This is my first experience with uhaul. The first location they set me up with was closed that day. So I had to go to another location in another city to get one. Then the guy didn't explain anything expect where to put the key. The truck was delivered to the wrong location by us (so thats my fault) but it was a uhaul facility right around the corner from the correct location. I received a call at work that I had to come get the truck and return it to the right location. So I left work and did that. The gentleman then told me the checkout process to drop the truck off which I was never even told that needed to be done. He said to take pictures to send in. Well when I started the checkout process apparently you can't take the pictures and then upload them. I had to by right by the truck for that. But again I had left work and had to get back asap. So I have the photos if you need them. This was just not a good first experience for me.brandie C.

The truck was there ave ready to go for is as scheduled. Brought it back after use and the charges Were exactly what they said it would be. It was just a but strange that the gas tank was only at 2/3 full when we got it, so trying to get it to 2/3 again afterward was a tiny bit challenging coupled with a lot of guesswork. Universal Rent All is a great place to do business with, they treat the customer well and had the truck ready to go for me first thing in the morning. The truck needed to have the wheels balanced, but other than that it ran fine and worked as needed. I will be doing business with Universal in the future as they are great to work with.Brandon E.

I made a reservation online and still had to wait. When we arrived, they stated it was still out and they had not contacted the other renter, who was supposed to have it back by my reservation time. He happened to come in while we were waiting. They then handed us the keys directly from him. When we asked if they were going to clean the truck first, they stated they didn't do that. It was only when we said we were going to cancel the reservation that they went out and wiped it down, but even then had a bad attitude and made it very apparent that we were being a bother by asking for this simple task, which should be done anyway.Elizabeth T.

Have the 2 additional requirements (ie passport, etc) to be done BEFORE pick up. Mobile pick up seemed pointless while I stood there trying to figure and fill all that out.Kelsi P.
The clearfield location was great, the 1501 n main in layton was a joke. Some dude named pepe left a sign on the door, and no one was there to help with my original reservation, called him , said he would be right there then never showed up and wasted my time, pepe should be firedMike W.

Returned the truck back at correct address and time To find out that I'm getting accused for not returning the truck and owners are excused me off stealing For a company in that location with as much high price products does not have a security camera to protect themselves from thief to protecting their customers is beyond me Dealing with this company at this location and dealing with the cops as made a lot of stress The young man with the dark hair is very unpleasant and rude to work with I will never request this company Or location to anyone Never in my life have a ever been treated like a thief until I used this company at this location They need to update and make their company customer friendly with security support to protect themselves of course and their customersLISA C.

Not stay with a word amount of gas, it's almost impossible to put gas in to the same amount when it's on a funky amount. I always end up putting more in than i started with because the gage doesn't reflect right amount while filing and of course you don't get reimbursed or creditTYLER L.

apparently because i called in and talked to a human i was required to do a mobile pick up for the rental truck. this was a freaking joke. I was not told that this was going to be a mobile pick up. i expected there to be someone there to talk to when picking up the truck. luckily there was a guy still at the shop and able to help me. but i still didn't have a appliance dolly like i had requested. why in the world would you send me to a smaller location that wasn't going to be open when i got there and set up a time to pick up the truck at the same time the shop was closing? how am i supposed to know how to manage the process of all that needs to happen for a mobile pick up when the sales lady i talked to didn't tell me any of this? not to mention, there was a location with in 2 miles of the location i got assigned that was open later than i needed to pick up that had everything i needed and i still ended up going there to get the supplies i needed anyways. I was very happy with the equipment that i used. i was not happy at all with your companies new process of doing things with mobile check in. because of that i would not tell anyone to work with your company.Dane L.

The truck had a tire that had a 3 Inc cut I called them and was told I didn't rent from them I had proof but they were rude and the truck was so dirty brown liquid running down dash and doors. We had to wait 4 hrs to get tire. The truck was really bad and unsafe. This is the 3ed time I have rented from uhaul in the last several months and this was the worst . We'll never return to this location. I will not stop telling people not to rent uhauls after this trip. Take this truck off the road and don't allow this location to ever rent uhauls again.Susan W.

The equipment, trailers, trucks at every location when they come come should be worked on and maintained every time, fixing and repairing dents and scrapes, etc. And documented inappropriate computer system for the whole nation to see along with photo evidence instead of using a sticker system, even to use a tablet reassuring customers that "yes that sent or bump, etc is documented right her with a picture"KENNETH F.

My original reservation confirmation stated my pick up was in Ogden Utah of of 34th and Wall Avenue. The employees there, specifically the manager, was a bitch about me being in the wrong place, even after her showing my confirmation. Makes me never want to use U-Haul again. The customer service at this location was extremely professional, and courteous. The only discrepancy that we had was the fact that the staff was notified of the that our trailer had a roof leak and caused water damage to half of our belongings. Upon delivery of the equipment I opened the trailer door and showed the employee where water was still inside the trailer. The damage however was not annotated and reported to U-Haul. I had to personally call customer service and report the damage myself in order to flag the equipment to prevent future customers from sustaining damage to their personal belongings.Joseph A.
