Wish the lady asked me how many rooms I was moving should have got the next size truck might have saved a little. The parking was terrible A U-Haul van parked in the front and took up three parking spaces.

There should be more than one employee at a time working. Equipment should be ready and not in need of new fuses or anything else. Employees should be informed of the differences between in town and out of town rentals.

Prices aren't what they used to be nowadays you gotta pay for mileage in everything else no longer just $20 a day but 79 cents a mile if you go over your mileage ended up being a hundred and thirty dollars for one day not 20

we used credit card to secure truck....with understanding that at end of move we could pay with check..that did not happen..all was kept on card..feel we were misled/lied to..

Get some new vehicles. I was given a vehicle that could honestly harm someone. The gas gauge rotated back and forth so I never knew how much fuel was in it, the steering wheel had so much play in it I could barely drive straight, and as I started to brake, it shuttered so hard when it down shifted I almost rear ended someone. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

I gave the location all good scores because they did nothing wrong but customer service sucks over the phone. I reserved a 17' truck and when I went to pick it up the lady there said they only had a 14' and said that is what was in the reservation. She assured me that it would fit my 2 bedroom home which didnt happen and the I called into customer service and they told me that im gonna have to pay for a trailer. Its not my fault that they didn't do their job and also lied that everything would fit because they didnt want me to go elsewhere and then she also mentioned that thats what I would have to do or unload the truck and bring it back to exchange

The customer service in this facility was fine. However the 24' truck that we rented to move our house hold approximately 30 miles was 20 years old and reeked of cigarette smoke and was filthy inside the cab and the back of the truck needed to be swept out and moped! The vehicle needs new shocks as it rode and drove poorly. It vibrated and swayed so much it was like riding down the road in a washing machine. I am glad that my fine dinner ware wasn't packed on this truck. This vehicle needs to be decommissioned. In the future we will insist on a newer vehicle by first viewing which one will be issued to us.

First, they fraudulently told me that a dolly would be on the truck, but it wasn't. She said it was due to being a one-way rental truck. Did she NOT know that when she lied to me about the dolly being included? I paid my deposit to reserve the truck for one-day rental. Then when I picked up the truck, he tried to tell me that I had to have it back the same day, that it was subject to "availability." Then what good is the reservation? I rented storage space and had stopped to buy a padlock, only to be told that I had to buy one of theirs. She never told me of this additional cost when I first inquired. They were very unprofessional, told me contradictory information, and seemed to change their story at every turn. Also, the facility itself has very odd angles. You must exit your car, walk thru a gate to use the pass card, then get back in your car, regardless of weather. I have never seen a facility without a free-standing punch-pad or way to swipe the card. Very inconvenient.

the trailers NEED shocks or leaf springs BADLY i saw my trailer "catch air" over small pot holes or Bumps, small curbs like going from a street onto a gas station entrance is horrible cause you have to slow down so much so your cargo doesnt bounce.

The battery was dead on re start try at my home 5 miles from the pick up rental center. Could not tow our trailer as the 7 pin connector was not compatable with electric trailer brake...web site nor clerk was aware of this being an issue. Clerk at center was wonderful

Make sure that the truck you reserve is available at the location you reserve it for. Also make sure the truck is ready when you get there and clean. Also make sure it does not take 45 minutes to get the truck once you get there. Also make sure the UHual employees know what they are doing and how to do their job and are not making up tons of excuses and blaming everyone else for all the problems you occur.

Guy that hooked up car hauler left wiring harness dragging on the ground. I had to stop in Huntsville AL at dark, buy wire strippers and tape, and repair it myself...couldn't get home with no lights.

Super small parking lot,had to wait on busy street with hazard lights on just to get onto property. Employee didnt knoe how to operate device and made us wait 10minutes while he got tje paper version. Since the wrong truck was dispatxhed,the other employee didnt know what to do to fix issue and called someone else to fix it. It wad one of the worst uhaul experiances ever.

It was just such a small place and there were three other couples waiting to get their trucks/storage.

The truck was in terrible shape we were afraid it was going to break down, had trouble starting, brakes were bad, and transmission would not shift properly. I sure would not have started any where out of town in this vehicle brought it back 4 hrs early & still paid over $100 for 30 miles. I would never go to that store again!

This location needs to have better entrance to this busness. It doesnt have a very large parking or a large enough entrance to handle the traffic in and out.

the only complaint I have is that I was told I couldn't drop off the trailer that I rented for a day at a closer u-Hual dealer about 40 miles closer everything else was alright.

When I went in to pick up the trailer, the older gentleman that was there was very rude towards me and my wife for renting the trailer. He wanted to argue with us about my SUV not being able to pull the trailer. We pulled the trailer with no problems at all. We have pulled them with the current vehicle before. When we came back to drop off the trailer, the young man that received it tried to charge us an extra day on the rental. We even had a conformation call on the day that we rented the trailer to conform that there would not be an additional charge for it. Other than those two issues, the experience was pretty good.

The office was so small and on one of the times going there it was busy and not everyone could fit in the office, and the parking lot is kinda danerous

Customer service at this location was dismal. After telling me to drive the truck and trailer to the back corner of the storage area. The representative met me there on his golf cart, we unhooked the trailer, and then he took off... Telling me to meet him in the office, leaving me to walk the couple of hundred meters back. On checkout he was very rude and didn't explain the charges associated with my turning it in a day late (which I called in to arrange). He had a very rude demeanor and presentation. I would never allow someone of this nature to work for my business.

The location of the office can be difficult to enter or exit due to its close proximity to a crowded intersection. Other than that, they were polite and tried to help us as much as possible with an issue from a previous uhaul location that we rented from.

I rented the vehicle under the impression I would have it for a 24 hour period, but when I got there I was told I had to return it at 8 that evening. I called the office when I realized I wouldn't make the cut off time, and I was told I could return it later and incur additional charges; I would receive a call discussing the additional fee the next day. The call I received was not to discuss charges, but to demand the truck back by 8 the next morning. I told them I didn't have a way home but they didn't care. I dropped the truck off but ended up walking 2 miles down the road to a rental car agency.

This is the third time I have rented a truck from this location and every time the truck is worse than the time before. Just looking at the outside appearance of this truck, I was surprised it is still on the road. The dash was smashed up and with every bump in the road, the whole dash would bounce too. When we picked up the truck, my wife followed me home and told me that the right brake light and blinker were not working and we later found out the right tail light was not working either. There was no washer fluid in the washer reservoir so when it started drizzling and wipers smeared the windshield, I could not clear it to see. The passenger side mirrors were so loose that the wind on the highway would move them out of adjustment so I had a permanent blind spot on that side when I was driving by myself. We had to call uhaul for an issue with the truck when a buzzer and brake light came on in the cab that would not go off. It did not appear as if the brakes were dragging or not but didn't want to take the chance. The buzzer was too annoying to drive around with. The truck had a small leak of some sort of fluid that it left where we would park it. Leaking from the drivers side very front of the vehicle.

Require an instructional video and block of instruction which will lead to a discount on the rental. Require a fee for the class on first time renters but its good forever as long as they maintain the record of it. Your equipment will be more safe as well as everyone on the road. Makes people plan earlier for a better rate. uhaul would make tons on money off a $5.00 class to use equipment. Uhaul could deny service based on results from testing as well.
