Never received prior notification, initially given a truck, then gave another, mileage and fuel level was wrong, was told they would send me a new updated contract. Open back of truck once they found key to their lock. Back of truck had leaves in it. Truck fuel level was less than 1/8, mileage was off, appears truck must have been used without a contract. Took over 45 minutes from time of arrival at this location, til I left only to go straight to a gas station and put $125 in the tank, which did not fill it.

The equipment failed on me. A fender on the 5x8 enclosed trailer came loose and was hanging down. I secured it with bungee cords to make it back. I was not aware of hitting anything to cause damage. That said, i did not have the optional coverage plan and was charged $160 on the spot for the fender. I guarantee you the fender won't be replaced, all it will take is two screws to re-attach to the frame. I should have done it myself before returning it, rather than get fleeced for the extra $$. Have rented several times over the years at various locations, products were always good, atmosphere at facilities were mainly sketchy. This place was an exception! While in a sketchy part of town, the facility and grounds were exceptional. Excellent feel in the store, clean, smelled great, staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. Pleasantly surprised, will recommend this location without reservation.

I started this morning with a reservation with Mark at the south Hill UHAUL on the Palouse Highway.He called at 0845 today he was closed due to death in the family. I already had a reservation so I tried picking up the truck through my smart phone. Alas, the lock would not open apparently because the metal was cold as this happened with another truck Mark had me try. After 40 minutes, finally I went to the downtown store and Matthieu got us set up with a truck. When I complained about the locks, both Mark and Matthieu made excuses that the locks were cold. You all NEED to be SURE that the locks WILL work when it's cold if you are going to offer check-in via a cell phone. It is imperative that you have locks that work in the cold, when it's very cold. No Excuses. We will remember this and it is likely that we will NOT use UHAUL again. Sincerely Virginia Powers

Took 4 days to get hitch installed. Started at N. Division. Had to reschedule since New Manager in meeting on Tuesday. On Wednesday waited over 2 hours only to be told couldn't do job.l Referred to 3rd street. Got there and was told by Mgr he had own customers to take care of. Rescheduled for Thursday. Employee was not sure he could do the job and missing bolts. Left overnight and Friday they called said car ready. Wife got there they didn't know where to put the fuses for wiring. Finally done. One side of bumper cover not attached. Terrible experience. Twice they called and told tried to put responsibility on me for fues and bolts they needed.

1. Train your front end people to sit up straight, an not interact with customers as though they’ve known them forever, but really aren’t interested - even if this was our third rental in a year. 2. With a miscommunication in return times, your automated email system is a waste of time. And calls from two different people was a waste of my time. 3. Saving the day was the return staff. He was cordial and professional and when the invoice total was more than I expected, he figured out the difference and took care of it. I’ll probably find another place to rent next time.

Customer service was excellent. I was lucky enough to work with the same gentleman for pick up and drop off and he was quick and efficient and helpful and nice. And the bathrooms and the store were both clean and well maintained. I pre-registered online and pick up was extremely fast. And returning the uhaul was really fast and easy too! I returned my trailer at the same location I picked it up and had a fantastic rate. I will definitely use this service again.

It was very disorganized, when we picked up the trailer they had so much equipment packed in that lot that we had to drive the truck and trailer on some grass to get out(following the employees instructions) as there was no other way to leave. The employees were friendly, although one came up and had us open the trailer to check and make sure there “weren’t any homeless people in there.” Apparently they tend to “sleep in the trailers and sometimes do their business in them” which was slightly worrying but also pretty funny. Other than that there weren’t any issues. More just about the location.

The worst customer service ai have ever had. How can you start helping a customer and leave them standing there to do a return for someone that pulled up during the trailer hook up. After that he helped another customer in store while we were waiting after being in the middle of assisting me. Terrible!!!!

The lighting was good but on several occasions the timer light turned off while I was in my unit leaving me in the dark. Also I think there were homeless people in there the last 2x I was there.

Although things were finally taken care of...there were too many miscommunications about due dates. They locked my storage unit 2x for "non payment" when payment was not due. Grateful to be out of th
