I have to give location a poor rating, because their IT system was broken at there was no "plan B". It was a nightmare to watch the two employees trying to do their best. Only one employee had experience while other was "just there". This meant employee 1 also had to help employee 2, so I was serviced by employee 1 yet customers who came in the door after me, got out the door before me - very frustrating.
Uhaul needs a plan B for it outages.

I reserved 3 dollys through the app when I made the reservation. When I showed up to pick up the truck and additional rental equipment they did not have it. So I had to call other locations myself to figure out if I could rent them from their locations which ended up taking out over and hour out of my rental time. Not including the time I had to take to return the dolly’s to the other location.
Pretty frustrating I was able to reserve when they weren’t available. Also had to extend my rental time the additional hour to make up for lost time. Not to mention the lack of care, help or general quality customer service when I was told they don’t not have the dolly’s at the location.

Ramp on truck is very short, which in turn makes it a very steep incline to get up. Makes it very difficult to load. And kinda a little more difficult to unload. Took me a lot longer to complete my move cause of this reason. I recommend putting a longer ramp on the truck.

I got a surprise $20 added to the bill after it was emailed to me for 'after hours service' which is apparently for dropping the key in the lockbox as described. This wasn't shown to me beforehand, the receipt I had signed had a set amount as the expected cost, then an extra $20 was added with no warning.

If you really love what's in your storage unit, do not use this storage facility. U-Haul of Othello Station facility at 6403 MLK JR WAY S EVER!! It's 24hr access to criminals. Several of us including myself storage units were ROBBED of all our belongings.There is no security at this location. John Stevens, the General Manager, is unprofessional and irresponsible. He actually let's the homeless sleep, and come and go as they please. he seems very shady. Some of the workers at the front desk are very confrontational and unprofessional as well.
I have never experienced anything like this in my whole life. WOW!! I was told by two men working at the facility, that it was an inside Job for sure, because my lock was not damaged, it was LOCKED BACK after merchandise was stolen. A thief that was curtious enough to lock my storage back up for me. Note: no one has a copy of my keys, but me. What's so ironic is that i found some of my belongings in an storage locker behind my storage with no lock on it. I lifted up the door and what do you know. Some of my things. Crazy, right? The worst part of this is my daughter's ERN along with her ASHES, were inside one of the boxes that were stolen. Who ever did this, I want you to know that this really hurts 😭
You can have anything material of mine, but please bring back my daughter's ERN. That's all I have left of her. I promise I won't press charges. Thank you

I came to get my stuff out of storage with movers on 7.26. There was a different lock on my storage. There were no notes in the account and I was told it was because I had a different lock on it. The lock that was given to me did not fit on the storage so one of your workers, Rob sold me a lock. I had to have a worker drill the lock off while my movers were waiting. Maybe if Rob wasn’t so worried about getting my phone number and asking to take me out, he could have done his job correctly.

Had multiple issues with the rental vehicles from your company. First vehicle had a broken gas line had to return it unload it into another vehicle. Second vehicle would not drive straight it had a crooked front wheel turned right by itself had to return it unload to another vehicle. Third vehicle kept getting warning lights on the dashboard twice the vehicle would overrev requiring us to pull over and stop the oil pressure gage would peg out when I checked the oil it was sludge had to add oil twice along the way. We are very disappointed and exhausted from the trip would like to be compensated for our troubles. Thank you.

My U-box was delivered to my home. I was told the day before delivery that the driver would call me 30 minutes prior to arriving but she never did. That was a little frustrating but she did apologize.

Had the storage unit for several years, there were a few issues with payments they did not receive. Once it was sent to collections and I had no idea until I received a letter. They need more staff.
