You promote the rental as 19.95 per day and I was charged $85 plus fees. I would like this corrected. Upon returning there was an issue with purchasing gas in the Homestead area, filling up was not an option.

I did not want to receive the first equipment because it was extremely dirty and full of dirt inside and the second and less dirty I had to pay $ 25 to clean the oil stains that the previous client left on the floor, a disaster.

I waited in line for 30 minutes. When I got to the register, the associate told me that , as per her supervisor, at this location it was mandatory for me to purchase the insurance. I explained to her that I had done everything online the night before, including the checkout. In other words, I had submitted my I.D., chosen my insurance option, confirmed my pick up location & time, and paid with my credit card all online. The cashier insisted that she need my ID (understandable), but also my credit card and mandated that I pay and extra $20 for insurance or they wouldn't give me the vehicle. While I was getting my papers, she took another UHaul rental customer. As a result, I had to wait in line AGAIN until she completed his transaction. I pleaded with her that I had been waiting for 30 minutes, and was about to miss my appointment for picking up the item for which I had rented the truck in the first place. Her response to me was, "That's not my problem. You left", referencing the fact that I had to go back to my vehicle to get the documents she requested. After waiting in line a second time, I had less than 3 minutes to make it to my appointment. In short, I am very dissatisfied with my experience at this location. I have used UHaul before and probably will use them again in the future. But I will never do business at this location again. Also, I will be looking closely at my bank statement to make sure that I wasn't charged twice for the vehicle!

I for now on will recommend this U-Haul Rental Dealership over any Official U-Haul Rental Dealership I've ever used in South Florida ever. The Attendant was so nice, kind, and courteous. The equipment was clean, gassed up fully, the driving of the truck was No Problems at all, the truck was adequately maintained for a safe and complete drive mission, Thank You For Being So Kind, Honest and Professional. Too many hidden or extra charges... I can't dispute the mileage but I don't believe I drive that much. Either way I expected to pay $30 and ended up paying $54

To begin with I was handed a piece of paper and told to sign without even having seen the truck I was about to receive. When I asked to check the mileage and the condition of the truck before signing I was giving an attitude. Not to mention the 35 minutes I had to wait while consumers purchased gas and other grocery items. Then when I finally sat in the truck and started it the check engine sign was on. Luckily the side mirrors were pushed in so I had to dismount to prop them open. I say luckily because at this point I realized that there was a cat underneath the wheel well of the truck. I informed the attendant who didn't seem surprised at all and offered me a stick so that I could lay on the floor and try to remove the cat myself. Given the current state of the world you can imagine how much stress and aggravation this caused me.If you check your records you'll see just how many times I have had to rent a truck this month. I have many future projects but I don't for see ever renting a U-Haul again. Thank you for allowing me to express my concerns I wish you well and hope you can rectify the situation.

Oil, dirt, screws and bolts, sticks, leafs etc on the floor of the trailer. My feet kept slipping and I almost dropped the motorcycle due to the oil. The woman who hooked the trailer up to my truck does not know what she is doing and as I pulled out on to the main street, the trailer came loose from my truck.

I was advised all the process would be thru my phone, but when I submitted the payment I had to go inside the gas station store with this pandemic I was trying to avoid social contact but I was forced by your system, then this store didn't accept credit card payment, it was with the same card that is debit too but I didn't want to put my PIN, the gas fueling, same thing, not credit card and pay inside with a PIN, this store is not reliable, specially with this COVID 19.

First, the location I had agreed to drop off the truck and car hauler was a gas station. The gas station staff was rude as they asked me to park the car hauler in a parking spot and remove it from the truck and park the truck in a separate parking space. The parking spots were small and the staff left me by myself to park it without them proving assistance. I told the guy that parking it were he was asking me to park was difficult but he said to take my time and go back inside the gas station when I got it done. He walked away and didn't provide any assistance. After finally getting this done I went inside to let him know it was done and he said everything was good to go. I asked for a receipt and he said I would get an email. I never got the email. I called U-Haul customer service to ask for the receipt and was informed they changed the location and that I was supposed to take the truck somewhere else. I had to wait about an hour to speak to someone. They said they would send someone to the gas station to inspect the truck and then they would send me an email with the receipt. I am still waiting for the receipt and when I call I have to wait for ever to get someone on the line. I have not been able to talk to anyone to provide me a receipt.

I had to trade the reserved truck out for another one that had to be picked up 50 miles out of the way. Apparently something was wrong with the transmission. Maybe ensuring that there aren't engine problems before issuing it out to customers could be worked at this location.

There is no customer service. There was no one available to help so I had to unhitch and move the equipment and put it in a very tight space by hand. There wasn't adequate room to make the drop of in the space that the person required I park it. I will never rent from this location again.

Ramón, the owner of the place is very responsible in his work. He personally cares that the client is very well attended and that the rented vehicle or trailer is in the best cleaning and security conditions. In my case, I rented a enclosed trailer, and Ramón personally took care that the coupling with my car was perfectly safe. I recommend this place for rent from U Haul.

Not properly trained on how to book a rental through Wheels. We rent plenty of trucks and its never an issue but unfortunately the employees at this location and it took over 2 hours to get the rental straightened out. I dont have the time to do this every time.

Truck clean over all, but not well maintained this was truck #2186 with Arizona plate my second truck rented in one week, but I will return and recommend other to this location, and I will be renting another truck in another week. This location manager & personel are not only rude and disrespectful they are very confrontational and unprofessional. This was the place that from the initial rental process the truck had to be dropped at. When I got there they refused to take the truck. And the manager said that he would take the truck out of his business address and will leave the keys on for the truck to be impounded. I have pictures to proof that he actually did drive the truck out to leave on the road. I just followed instruction given by u haul when I call to report of having issues with the dropping off . I even had to call policy to file a report. I am so overwhelmed with the terrible service I was provided in this place that I would not recommend anyone to come to this place. However now I just receive an additional bill for $70 something dollars this is unbelievable.

Box trucks should have cameras installed. It's very difficult to drive in reverse. Was not able to see anything at all. Just thinking about the safety of kids.

Take the time to check the inside of the trailer to make sure it is clean for the customer. The trailer I picked up was filthy!! Dirty blankets and old food was left in the trailer like If there was someone camping out in it . Very embarrassing to pull up To a clients house and have them see and smell something like that . Horrible! I will never ever rent a trailer from that location complete waste of time and money.

Beatriz the clerk was very rude upon rental we advised our vehicle was an chevy equinox she and none of her co workers could spell after 3 verbal attempts had to write it down,upon return I was never asked form of payment she charged as she pleased and rudly tild me to leave. I am not very happy with the way I was treated at this location, had to call 800 number to get matter resolved. Beatriz needs customer service training on how to handle custoner satisfaction and customer service skills.

There should be someone working solely for U-Haul matters. The lady that prepares the sandwiches for Subway is the one in charge to process the U-Haul orders. She was finishing up with a client and she immediately helped, however, I don't want to imagine when she's busy doing sandwiches and someone needs help with U-Haul.

Service was horrible, the lady attending had me waiting 3 hrs + AND HAD THE ODASITY TO Speak bad about people and laugh. There was a man sleeping in back of the truck who jumped out when my husband stopped at a red light! I tell u worst experience EEEEVER!

This truck was in horrific condition. The alignment is off and the steering wheel was crooked which made it horribly hard to drive. You could drive past 40 miles per hour or the truck would zigzag on the road. A 3 hour trip took me 6hrs due to the horrifying truck on top of that called customer service 3 times and for some reason they insisted that road side assistance needed to handle this situation...I was on hold for road side assistance for 2 hours no one even came to the phone. I gave up. I will definitely never us you guys again. I feared for my life when driving this truck. I suggest you service your vehicles and test drive them on the highway to make sure no one goes thru what I just went through.
