The attendants were friendly and did all the work of hooking it up and telling everything about the trailer. Great experience. The only thing is that I have to pick up and drop off at the same place. I would think that if I order the trailer at my closest location, then I would pick it up and drop it off there..

Your guy put the trailer on the hitch, connected the safety chains, and plugged in & tested the wiring, then took a picture for his record, but once I drove off into traffic, the trailer started to swerve and bounce around uncontrollably. A guy driving past me hollered at me that the trailer had come off the hitch - turns out that your guy forgot to screw it onto the ball. I was able to reconnect AND screw it down, but it certainly could have turned into a very scary and dangerous situation. Once I got to the next stoplight, I called the dealership back to tell them what happened, to which I was told that I would be comped for the cost of the rental, which I really appreciated.

When coming in for my truck reservation, the employee named Levi who greeted me was outright rude and unprofessional. Not only did he decline saying I had a reservation when I entered, he only started believing me when I showed him my confirmation on my phone. Later, I wanted to add my significant other as an authorized driver as he would be the one driving the u-haul vehicle. He decided that adding in an emergency contact and getting down his information is too much of a hassle with paperwork and to and I quote, “just not get pulled over.” I have no qualms about the service when returning the truck as it was not the same employee, but I would refrain from using this service here again.

Location Rating: 5 stars U-Haul before location involvement: 2 or 3 stars OVERALL RATING: 4 stars Why is U-Haul only asking to rate this location and not the overall experience with U-Haul? While I gave this location 5-stars (mainly due to Michael's excellent service) I would have given my experience with U-Haul prior to this location at best 3-stars. I can't stress strongly enough how much U-Haul messed up in trying to change the pick-up time of my truck from 8am to 10:30am and to a location pretty far away. I had movers meeting me in Bellevue, WA at 9am (at $100 per hour.) For U-Haul to make this change less than a day before my truck pick-up date was unconscionable and totally unprofessional. I was already stressed out over the move and had to get on the phone and spend a long time dealing with it. Apparently your Seattle regional area customer service center was overwhelmed/too busy to receive calls so I was routed to the Portland center. They had to transfer me and I spent a substantial amount of time on hold. It was ridiculous that I had to reach out to U-Haul for personal contact in this type of situation (i.e., major pick-up time and location change.) Fortunately, once I finally got someone in Seattle regional on the line I was able to get (upon my adamant insistence) a 26 foot truck at a somewhat closer location with a pick-up time early enough to meet my movers at 9am. Supposedly (per my account page on U-Haul's website) I was assigned a personal account rep. I never heard from this person, nor could I find their name anywhere listed on my account. U-Haul really, really needs to up its game in this area. NO MAJOR CHANGES to customer pick-up times or locations without a PERSONAL and PROACTIVE call by a customer service rep with MUCH MORE advanced notice. Better yet don't make those kind of changes at all. Michael at your Seatac location really bailed U-Haul overall to make it an overall pretty good experience (4-stars), but it could so easily have been a 5-star overall experience (rather than just for the location). Please do better. Thank you.

The customer service they are good before pick up truck they gave you free days but after pick up they charge you for the free days no promises they make me keep the truck 3 days more for free but after that you charged me. kind of cheating! The truck need new suspension because is not safe at the Highway road. Thanks

I do not know if I will use U-Haul in the future. Although we signed up well in advance, U-Haul delayed our pickup time by 6 hours with very little notice and we were left in a lurch. This was unprofessional and entirely avoidable.

The SeaTac location is too far away for anyone who is looking to move in Seattle City. If the car is unavailable at the booked location, please make sure the replacement car is delivered to the original location instead of making the customer travel to SeaTac.

Michael was the clerk who checked us out. He was very nice and polite and worked to be sure I knew everything. He mentioned the insurance and told us about the drop off. Very nice and a great person to put us at ease since we were in a bind to get a truck right away. thank him for us please!

Never checked my lights. Drove in the dark through the mountains in WA State. So scary. Horrible service from the SeaTac U-haul rental facility. Had to have a technician in Montana come fix the issue.

We changed to this location for drop and were charged 1200.00 more after a rep informed us we would have free miles and days for the inconvenience at the counter of our last rental being charged twice on two cards by a new employee mistake and the rep keeping us at the counter for over 3 hours because the branch and corporate could not figure it out, even calling my bank on speaker and having them go back and forth with corporate etc etc.

Van had dirty windows and a brake light out when we picked it up. Also were not told it ran on E85 flex fuel and were unable to find a gas station which carried it when i went to fill it up before returning the vehicle. Other than that, the vehicle was adequate for our needs and uhaul location convenient to us.

This was a very bad experience for me. I've used this location in the past and never had such low class customer service. I reserved online to pick up at 7am before they open. I get there and there's a young man there working on a truck. He says he can't help because they don't open till 9am. So I called the manager of the location who said that he was off and do nothing he can do and hung up. The wait time for someone in the call center was so long but thankful they were always nice. I know that we need uhaul more than uhaul needs us but the service and online process was NOT convenient or successful.

I rented a pickup truck. Despite there being 3 on the lot when I arrived, I was not able to use any of them. I was given a van that had trash in the door compartments and cupholders. The branch was not communicative and would not return my calls despite me reaching out to the regional management team 3 times during the course of my rental. I will never rent a U Haul from this branch ever again. I rent a lot of vehicles and have never had such a poor customer service experience.

The agent David carter was very very rude . We got there when they opened and we walked in and he said “i will get to you when I get to you “ and we were like ok no worries then he checked us in and told us to return the truck at 6pm , I asked if there was an after hour return . He said no and I asked if we don't finish moving what is our option he replied “ well if you sit the whole day and not do anything you won't be done “ at that point I was really upset and I said are you ok ? You have been very rude to us the moment we got here this is not a good customer service . He replied if you knows the morning I had . Well Mr. I had a rough morning to but you don't see me taking it out on you . I am very upset with the experience I had today and I will make sure to leave you guys a review on every platform . I have rented a truck from This location many time but never again .

This was not my preferred pick up location. In fact, it was about 9 miles from my preferred pick up location, which was located only 1/2 mile from my house. As such, I had to pay for a ride share to get to the designated location, which did not have a customer parking lot. This was a major inconvenience. The staff at this location were, however, very friendly, efficient, and helpful.

The van was not clean, smelled of animal urine, windshield was dirty: no wiper fluid, warning went off that the right rear tire was low when I first started the van. When given the keys the guy said, “out back far right”. Which was confusing, the van was not pulled out, the 19.95 windshield sign was still in the windshield. The van was banged up. Lots of “x”s on it (maybe be 10) marking previous damage. I have used U-Haul in the past, and probably will continue, but never at this location.

Use the orca link rapid transit system to the last stop (just one stop from the airport) and literally walk across the street to the facility! Don't take a taxi or Uber/Lyft as they will charge you $20 for the same $2.25 ride on the mass transit system.

U-haul found me a truck that was convenient when the user ahead of me failed to return the truck I reserved. That is a big deal! It was easy to drop the truck off when I was done with it and the procedure for picking it up was quicker than I have experienced preciously.

This location is busy and only the manager was available. She even admitted she needed to hire more people to every customer in the store at that moment. Then, the manager was going to charge us the first months rent in which I told her we would be getting one month free because that's what it reservation was supposed to include. Customer service even told my husband that this location has a unit available and the first month would be free. She then tells me, "I don't participate in that. Because I'm so small here, I don't participate in that." I went back to the car to tell my husband who was watching our 5 month old who was sleeping. He goes in to talk to her and began to tell her that we were told we would get one month free of storage and that her sign in the front even says one month free rent. The manager says that she has to put that on her sign which is FALSE ADVERTISING! Then the manager finally asked if we had a certificate. My husband grabs the certificate from the car and then the manager says we can get one month free. It is my fault I wasn't prepared with the certificate but also the manager could've asked me and I would've remembered and got it myself. Horrible experience.
