The trailer was filthy and had a huge hole that was duct taped and had a sticker that said “quick claim” on it. To top it off and make matters worse the driver side tire was low so I had to fill it up. Come to find out it had a slow leak which resulted in me stopping to fill it up the entire trip until returned. I called for emergency road service but would’ve delayed my trip by several hours. They should’ve done a better job examine the trailer prior to renting it out. We still need to move more items but due to this experience we won’t use U-Haul again.

Train staff. It seems no one understands how to handle uboxes. At this location there was one person who knew what to do and he was being pulled in too many directions to truly be helpful. This location could use more staff who actually know what to do in general.

No changes. Staff good at explaining the terms and conditions. Not a fan of the Ford cargo van as the seat was high and very hard. Also difficult to maintain a steady speed as you must be firm on the gas to speed up.

The vehicle we rented leaked over night in the rain and created water damage to our boxes and legal paperwork that we will have to pay to replace. That’s the only bad part for the most of it

the truck did not have the fuel stated on the contract. it was less and the check engine light was on when I picked it up. the sales people shrugged it off. I took pictures and I can see now im being charged a fuel surcharge even tho realistically I returned it with more fuel then it had to start with.

Supervisor on duty failed to recognize the need to service customers in lobby. Electing instead to fix a computer issue regarding propane. He was clearly over his head with the problem. One customer left and the others were significantly delayed. 30 minutes passed before customers assisted. No one else in the lobby to assist costumers.

Customer service here in the Roseburg, Or facility wasn't the best in my opinion. The man working the front desk wasn't very nice to me or my helper that went with me to pickup the truck. Be stated he would get to me when he got to me when i arrived in a very disrespectful manner for one. Also it appeared to me the facility was under staffed while their were about 3 people ahead of me. I didn't mind waiting my turn, but the attitude and the tone of voice from the man handling my business was extremely inappropriate and i would not wish that on anybody, further more i think taking a picture of my drivers license with his personal cell phone was outrageous which raise's my suspicions on possible identy theft, i do not know the man taking pics of my ID so now i am on the alert my id could possibly be sold, exchanged, or used in skims to benefit illegal activity. I well not recommend anybody i know to go their due to that particular reason. Thanks and i hope who ever gets this considers my effort in keeping my ID safe and from harms way.

I was told that the last location lied to me about returning it with more gas and then I would get a credit. Completely got the run around. I was told to pick up the truck at one location, and they didn't have it! Had to go on a wild goose chase. Very unprofessional.

Perhaps start the Rental process with a full tank of gas requiring the customer to return with a full tank of gas would be a lot simpler for everyone involve.

While they were slammed with several people returning trucks when I came in, the staff moved quickly and I was able to check out much faster than expected. Didn't even have to go inside as they had the statement emailed.

Trailer wasn't ready, even though it was reserved ahead of time. I received a call while I was in line to get the trailer that it wouldn't be available - pretty late notice. I checked out an alternate trailer. It took 30 minutes to do the check out work. Four hours later I get a call from the manager telling me my trailer was ready for me. Not dependable, incompetent with checkout procedures......typical of what I've experienced elsewhere with the company, but not good business by any standard.

2 days in a row they did not have the equipment I ordered. I had to change my plans, drive an extra 130 miles at my expense. Then I was charged for 12 moving blankets and only received 6.

First, it took almost an hour to get the uhual from Roseburg and the person helping us didn't know what he was doing. We went online and rented a truck ahead of time but when we got there we had to redue the whole process and got mix information throughout that time. We eventually left with a bigger truck than we wanted and costing us more money than we were quoted online. We returned the truck with 3/4 tank of gas which we did not get any credit for overfilling but instead got a $20 charge for not doing something online when dropping off the truck after hours (Which we were never told because the person had no idea what they were doing). After we were called about some scratches on the drive side of the truck next to where someone left a huge dent...this was absolutely ridiculous considering we didn't even drive the truck over a curb (I would expect the truck to have scratches next to a huge dent that was already there and marked...) This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company costing me almost $300 for a simple move that should only have costed at most $200. I do not plan to use your company ever again and will ensure I pass along my experience.

They said we had to bring it back by 8am sunday, only they didn't open until 9am. And no one instructed us on what to do if they weren't open. So we had to leave the keys in the drop box and hope we weren't charged for no one being there when we were told to be there. The parking lot is also so insanely small and there were like 5 other big trucks dropped off at the same time we dropped of ours. So it was almost impossible to park the truck anywhere. Because there wasnt anywhere to park it and impossible to maneuver around the others parked there.

Rented a car dolly, it was in new condition and came with a brake system that worked great coming down several 6% grades. It pulled so well you could almost forget it was behind you. Highly recommended.

Personal that checked me in had to start over a few times, after I had already completed precheck in. He then forgot my furniture blankets and I had to return. The truck had a cigarette butt under the seat as well

General Manager, Andrew Weeks checked me in on 10/23/2019. I specifically ask him to give me Safe Move coverage. After returning the truck the same day, I noticed he had charged me for Safe Move Plus. Last spring I rented a truck from him & he did the same thing. I let it go that time, but having it happen again made me some what suspicious of his business practice.

We've been renting from U-Haul off and on for a year, and even for forty years before this when we've need it with no problems. This time we moved out of our sold home to a temporary home. Then we moved from temporary home to new home ten months later. This last rental was all wrong. The U-Haul reservation person messed up our reservation. We reserved the truck for noon. They had us down for 4 pm. Thank goodness they had a truck available as we had come 3 1/2 hours to get the truck. The truck when we picked it up was not full of fuel like they had in another location when we rented a truck three times before. The pick up location told us not to worry that our credit card would be credited for any fuel owed to us. When we picked up the truck, the fuel tank was 1/4 fuel. We filled it up and had a 1/2 tank left when we dropped it off. Yet, when we dropped the truck off near our home, they said that U-Haul would not credit us for the extra fuel. Also, the 800 number we called to reserve the truck made our reservation for two days when I needed only one day. But, the truck pickup location person said that U-Haul would credited us if we got the truck back before 1:00 the afternoon of next day. The drop off person said this is not the case. We lost money on using U-Haul this last time and we won't use U-Haul ever again.

Facility was excellent. Free moving carts were very useful. Staff is friendly and responsive to requests. Only feedback is replace yellow raised bumps on floor with paint so carts don't get snagged.
