I asked him if the truck I had was the â€œ19.95â€ truck and he lied and said yes. I put a $70 deposit down and in the end was charged $85 for 34 miles. Then on top of that when I returned the truck that is when I saw the actual â€œ19.95â€ trucks on the lot with my own eyes. And those trucks was smaller than the one he gave me. Which means he lied to get some extra money out of me. Anywho, I would never go there again not would I recommend it.Jazmin J.

I went sent to three places Because the lockbox was broken at the first, then I was sent to a Second location that did not have the right size truck, and then I was finally sent to university where the keys were switched in the boxes and I had to wait on an employee to sort it out. Also, my card was charged the first time even though I never picked up the truck and Now I have to wait 5 business days for a refund of almost $100. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had and I will be calling and demanding some compensation or refund because I wasted three hours figuring this mess that U-Haul created and it completely ruined my scheduled move in with my apartment in which I had only a small window to use a loading dock. This is the second time I have used UHaul. And for the second time I have had issues. I rented the unit from a location that was just down the road from my house. And Uhaul assigned a location th at was three cities away from me. So I called anadter waiting on the phone for almost 45 minutes they are finally able to locate me a truck 5 miles away. So I pick up the truck and their o line pick up system times out so again I have to call the. To pick up the truck. Finally I finish with my truck and return it amazingly their systems works. When it gives me my bill they want to charge me 120. 00 dollars . Which make no mathematical sence. I still have not received a call from uhaul. If you are considering using them DON'T spent the extra money and use a more reliable service.Travis S.

It seems that "recommend this location to a friend" isn't really application, since the location can be changed by UHaul whenever. I initially reserved my truck at a different location and it was changed to this location just a couple days before my move. How can I recommend a location to a friend if my friend cannot be sure to get that actual location?Brad E.

The truck had a flat front tire and the gas light on upon receiving it. I filled the tire and added gas but the tire went low and the steering was loose and all together felt dangerous driving. DO NOT USE THAT TRUCK TILL FIXEDTHOMAS S.

This was not my original pickup location. The truck was not available at my original location. Finally located one at the University site.Mark H.
The Operation Manager, George, at this facility was horrible. The customer service that I received was unprofessional and it cost me hundreds of dollars in loss wages. The facility was not clean and unorganized. In fact, no one was there during the hours of operation and it took 30+ minutes to get in contact with George. As a result, my husband had to attach the car tow to the Uhaul truck. I know that this is a liability issue and it was very unprofessional. And upon the return of the Uhaul, the device that lowers the tow to the truck fell off, putting my family at a major risk of a collision/accident on the highway. I would never recommend this location NOR will use Uhaul services for any future moves.Takerra J.

The check-in process was a little glitchy with uploading my passport picture. I was asked to submit it 4 different times which significantly extended the time I spent trying to rent the van. Otherwise, everything was great and the equipment was very nice! Would recommend the pick up site but not the self check-in processKelsi E.

This pickup location is also an emission station. I had to wait until the employees assisted the emission customers. I had to go to the parts store twice because I did not have trailer hook up or adapter for lights. There were 12 of us all women so the employees could have told us everything that we needed on the first trip. This and the distract manager not calling back immediately to authorize the transaction delayed our trip 1.5 hours. I also asked the distract manager when was I supposed to return the trailer and he said anytime before 4pm on Saturday May25th. I arrived at the university location at 2;20 on 5/25 and was told that I was supposed to have had it there at 10:45 am that morning. I was charged for an extra day. I did not feel that this was fair because I was told incorrect information by the distract manager. Since this location was closed when I arrived, I was told to return to Sheldon Ave location. I planned ahead and booked my reservation online to save time and to insure hassle free this experience was the worst I ever had at a so called place of business First of all the Uhaul manager was not on site to assist me with my rental So the young man doing the emissions phoned him for me to talk to him he informed me that he was blocked out the system and there was nothing he could do to assist me and I needed to call the 1800 number I would like to say they was very professional and helpful and making sure I got the truck I reserved on line I will never ever rent a truck from this location againVanessa D.

The truck tire pressure was low when we received the truck. I did not have the time nor felt the responsibility to take care of this. Also, the gas tank was close to empty when we picked it up, which was inconvenient and left us concerned that we would run out of gas. It would have been more convenient to start the trip with a full tank and then just replace the gas we used. It seems whoever manages this property is not maintaining the overall function of the vehicles. Not to mention the tailgate of the truck bed popped off when we closed it, like closing any other truck bed. This left us feeling uncertain of it's secutiy in transporting our supplies. No gate on a truck should just pop off like that.Nobie M.

Picking up the uhaul, the app was not working. The man had to call and do it manually. I dropped off my uhaul within the 24 hour time frame and received numerous calls saying it had not been returned. This location was very hard to find. The trucks were on an open lot and the employee was inside of the emissions place. The truck that I received smelled like smoke and the headlights were not working properly. I called to ask if I could switch trucks and the employee informed me that he had already left and there's nothing he could do. When reserving this truck, I initially wanted to use it for 3 hours. The employee told me that he was leaving for the night and that I could return it the next day with no charge because no one would be there to receive the truck later that night. However, my card was charged for two days and they have charged me for 73 miles when I did not go pass 10. Please take a picture of the meter or mileage before you leave, inspect the truck, and ask for a receipt. Get a good description of the employees face because there are different guys that work here. The employees at this location are crooks. This was my first time having to move but I'm sure my next time, I will not be using u-haul specifically this location!!!!Johna B.
