John, the owner, is one of the nicest folks around. It was my first time towing a trailer and I had to purchase a ball hitch. John not only offered to help install it, he also gave useful advice and helped both attach and detach the trailer from my vehicle. Overall great experience. Would rent from this location again.

Y'all are pathetic for staffing this store with just one person the entire day and a trainee who was on their third day. We waited TWO HOURS before we even began our check in because of this and then to return the truck, no one was to be found because you didn't have any fucking staff at the desk.

My only issue was,after hours I needed to correct an issue with adding another day to my rental van and the person on the other end was helpful however, it was difficult for me to understand what he was saying,from another country.

The truck was clean and functioned exactly how I needed it to but…. It was clearly smoked in and U-Haul attempted to cover up the smoke smell with some kind of air freshener that was equally horrific. It was almost unbearable to be inside.

Honestly, everything was perfect. From picking up the U-Box in Bowling Green, KY to the super fast cross-country shipment to my driveway in Seattle. Exceptional service. Five stars all around! I'd also like to say that the new U-Box design is fantastic. I rented one of the older boxes about two years ago (plywood; vinyl cover). It worked, but the new design is so superior and gives a much better experience for the customer. I will highly recommend both locations of U-Haul as well as the U-Box service itself.

The customer service was great and very helpful. That said, I tried doing the U-haul app to expedite and prevent other experiences I've had standing line for almost an hour - at the Rainier location, but found it to not work well and be very slow. The van I rented was fine but the chairs both had a lot of dog hair on them and the dash and console needed a good wipe down. No one wants to get out of a car and have needle dog hair all over your backside.

Understaffed, overworked people make mistakes. Took almost an hour to get the trailer hooked up, had a low tire, blankets and dollies were not on truck, trailer blew a tire while I was traveling which cost me 3 hours of my and had to reschedule movers and storage unit check-in for the next day. This location seems unable to maintain their equipment, which caused a dangerous situation.

Staff was incredible but wow uhaul does not have their stuff together and it's clear the problem is from upper management. No availabilities despite a reservation 2 weeks in advance, then the shoreline location told us day-of that the closest 10 foot truck was here, so they changed the reservation. Then we go here and this location had no idea, followed by a line of people behind us angry that they couldn't pick up despite reservations. Uhaul needs higher standards not for their grunt workers but for their organization as a whole

Update the sign that says to stay in your vehicle. Everyone walks in to be checked out. Also, a bell or something would be good. We walked around for over 5 mins waiting before a worker walked by outside.

I had a confirmed reservation at a particular location. When I got there the desk agent said "they just took two of my vans to auction so I don't have enough vans to fulfill this reservation". She wouldn't tell me what "to auction" meant, but from context I assume U-Haul just randomly yanks vans from different locations to sell them, without regard for whether or not they're reserved?? Insane. I was able to get another van from a different location, but was filthy and had tons of undocumented damage that took ages to process. Between that and having to go to another location to get the van I almost wasn't able to get stuff into my storage locker before the storage building shut down access for the night. On top of all that, the van pulled hard to the left whenever I hit the brakes. We actually ended up not using it to move some of my belongings because we felt the van wasn't safe to take on the freeway. We returned the van and rented a pickup from a regular car rental agency to move the last of my belongings.

Except the guy at closing . I was confused about the late process and he saw that I was and he didn’t have much compassion. He told me to scan something on the pole where stop sign was, but there was no bar code to be found. After spending needless time in rain and cold I finally figured out. No thanks to him.Other than that everyone else was considerate. Thanks.

John, I would like to talk to you about the condition of the 10´ U Haul truck the we rented for a trip from Portland to Seattle yesterday, Thursday, August 22. That truck should not be on the highway. The steering and suspension are in bad shape and not safe for travel. Eric Wheeler 608-797-7754

I've rented a van 4x this summer. 3 of the 4 times it hasn't been available at this location and I either have to go to a location 30 minutes away or take a different vehicle. One I was not informed of the modification till I got to the location. Once I received a text 15 minutes prior to my pick up time. Once I got a text several hours before my pick up time. This has been very frustrating.

Tires were not well maintained- one blew and the partner was very worn and roadside recommended replacement- should have been maintained before the trip. Smooth check in process, although very disappointed I was unable to pick up at my preferred location- unsure why UHAUL cannot move vehicles between their sites in the same city.

If you really love what's in your storage unit, do not use this storage facility. U-Haul of Othello Station facility at 6403 MLK JR WAY S EVER!! It's 24hr access to criminals. Several of us including myself storage units were ROBBED of all our belongings.There is no security at this location. John Stevens, the General Manager, is unprofessional and irresponsible. He actually let's the homeless sleep, and come and go as they please. he seems very shady. Some of the workers at the front desk are very confrontational and unprofessional as well. I have never experienced anything like this in my whole life. WOW!! I was told by two men working at the facility, that it was an inside Job for sure, because my lock was not damaged, it was LOCKED BACK after merchandise was stolen. A thief that was curtious enough to lock my storage back up for me. Note: no one has a copy of my keys, but me. What's so ironic is that i found some of my belongings in an storage locker behind my storage with no lock on it. I lifted up the door and what do you know. Some of my things. Crazy, right? The worst part of this is my daughter's ERN along with her ASHES, were inside one of the boxes that were stolen. Who ever did this, I want you to know that this really hurts 😭 You can have anything material of mine, but please bring back my daughter's ERN. That's all I have left of her. I promise I won't press charges. Thank you

I came to get my stuff out of storage with movers on 7.26. There was a different lock on my storage. There were no notes in the account and I was told it was because I had a different lock on it. The lock that was given to me did not fit on the storage so one of your workers, Rob sold me a lock. I had to have a worker drill the lock off while my movers were waiting. Maybe if Rob wasn’t so worried about getting my phone number and asking to take me out, he could have done his job correctly.

Had multiple issues with the rental vehicles from your company. First vehicle had a broken gas line had to return it unload it into another vehicle. Second vehicle would not drive straight it had a crooked front wheel turned right by itself had to return it unload to another vehicle. Third vehicle kept getting warning lights on the dashboard twice the vehicle would overrev requiring us to pull over and stop the oil pressure gage would peg out when I checked the oil it was sludge had to add oil twice along the way. We are very disappointed and exhausted from the trip would like to be compensated for our troubles. Thank you.
