Usually, everything is fantastic at this location - however this recent vehicle rental had several problems that I didn't notice till I started driving - the main ones were that it was a 95 degree weekend and the AC didn't work, and that the mirrors would not stay in position to be of any use driving -which is pretty unsafe.

Truck had broken sun visors, non-working air conditioning, and had to jiggle the gear selector lever every time to get it out of park. Had 93k miles on it. Might be time for a refurb or replacement.

Have a clearly marked "drop off" location for customers. I waited in a 20 minute line for the customer service rep to tell me thank you for dropping the truck and paperwork off. That's all I needed to do. I felt like I wasted a lot of time. In addition, the phone reps were very rude to us when trying to change our drop off location and kept transferring us, putting us on hold and dropping the call. Then when we finally spoke to someone she was quickly able to tell us that trucks cannot be dropped at a different location (which someone could have told us before transferring and giving us the run-around).

I have a negative perception of the vehicle rental from traveling so i was astonished by how friendly and helpful the staff was. We can in and got our moving truck in minutes. Cameron was also helpful in pointing out how we can determine how many gallons of fuel we needed to pump to and personally walked us to show us to where the after hour key drop was located.

Unfortunately I was told that my pick up location would be in Bellview WA, which is 15 minutes from my home. When it came time to pick the trailer up, I did not get the promised e-mail the night before and the trailer did not arrive at the pick up location until 4 hours after I specified my pick up time. The manager at the site was great, but the late start due to lack of the trailer was outside of her control.

The company that I work for has utilized this specific Uhaul facility for several of our events, usually we receive great customer service, that was not the case this time. Multiple employees were rude and rushed through vital information. I was completely unsatisfied with the service I received during this rental period!

I called in a request for truck & arrived within 15 minutes later. The paperwork was ready upon my arrival. I just had to sign/initial a few pages and they had me out of there in less than 10 minutes, that was awesome. The staff was very friendly and professional. Great job MLK store.

The agent who checked me in and out was far from professional and was on the verge of rude. She asked that I initial and sign the ticket, which also indicates the damage on the truck without letting me first inspect the truck. There was no prior damage noted on the ticket. When I requested to look the truck over first she removed my copy, placed it with the rental contract and said I could just mark it on there and leave it in the truck. She further stated, "I know that truck very well. I've been here longer than you". Upon returning the truck she we arrived and the front doors to the location were both propped open. I walked in and was immediately told, "we're closed". When she noticed I was there to return the truck she simply took the keys and said she'd email a receipt. There was zero interaction beyond that and no eye contact or other friendly customer service driven behaviors that I'd expect from U-Haul or frankly any customer facing employee.

Your workers are very rude, My son brought it to Cheryl's attention that she is very rude and have poor customer service skills. The manager also has poor customer service skills, because when is it ok to yell at a customer and tell them common sense tell you what to do.. No the contract tells you what to do. their printer was not working so they emailed me my contract. I have no access to a computer to print it, therefore don't have the instructions.

Manager was knowledgeable and helpful. First guy who assisted us was disengaged and said he couldn't find our reservation, then pawned us off onto another associate. Second person who helped us was friendly and explained everything. Then manager helped finish transaction and explained extra things and features of the truck once it was pulled up. All equipment worked well and was available for rental. Was a little hard to pull the truck out if this location.

The comment is for the U-Haul company itself: I had reserved a cargo van for Saturday, July 30, in order to transport two folding tables from one place to another. After waiting an hour from 9-10 am, I gave up and waited to do it another day. It was a day when the servers were down / slow for U-Haul across the nation. If your system needs upgrading, it would behoove you to do it asap, since people who have limits on their time to move (e.g., the last weekend of the month) were severely stressed. Moving is stressful enough with adding an avoidable problem into the mix. I will never recommend your company to anyone moving on the last weekend of the month until I know that you have solved this problem. It wasn't the first time; when will be the last time that your customers are sorely tried?
