Chloe AIt had some garbage, like cans and paper in the trailer and a lot of dirt from mud or wood. Simply not close to be clean. Not enough employee; it took almost 60 minutes for a trailer pickup which was already reserved through the application. Too much junk in the location process within the app; what should take 2 minutes, takes about 10 minutes.

Donc, je trouve ca très médiocre comme service.

I didn’t have time to go back to the counter to contest it and I didn’t want to have a penalty when I brought it back so I filled it to 3/4, but I know I overpaid gas because of that and I feel I was taken advantage of.
EMILE BLorsque je suis arrivé à destination pour mon chargement, j'ai remarqué que le coffre était remplt de morceaux de vitres cassés. J'ai du en enlever plusieurs pour ne pas abimer mes plancjes de bois. Lorsque j'ai retourné la camionette a Uhaul, j'ai avisé un employé du problême et il ne m'a même pas répondu. Les employés ne font pas leur travail et ne prennent pas leurs responsabilités. Ils auraient du nettoyer la camionette avant de la donner a un client. Surtout avec des la vitre casséé!

Mathieu LCheck in procedure is way too long. There was only one customer in line before me and one at the desk, and it took an hour from when I parked to the moment I left with the trailer. It took almost 30 min to clear the two customers before me. Then I was assigned one trailer but the attendant gave me another because of some problem with the first one. He then told me to indicate the change to the desk clerk, who told me everything was ok. So a very long check in. You have to think of a way to make this a 5 min task. I had an online reservation all filled up and it took 10 min to clear me. Also when I reserved online the site didn't specify if the coupler is 1 7/8" or 2" saying both would do. But all couplers are 2" so you should clarify that since it's not safe to drive with a smaller ball.
FRANCOIS QHorrible experience: rented a truck for a few hours the day of my moving out, ended up loading the truck and afterwords, the truck didn’t start back and had to wait 3hours before maintenance came to boost the truck. Horrible service, and would not recommend U-Haul to anyone.

richard m | Overall ExperiencePersonnel wasn't helpful, they were not aiming to receive the equipment back even when we arrived before the closing time. The guy in the counter asked me to find someone else in the parking lot but the two or three workers in the lot told me to go back to the counter. Once I went back to the counter, the guy closed the office. They bounced us around 15 minutes until I was told by the guy who closed the door to drop the key into the box and complete the return by myself in the app.

ALEXANDRE PI had a problem with the lights connection, a popped fuse it turned out. The employee extended his help and helped me resolve the issue, even providing an extra fuse. Excellent support! As for the trailer, it was the old ones with the slide up doors - the new one with ramps are much better. They don ́t get stuck and help with the ramp
YVAN Bthey charged us an extra $10 for gas because we did not reach the line that was written on the paper but rather the picture we took as we got in the van. The clerk had said to just take pictures. We did when we saw it was not the same level as the document. The picture had a time stamp as we left the lot. J'ai terminé ma location 5 jours avant la date et aucune remise pour le temps non utilisé. Comme je l'ai laissé libre vous pouvez le relouer immédiatement, donc une double location. Je trouve que ce n'est pas du bon service à la clientèle et de l'abus de votre part. En agissant de cette façon vous contrevenez à la protection du consommateur.

VLADO DWhen i made my first reservation #25571918, the Employe in the anjou location checked in the system to see if a truck was available in Montréal north, in the system they had a truck for me there, but in reality they had no truck available at this location. So i waited an hour for nothing at that location. Thankfully they had à truck at the other location and your personnel was great. By the way, i wasn't the only one Who had this problem in mtl north yesterday, the waiting line was up to the door to get à truck and people had reservations

PIERRE MI had a great experience with both the rental vehicle and the U-Haul staff—everything was smooth and professional. However, my experience with the movers hired through U-Haul’s partners was extremely disappointing. I clearly communicated the details of my move with the moving company’s manager, including the size and fragility of my items and the need for two experienced movers. He assured me that qualified movers would arrive on time and even mentioned that he would be one of them. However, after a 30-minute delay, only one mover showed up—a very young man, waiting for his colleague. After another 15 minutes, the second mover arrived, but neither of them seemed prepared or experienced for the job. I also noticed that one of them had long nail extensions, which made it difficult to safely handle large, fragile items. Concerned about this, I called the manager again, only to be told, “If you’re not happy, you can cancel.” Given that I had already agreed to pay $166 for two hours, I refused to proceed under these circumstances. Left with no real choice, I had to cancel. By then, it was too late to find another mover, and I had to complete the move myself with a friend. Despite this, I was still charged for the moving service I never received. I am requesting a full refund and hope U-Haul will take action to ensure that customers can rely on the movers listed through your platform. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response. Best regards,
MOHAMMAD HFine some better employees very rude and polite. No respect employs there the manager very nice but he wasn’t there when I come to pick up last time the trailer. Before service was much better, but not anymore. It’s Ben 3-4 times when I pick up the trade and that location never clean and always problem with the light most of the time I need to hook up myself and they can in the end to take a picture and to check everything working well, but there is a lot of issue with the light and cleaning equipment from inside

I was forced to take a bigger unit after making a reservation online which has not been respected by the employees and blamed the system when I had my proof. Ended up costing me way more on the long run. I could not change for a smaller unit later because it would be time consuming and i had heavy stuff. At least if there was a price adjustments offered for all those months but no, many increases of course.. if I ever need a storage again I will not go back there nor recommend to anyone.

When trying to reach the location, i kept getting transferred to the central. The people I spoke to (3 people at 3 different times) could not reach the Cremazie location either. No one at the location was logged onto the chat even though it was during hours of operation. It took me over 2.5 hours of calling and waiting to finally be able to upload my ID which was already on file (the system wouldn’t recognize it) and process payment. I received no help from anyone. Then when I got to the location, a padlock was in the locker I had rented. I had to wait in line in order to get someone to give me access to my new unit. (I was transferring from a large unit to a smaller unit. I’ve been a customer at this location for 13 months.) Not to mention I was provided with the managers email address in order to request help and he never responded to my email. Overall, below average service. It’s disappointing.

When I came to the facility on the moving day I was told that the unit I booked is not available and I can only get a smaller one (5' x 5 or 5' x 8'). I chose a 5' x 8' one, finalized the deal and went to check the unit to find out that it has a massive concrete pillar right in the centre (it's part of the building that just happened to be inside the unit that I was given). The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, but I would not recommend anyone using U-Haul storage services because of poor reliability. Everything could have been handled in advance by a simple phone call.

De plus, nous avons parlé à un employé qui ne nous a pas vraiment accompagner dès le début, info de base mais comme elle savait que c’était notre première visite, elle aurait dû nous dire que l’on devrait passer au bureau récupérer un cadenas puisqu’une fois arrivée au locker c’était barré, pas de service avec lintercom pour joindre un employé, j’ai dû retourner au bureau à l’entrée, pas d’employé dans le bureau d’entrée, bref vraiment pas efficace et adéquat. Déception pour un premier contact.

Nathalie L | Overall ExperienceThe staff are fairly rude to customers. The organization of the drop off and move out is chaotic and un-managed. Granted its busy during peak times of the month there is still a level of customer service required when people are spending a lot of money with your company, even if they aren't. In a time when money is tight for most people and they are spending less, I would imagine that customer retention is high on the priority list for most if not all companies. I will not be renting trucks with U-haul any longer nor storing anything in their facilities.There are many companies that would be happy to have the business. By the way this is my fourth rental this year, one of them being for a cross provincial move. I have been left with a bad taste from my experiences at this point and will be sharing my experiences with friends, family and public. This review will also be copy and pasted to various U-haul outlets in particular the storage facility, and also google.
