The truck was clean, but it didn't run well. The check engine light was on, the gas needle didn't work. I rent from them often. This was the first time, I had an issue. Over all best place to rent a uhaul from. Great people and, customer service.CLARISSA J.

Was dropped off at 355 university Atlanta GA. It was the 3rd place they sent us too. We said Douglasville not 26 miles out of the way in the middle of the getto.. I don't care who you are.. You would of been scared too.. Omg! Are you kidding me. We will not pay the extra fee for that area.. If I had kids with me... It was a night mare very unhappy with the end of our tripROBERT W.
the number they have on uhaul and on google is disconnected. I had no directions have how to drop off the stuff and had to direct myself. there was no way to lock up the dolly. so if it got lost or stolen it would be on the customer, but the company did not provide the details. it seems I was charged more than my actually payment. however, i do not know because after 4 calls, I waited two hours to speak to someone about my receipt on the customer service line and no one ever answeredangelic K.

Lock was so messed up that customer service had to give me a different truck. The truck back door lock was also broken, so the entire duration of our time with it our belongings were unsecured in the back.Tiara A.

The phone number on the website is incorrect for this location. I have called (404) 792 - 4912 numerous times and the number is disconnected. I picked up the truck at University Emission, 355 University Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. Once I arrived the representative was really nice, stated I had to take the 20' truck and not the 15' that I reserved online because it was going out of state. He did not do a walk through with me nor did he give me the paper with picture of truck for you to mark/note damages on the truck. From the emissions building, he pointed out the 20' truck and I noticed the skirt to the truck was damaged. I said to him there is damage to the truck. He said yes, it is already in your contract. You can review it online. I even bought the insurance just in case. Of course, in the rush I was in I did not take pictures or videos because I took his words as good faith. If you are going to rent please video and take pictures of everything. CYA!!! Also, there was heavy rain the day I rented the truck and the roof leaked causing my boxes, rugs and leather furniture to be soaked. This has been the worst experience ever with U-haul at the 355 University Ave location.Oil M.

I picked up the u-haul truck before the business hours, 7am. I called the day before, and the guy who answered was familiar with my reservation and assured me a truck was reserved. I was able to use the app to pick up with no issue at all. A u-haul rep did call my alternate contact, who needed to be available to pick up the phone, in order to get the key out of the lockbox. The truck was as clean as I would expect for a u-haul.Nikita F.

The mobile pick up was not straight forward. It is long and convoluted. All information you need should be done when the reservation is done. The extra step of having someone verify my identity is a shot in the dark. People do not answer spam calls so it to several call to several people to have it verified. If you have my liscense and credit card that should be enough. Took over an hour on this processLayne F.

I originally was scheduled to pick up at another location and at the last minute I was in route to pick up the trailer when I received a call indicating the trailer was not available. This was a horrible experience since I was not from the area and when I asked for assistance the man said he could not help me, I had to call the 1800 number. When I was sent to another location with a trailer available it was across town during high traffic with only 30 min till closing. Super stressful since we were scheduled to travel the following day. Due to this experience you would of thought some kind of call could have been done sooner with assistance stating sorry for the inconvenience but we have booked this for you, but instead I receive no help.Helen A.

I think that the price was too high for a rental for 4 hours and then he charged me $20.00 extra dollars for not filling the truck back up. It would have been cheaper to just put gas in it. The location is not all that safe, but I think that they need a better package deal for a 4 or 6 hour rental. Nice vehicle but very expensive.Virginia S.

I showed up at my original reservation location and the store owner wasn't there. This was 20 Miles from my house and had been dropped off by Uber. Ended up walking a mile and found another uhaul but my price ended up going $300 because of your error. So disappointed in uhaul and the service the owner of university Emission saved me by having a uhaul but having to pay so much extra was horrible for my family budget.HUNTER M.

I asked him if the truck I had was the â€œ19.95â€ truck and he lied and said yes. I put a $70 deposit down and in the end was charged $85 for 34 miles. Then on top of that when I returned the truck that is when I saw the actual â€œ19.95â€ trucks on the lot with my own eyes. And those trucks was smaller than the one he gave me. Which means he lied to get some extra money out of me. Anywho, I would never go there again not would I recommend it.Jazmin J.

I went sent to three places Because the lockbox was broken at the first, then I was sent to a Second location that did not have the right size truck, and then I was finally sent to university where the keys were switched in the boxes and I had to wait on an employee to sort it out. Also, my card was charged the first time even though I never picked up the truck and Now I have to wait 5 business days for a refund of almost $100. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had and I will be calling and demanding some compensation or refund because I wasted three hours figuring this mess that U-Haul created and it completely ruined my scheduled move in with my apartment in which I had only a small window to use a loading dock. You will never receive my patronage again.Julianna S.
