammed me up instead. This makes uhaul look bad. I will never hire your company again to help me move or store anything. As soon as my move is completed I'm going to file a complaint with the attorney generals office as well as the Better Business. The websites sets expectations for potential customers that are at variance with the actual service and prices. There is nothing more inconvenient that having to go to one location to fill out paper work and then to the next to actually store your property. However, if it was mentioned on the site, I would have taken different measures. Instead of just stating what is required on the site, the site tries to hook you in easily and once you're ready to fill out the paper work, you hear a different story. From my calculations based on what I saw on the website It seemed like a good deal. When I called, I was already told I would be paying for more stuff. I did call because I know that storage facilities have deceptive advertising and Uhaul is no different. In the end I end up paying almost twice as the online quote and since I took a cab, I paid twice as much for the cab also. All in all, I was out of way more money than I budgeted thanks to deceptive advertising.Sjalome B. | First Impressions
I was told my unit would be free for the first month since i rented a uhual but i was charged the monthly fee. Also very hard to get into place with a truck garage door would not open. Other then those concerns it was a very pleasant expierence.Lauren M. | Online Move In

There are no signs for how to get in or anyone there to help. I still don't know how to open the garage door and I've been waiting in line for 20 minutes for the truck and there's still 3 people a head of me.candi R. | First Impressions

There are not words to describe the inconvenience and hassle I experienced. My â€œexpress checkoutâ€ took 1.5 hours. There was no one on site to assist. My favorite was the code to access the key for the vehicle. It was a word while the combination, which was not where it was supposed to be, was in numbers. I want a full refund.doug F.

With no clear prior notice, I received an email at 7:15 a.m. on the day of my reservation that my reservation had been changed to a 24/7 truck share that requires a smart phone. The email was sent less than an hour before the scheduled pickup and I don't use a smart phone, so I didn't see this message. The miscommunication resulted in my arriving first at Cameron St., which was closed and unattended, then having to travel to the S. 29th St location to find out what to do, then returning to Cameron St. to meet a manager. The manager's (Sarah) performance was fine; she arrived promptly and explained things clearly. But the delay put us back a significant amount of time as we traveled from Cameron to S. 29th St. and back again--despite having completed the express check-in process beforehand..william Z.

This was a horrible experience. I was not pleased and I did not appreciate the fact that there is not anyone available to assist you with your rental process or the return process. Also the gentleman that answered was very rude. I will NOT RENT FROM HERE AGAINMichael W.
I reserved a rental van online for 12:30PM and when I got there, no one was there. After calling 2 different phone numbers I finally got a hold of someone, who said that someone would be there in a few minutes. 20 minutes later someone shows up and said it would be about 10 more minutes until I got my vehicle. 20 minutes after that, we're struggling to access the key. Overall, the process took over an hour past the time I was supposed to pick-up the vehicle, when I was supposed to â€œcheck-inâ€ online. Very disappointed with the disorganization and the lack of urgency to remedy the situation. I will NOT be recommending uhaul to a friend.Sarah D.
arrived to rent truck during open hours. Found a note on the door saying they were running errand. Waited 1 hour for someone to show up. Air conditioning did not work. Was told by employee she had no idea how to fix it. This was the only truck available in the area. Driving 600 miles in hot temps. Complained to the company and received a rediculous email from management comparing my trip to shopping at Walmart using a shopping cart with a broken wheel. Said I should have accepted their offer to swap out the loaded truck with a replacement in the middle of driving down I-81. This truck was full and I had no one with me to unload then reload the truck. I will never use U-Haul nor recommend this company.Nancy H.
It took a team over 2 hrs to get me out of the office. Although Steve was very professional, kind and courteous. The other guy had gotten very excited very quick. Instead of trying to help Steve resolve the issue he walked out into the wharehouse and let Steve fend for himself. I lost half of my moving help due to not being on time for the move. Not only was this an unconvince it caused my husband, my elderly sister and myself physical pain. All could have been avoided had I been checked out in a timely manner.Robert G.
