I had to pull the truck out from a tight row of vehicles myself and the truck had a thick layer of ice on the windshield with no scraper to scrape it off with. The online price didn't accurately reflect the total. Not impressed.Ian D.
When I made a reservation I needed a truck, a trailer and an auto transport for a one way move. I know they have a truck shortage so I felt lucky. Uhaul gave me 1 location to start but sent me to 3 different uhauls each 30 and 78+ miles away in different directions. I was told I would be given extra days and miles because of the issues so I agreed. I spoke to Frank in Spokane (drop off) ahead of my drop off and told them about the extended time and mileage given by the Nevada traffic dept. I heard a woman in the back ground telling Frank not to charge us. Well We got charged and they forgot to log in the auto transport when we returned it and now I have to fight with Uhaul corporate to get a refund (a customer action file) for the extra days and on top of it all they double charged me on the Holiday weekend so I have double the money tied up until after Black Friday shopping. They decided they were going to do some construction, whith that being said they said that I could move my stuff to another facility across town and that my rent would go up $15 to $20 for the inconvenience. Not how you treat your customers in my opinion and I will never use or refer anyone to Uhaul. I will say the young people that work at this facility are very nice. We have a U Haul rental unit in Sammamish (3 years) and everything has been fine. Unfortunately the Spokane unit had to be vacated at a time of year when weather conditions on Snoqualmie Pass are uncertain. For us this posed a significant inconvenience. Sarah at the Sunset Highway location in Spokane was very helpful. She appeared to be there by herself in the morning and kept everything going smoothly and quickly. First, this location is dangerous from the standpoint of homeless and transients. Second, u-haul damaged my possessions and vehicle ($5000) with their equipment and then refused responsibility. As we reviewed the accident on security cameras Management acknowledged the accident and acknowledged their mistake. But when turned over to RepWest (U-hauls insurance based in Phoenix) RepWest refused liability. U-haul refused my access to security camera recording and additionally disallowed employees to communicate with me. The local management is solid but corporate management (Jessica Brooks) is corrupt, dishonest and total lack of integrity. I transferred belongings to West Plains Storage in Airway Heights. Verify your trailers and equipment before checking it out. Returned a trailer that I was then accused of not dropping off was told cameras were checked and that I did not drop off. I was then told other locations were Checked and that I did not drop off to any other location either. After much confusion and me then contacting my neighbor who dropped off the trailer for me because I have covid or a cold not sure which. I yelled at my neighbor which could have been avoided had your location verified all you trailers and what could have happened outside of blaming the customer.Dare E.

First I was suppose to pick up uhaul at a downtown location at 0730. The place was supposed to open at 0700. When I arrived at 0725 there was a gentleman sitting in his car and told me it's not open, and he was supposed to pick up his uhaul at 0700 and has been waiting. I called uhaul, the lady on the phone told me the number of the truck I was supposed to get, I found the truck but it was parked behind another truck, which I couldn't move. Then she transferred me to another person who didn't know why this place was not open and kept saying, I don't know why theses people don't show up. She did offer me another truck but I had to drive an additional 15 minutes to pick it up. The guy at this place was stoned out of mind, he had slurred speech. They didn't offer the truck at a discounted price overall a poor experience.DAVID F.

Again, just positive comments. #1. it is a very convenient location, right off the freeway. It is neat, pleasant and well maintained. There are some nice willow trees, cat-tails and grassy areas around. #2. It is clear where you are supposed to return the truck, and there is a sign with instructions about what to do. Soon an employee came out and did the drop-off check routine. He was polite and the process was short and efficient. I think U-Haul is doing a great job. Efficient and organized. The location on Division St in Spokane was rude, disrespectful, and a down right bitch. The Division St location was my first default location but didn't realize it was reassigned to the Airport location. Nice folks there. Will never darken the doors of Division St near Gonzaga University. You should pull your agreement with this location.Jim M.

I answered yes to the questions above, because the locations where I picked up the equipment were the issues that I have. Those people were great and the equipment was clean and well-maintained. What I have a problem with an extreme problem is with corporate. On two different occasions we were given reservations for a vehicle that upon arrival at the location had already been reserved days earlier. I was forced to try to find lodging and spend an extra night in Seattle area. Saturday night a local U-Haul representative Reserve me a vehicle in Buckley Washington. Upon arrival at that location I found out that it was closed and would not open again until Tuesday. So I had to find another alternative location which I found down the street. And was able to rent a vehicle there. I was not aware or even made aware that the first location was supposed to be a mobile pickup. Very dissatisfied with the attention to detail from your representatives on the go U-Haul line. After this latest experience I don't know if I could ever in good faith I suggest you to any of my friends or relatives our rent from youChristopher T.

Pretty amazing facility and helpful staff. Great special rate on small locker. My only complaint is that I wanted to rent the plastic bins for a few weeks to help me with my move, but when I went into the store, the customer service rep couldn't figure out how to rent them. He called his manager, and she told him the steps but he still couldn't do it. So, after waiting at the counter for 15 minutes, I left emptyhanded. Nice enough young guy.
