U-Haul hired the moving company. Our lock, with pictures of how it was packed and of the lock on the container at the exact time it left our residence in Starkville, MO. U-Haul took possession of the contents, and when we received the container at delivery in Sacramento, CA, it had a different lock. We had to call the warehouse to ask how to get in, and they immediately knew the LOCK code.We kept the office on the phone while we opened the box. We asked where the box was stored, and they said it was in their warehouse, which the public did not have access to. Every box was opened and gone through, and items were stolen and damaged. Everything is dirty, and they completely violated our personal belongings. Absolutely devastating. We still had the office on the phone through all of this, and they did not send anyone out. The manager, Diana Williams at the Sacramento location did not want to speak to us, and we were then connected to the claims department. A police report was filed, and we want an immediate refund of the shipping and delivery fees. U-Haul did not secure our belongings in their possession at all times; they put a different lock on the container and did not notify us. The company did not keep our U-Haul box secure.

The salesman was very friendly, however they took my cellphone number and email. I rented the cargo trailer for the weekend. When I went to load my stuff in the trailer it had a fowl odor. We loaded the trailer ran into some bad weather my stuff got wet in the trailer some items were messed up. When I went to return the trailer the wire was wrapped around the ball and I pulled the connectors off. I was willing to pay to fix it. Called autozone and the wires were 11.99. Called U-haul twice Monday morning and never got an answer. Checked my bank statement and they charged my card $42.00. Will never rent from them again. What was the purpose of getting my number and email if you wasn't going to use it.

Didn’t ask if this my 1st time esp on the storage renting. I was at lost in my drop off place that it was already closed and didn’t know what to do. We stayed there for a hour to figure it out on our own and went out to go back to the UHaul drop off place the next day.. They should have detailed instructions for beginners.

This place is nasty. All of our stored contents have been ruined by rats and roaches that was in our personal property in the unit. I’ve never seen a more disgusting place and am currently filing an insurance claim for losses. I would never recommend anyone to ever rent a storage unit here.

The tow dolly straps with not safe. One side of the strap was cut short and had to deflate tire to it on. Had to call Road Runner roadside service because the other side of the strap came off and vehicle was dragging. That took about a 1:30 hour wait. So it was not a pleasant experience.

I would not recommend U-Haul storage. They have rats. The staff didn’t inform me at the time. They will tell you someone has food but overall they knew and still didn’t tell me. We had our stuff in storage for approx. 3 weeks. Upon pick up, we discovered mice poop was all over the unit including our belongings. I notified the manager but nothing was done. Upon unpacking our belongings we found mouse poop on most of our stuff. I have to wash all our clothing, linen, and kitchenware articles. Food items had to be disposed of. I called U-Haul and filed a formal complaint.

Mike does a great job with his leadership. Honestly, he is the best employee (Manager/Owner) at the site. The only issue I had with my entire service throughout my rental time was at the end. I reserved well in advance a 20’ uhaul truck to get back to Nebraska. I was given a TWENTY SIX FEET truck. I am traumatized. It was a horrible experience. As a female, driving alone over 800 miles this was a horrifying experience. Backing up, parking, etc. I RESERVED a 20’ truck but was “upgraded” to one of the biggest trucks on the lot. The worst drive I’ve ever had. I wish I could’ve gotten my money back. Other than this, I loved uhaul of Meridian on Frontage Rd.

One major concern was the fact my vehicle was hooked on the incorrect equipment , nor was my vehicle in the appropriate gear, and I was not informed. Therefore causing my transmission to go out. Needless to say the were very helpful. Thank you,

My furniture was in the storage 6/2-6/7 the rats started eating on a area rug which was leaning against the wall, and I had a love seat ( small couch) it was on top of the big couch they had started eating on the back of it everything else was good and that's the only reason I wouldn't recommend it to no one else

Made my moving too easy as moving is headache enough then then month storage help a great deal because one less thing to worry about only issue was charged $40 more than more then my quote and $40 more than my contract dont know what this was for and nobody can exo Plain but clean.my truck replaced my gas so where the extra $40 go
