Nathan and others on his team - it’s really unfortunate how poorly you communicate with customers, make changes to reservations without making the customer aware, and being impossible to reach without physically visiting the facility.

BRYAN H | Overall ExperienceI was supposed to have a 10 x 10 x 8 unit, but upon arrival, I had two smaller units next to each other. I was never informed of this and there was only one lock. We had to go purchase another lock, which should have been included in my rent. Unfortunately, there was nobody at the facility to help and I tried calling the location MULTIPLE times without any luck. I have still not been able to reach anyone about this issue. Very frustrating, especially for an out-of-state move.

Jerry G | Overall ExperienceTerence was nice but we were told we could come to the storage anytime and that was not the case. After loading and moving 3 truckloads to a new home, we loaded the truck to take to the storage unit only to find we did not have access. Had to call to find out that even though the place is monitored we could not access the unit after 10pm. My husband and his brother arrived around 10:20. I’ve never had a storage unit that I could not access at least until 12 midnight. I currently have a unit with Sparebox and have 24 hour access. The truck is full of heavy items and due back at 8 am and the store opens at 7. Not only will the truck be back late, there will be more miles on it. The customer service lady said they should extend your rental but couldn’t tell me how much it would cost. She also said that someone would be there to help me unload the truck as my husband has to travel out of state for work in the morning. But again she couldn’t guarantee that. I’m very disappointed by the whole situation. No help whatsoever at a monitored location at 1030 at night. We never would have been there at that time if we weren’t told we could come anytime. That unit is too expensive to have limited access. I will be calling at 7am as the truck is still full.
Demeka D | First ImpressionsThere wasn’t adequate warnings about having to go to the main facility before the actual storage unit. The guy that helped us denied our one-month free for renting a U-Haul because he couldn’t get the discount to work. We then got back to the facility just to be locked out because there was no instruction on having to swipe the card at multiple different points to get one door open. It’s a nice place - but would have chosen somewhere different had I known what the experience would have been like.

Also, I did not like that I had to go to a different location when I had questions or to drop off my keys because there was no one on site.

I’ve known people with storage and the price does get affected but not so many times in a year, twice for these storage units. Price was perfect for me to begin with, didn’t want to spend more. Didn’t take long to up that. There was damage in the unit, from water and from mice and no one was helpful with that. Even had pictures.

It appears you want long term rentals to move out. According to your website a 10x20 rents for $139 a month and I was paying over $240 a month.

I would recommend a digital access app for going in and out of the facility. A couple times I got drenched because I had to get out in the rain to open or close the gate.

Jerry R | First ImpressionsMy experience was not good (before U-Haul took over). Didn’t have it long after I-Haul took over. Washer and Dryer were stolen. Furniture and boxes had spider eggs on them. Found a live black widow and brown recluse while moving out.
ELLEN H | Overall ExperienceThe man who waited on us was not at all knowledgeable about how to check in our 20 foot truck and tow dolly plus get us a storage unit which was part of our reservation. It took us over an hour and a half to be assigned a storage bin only to find it way too small to hold anything of any value in a 20-foot truck we were reassigned a storage bin several miles away completely unloaded only to discover that we couldn't lock it with the lock they sold us I couldn't check in online to get the free lock either. They did go put a proper lock on the bin and return the keys to us but at one point after having been there for more than an hour because he couldn't figure out how to enter anything in the computer mind you the manager who knew how to do it was sitting at the desk next to him and kept saying what do you think you should do next at this point I looked at my boyfriend and said honey I need to tap out and go outside I've had all I can take. I do not think customer should be made to wait like this while there is somebody quite capable of waiting on them but refusing to. I will do anything I can to move my thing from the U-Haul storage and into my new home as soon as I get one hopefully using a different rental system overall this experience was quite time-consuming and frustrating.!

Finally was able to get everything in my new home. As I moved out, there were crickets scattered here and there, but storage must be sprayed because they were dead.
