I had to make a stop into your York St location to pick up moving blankets as the nice lady at the Adelaide St location didn’t have any in stock. And I’m having trouble getting a receipt for the transaction as she said it wb provided at the drop off but we haven’t been able to get one yet (time wasted & frustrating as U-Haul customer service takes forever to answer once they put you on hold - like 25 minutes yesterday on my moving day)!!!

Upon dropping the vehicle off, I could not get a code sent to me in order to do my check out. I made sure that I was receiving data and internet and I was for anything else, so this must have been your company's issue. I went inside to ask for help, and the attendant was rude and totally unfriendly. She just looked at me and asked me for the key. She then said I would receive an email shortly. I went back to the truck waiting. After 10 mins, I walked back into the Ultramar and told the attendant that I had not received an email. She looked at me with a disgusted look and said, "no email, guy coming". Ok, would have been nice to know that. I then asked how long and her reply was "Oh, 30 mins or more." What? I couldn't believe it. I then decided to call head office and I spoke with a great agent named Kirby. She was awesome! She said as long as I had the pictures of the inside dash to show mileage and gas that I was ok to leave since I had given attendant the key. Moving can be a very frustrating thing, let alone having to deal with incompetent individuals who really don't care about performing services for UHaul. I get it that they are just the location to pick up or drop off but some training on your services and how they work would be certainly beneficial.

It seemed that my dropping off the truck was an inconvenience to the staff person who was on the phone and did not appreciate being interrupted. The store is dark and not inviting.

The person had a sign on the door that said, back in 10 mins. Waited over 1/2 hour to return truck. Just took key without inspecting truck or verifying mileage or gas level. I called support and let them know I returned the truck as I wasn’t confident the truck was being reported as returned.

Better communication regarding check-in. Paperless is great, but wasn't aware, and waited awhile for a 'phone call' not understanding what was going on. Also, asked attendant if the 1 bag of moving blankets I was handed contained all 12, received confirmation, but, only 6 in the bag. Not a big deal, we managed, but attendant should be aware.

The location and folks that worked there were super friendly and helpful. It was a very easy process to get truck, and the lady behind the counter was super helpful when I returned the truck. All in all it was a good experience. I would use and recommend this location.

Clerk refused to check my vehicle in at 1:30 pm on a Saturday for a 1 day rental. Location was not busy, no other vehicles or customers were in sight. Also took my paperwork and wouldn't return it . As a result , this location did not enter the return of the vehicle until Monday morning and I was charged for additional days. Totally unprofessional and underhanded business practices here.
