Everyone was really friendly even thought it was busy. Pickup and drop-off were fast and easy, and the expectations were clearly explained. Moving can be difficult but the least stressful part was getting and returning the van. Thanks to the staff!

This site was designed well, and not over crowded. The exit, was a real exit, allowing for larger Trucks & trailer to properly complete a pickup, departure, and Dropp off. On a plus side the Staff were Top SHELF. Quick efficient, and above all else, Polite. The Gentleman the received the drop off @ 1030 ish... Was over the top polite and courteous... as well as the in store staff.... SHOCKED At how GREAT this team was. All the way across the board... Thank you Olympia U HAUL WELL DONE.

From calling to reserve a 10' truck to dropping it off at the end of using it, my experience was flawless. The young lady who took my reservation was wonderful, cheerful, helpful and totally wonderful at her job! The young ladies at the counter for getting and dropping off were great. Competent, thorough and friendly. Thanks for hiring such acgrrat crew!

I was told the gas was full - it was not. I drove 14 miles, and put 5 gallons in the tank. That is 2.8 miles per gallon. If it was truly full, you have serious problems with your vehicle.

Called to extend rental by 2 hours (from 7 hours to 9 hours) and agent at main office said it would cost add’l $49, but local rental place corrected it. I’ve used the 4th Ave location before, and highly recommend it. Vey friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff.

I was overcharged on the mileage. There is only a 7 mile round trip distance between places and we made about 5 trips max. 35 miles x 1.39 = 48.65. I was charged over $100 just for mileage.

Put your customers at the center. Don't tell us what you CAN'T do, Tell us what you can do. Inform your customers when Uhaul changes the rental agreement MID-RENTAL. Our drop off location was changed to an entirely different city...so Uhaul could make their best effort to squeeze even more $ out of us for 1. Fee to drop off at the location Uhaul initially offered on both the app reservation as well as at rental pick up, or pay a fee to drop it at a location not specified at time of reservation/ pick up...in other words, Uhaul can change your reservation at any time, without notifying you, and then attempt to CHARGE YOU MORE FOR IT! Shady, tricksy, false.

Overall, my experience was good but it would have been nice if the person at the counter had told us where the vehicle was located on the lot or walked out with us to find it. We wandered around for awhile before we saw another employee outside and asked. She located in front of the building on the sidewalk. Not where I would have thought to look. The vehicle was very clean and was exactly what we needed for our task.

Overall, the staff was friendly, personable, and welcoming - particularly the young woman with the silver jewelry who checked in the truck upon its return, who was a delight. The only complaint I would have is that, though I booked the vehicle to be both picked up and returned to Bay Storage, I was called the day after the booking to tell me that I had to pick it up and return it to 4th Ave instead. As this resulted in extra miles being charged, I really should have been given some sort of credit for the inconvenience that wasn't of my doing - but oh well...

Don’t cheat and lie to your customers! The AC didn’t work, the suspension was shot, the brakes were ready to give out, the ABS light stayed on and the Haul/Tow kept coming on while the truck was empty and on the freeway! The staff were professional and kind, great people but your trucks are a death trap, you might consider maintaining your fleet before you kill someone. What a ripoff!

Out of the norm negative experience with this location. No appliance dollys were available despite it being available upon booking. Odometer was not updated in the U-Haul system after the prior customer used it, resulting in my balance reflecting 100 miles driven when my actual mileage was around 50. I spent 27 dollars on gas to return it at the same level when I received the truck. The employee helped bring it down to 65 miles driven after explaining it was impossible to drive that much based off my gas charge but I still overpaid due to the failure of someone else.

While checking out, I overheard a conversation with employees saying he was not certified to install my hitch but was asked to do it anyways. So far, 8 haven't used the hitch yet and haven't noticed anything yet, but it makes me feel really uncomfortable knowing that a non-experienced and uncertified personnel installed it.

Spaces are expensive, laughably small for no reason, and there are a million unnecessary stairs and landings to make it extra dangerous and difficult to move things in and out.

The assistance with securing a unit was fine. The size of the unit was misrepresented. I said I was bringing in a 26ft uhaul, the room was said to be 10x14. It did not say it was 3 closet size rooms, just ice 6 ft tall not even aligned. I ended up having to get a different unit with another company. I cannot believe anyone would consider it a unit, the walls were rock of some kind. Deeply disappointed with this experience.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful every time I went in. During a stressful move I needed help navigating boxes, rental trucks, locks, and everything else that goes with it. They were calm and patient and provided me with exactly the items I needed. The lady that runs this location was very rude and even when I told her that all the extra days that I had been comped due to the storm and traveling across country, she told me that there’s no way that they could have been all comped for free that she just knew that I needed to pay some type of fees and that I was gonna have to pay something she should be fired and was very rude it’s people like her that will give your company a bad name. She was very helpful once she seen that I wasn’t gonna stand for her pushing me around and then I knew what I was talking about and then I could back it up prior to that I think she thought she was gonna run all over me and charge me all types of fees and extra money left a bad taste in my mouth for Uhaul

Except the competition blows uhaul out of the water, especially this particular older location(Olympia - 4th ave/Martin Way) It is cold, hard to access, bad layout, small units, and all this for $30/month more than the competitors. We should have left a year ago!

The staff working on 1/28/2023 at the Uhaul on 4th ave was great help! We were the goobers who showed up an hour before close and needed another unit in addition to the one we reserved. Staff set us up, were super nice, even seemed to be having fun themselves. What a welcome place to walk into at the end of a stressful moving day where things have been going wrong and getting behind all day. Thanks so much to them.

Nice staff. But my unit was up 7 stairs, then down 2, then up 2, then up 1. Pretty inconvenient. And the height of unit wasn't as tall as advertised. There are also a fair amount of hidden fees, though all storage facilities seem to have hidden fees.

The staff took very good care of us. The facility is well lit and very clean. My only issue was our key card did not work. It might be good to check key cards in a reader before you give them to the customer just to make sure they function. Thank you again so much, the ladies there were awesome.

I was never shown the unit before I rented it. Two days later when I went to the unit to pack it, I found it was smaller than I expected and needed, definitely not what I was told I was renting. So after two days I canceled my contract and was told I’d be out for the money of the full month rent because “that’s how we do it here, no refunds”. I’ll never have anything nice to say about the UHaul storage units.

Long blond hair was very court reminding me to keep 6 foot distance yet did not wear her mask. Don't know how you are supposed to.move furniture to large storage (upstairs) with no elevator. Perhaps you should warn potential renters before you rent to them.

Very inconvenient location, hard to load in and out of room. Had to leave vehicle unsecured and walk up and down stairs to put stuff in the storage room. Parking is not close to units. No light in storage room, had to used flashlight on phone. Bolts were sticking out of the door, they tore through two of my shirts and scratched my back. There are people living in the storage units. Definitely a sketchy area. Much nicer storage units for less money in the area. No prorated refund upon leaving, just paid for another month on the 7th (about 140 for a small unit), moved out on the 9th, nothing credited back.
