I used the vehicle for an hour and only drove 3 miles, yet they charged me for 4 gallons of fuel. I believe this is an abuse, and all the convenience of being able to quickly rent a unit makes one reconsider whether they would return, especially since there was no one available to audit the unit.

Everything was just excellent . Only one thing , i have orderd trolley for fridge move , and it was not avialable. They gave me another one, not so comfy for fridge. But other experience was just excellent!!!! Recomend

Horrible location and customer service. The cargo van was extremely dirty and sticky. I also charged for more miles than I did, and the price was never adjusted.

Defective tire - leaking roof - they knew about the tire for the last few months (screw in the front drivers side) but said they aren't worried. Dirty cab - other peoples track from last rental. Unfriendly response to the issues.

Truck was absolutely filthy. I took pictures if you want to see. Hasn't been cleaned in years. Car hair all over the cab. I reserved a furniture dolly on the website but they don't carry them. Said I could drive to another uhaul location to get. That's not right. They did refund that though but I needed the furniture dolly. I had to wait a while to get checked in. There were 2 associates working with one customer for a while.

Google navigation took me close, but I couldn't find it for a while. Otherwise a generally great experience. Excellent that they were open until midnight so I was able to rent late and return same day. Super convenient compared to the usual uhaul rental locations

This review covers my experience with the staff at location on Sample Road, Pompano Beach, NOT the vehicle pick up location at 9834 Sandalfoot Blvd, Boca Raton. The staff at Pompano Beach was on training and was unbelievably still below acceptable level in terms of customer service and computer keyboard competency. Lastly it was impossible to do the review in order to get the $5.50 handling fee refund, it looks like a rip off.

The location had a terrible odor that gave me a headache just being inside, and in my reservation, I reserved an Appliance dolly that was not available when I arrived so I had to go to another Uhaul location to pick up the dolly which meant I had to make two extra trips I had not anticipated and added to the mileage charges. In addition, the truck was dirty, had not been swept out before I rented it, and there was a large oily spill on the front seat I had to clean up before I could use the truck. I will look elsewhere the next time I need to rent a truck. UHaul has been less than adequate the last few times I have used and I have been giving it another try. Not going forward.

Clean the vehicle. Provide a full tank of gas. Know your trucks. I was told that the 15’ truck does not have a ramp. Yes, it does. Don’t charge a $50 fee for changing reservation to a smaller truck, especially when it’s the same pick-up day and time. Total scam. I called U-Haul corporate and was told that there’s no $50 charge for changing or canceling a reservation. Not relevant to the truck rental, but people who have allergies to scents should never set foot in this store. I didn’t even last a split second before choking on the smell of cologne and running out the door. My assistant had to do the paperwork for me, and then we had to drive with the windows open because the scent was on him, and I couldn’t breathe. There is absolutely nothing about this store that would make me recommend it to anyone. I will never go back.

The van was not well maintained. The blinker was not working which is a dangerous thing for the operator and passenger. Lastly, the van had an awful odor and the cleanliness was unacceptable. There were flies and it had a terrible smell making our experience unpleasant.

The location is basically a convenience store with a questionable clientele. The service was excellent, but the location was generally shocking.

So, I contracted the service with doly and the device did not come, I only found out when I arrived at the moving site, also the car's tank was not full, it was less than half full, and I only used 20 miles, and apparently I was charged more $50 bucks for that, IMPROPER because $50 and more than a full tank. sad experience

Waited for a prolonged period of time for a locksmith, who called me an advised that his car broke down and I had to wait for another locksmith to be dispatched...when they finally got to me, they advised that the key had a defect which caused the lockdown. I was not able to get to my location, which was a closing party for selling a property after 29 years ... that I was hosting. All my guests needed to leave prior to my arrival...Therefore a complete waste of time and $$$. The agent advised me that UHaul was going to refund my expenses for this rental...!!! I have not heard form UHaul regarding this !!! My U Haul assistance File Number was 2660719...
