The place was okay. It felt a bit weird to park in front of the place rather than inside the drive towards the back. My reservation also did not include a dolly.

Valencia auto was good. My issue is Uhaul - I had a reservation at a different location and the van never showed up. There should have been a way for Uhaul to notify if there is an issue so that I don't waste my time.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the U-Haul location at 735 W Front St. I arrived at this location around 5:40 PM yesterday to return the van I had rented, only to find that the office and the return parking lot were already closed. I called the U-Haul customer service number at 800-468-4285 to inquire about the after-hours return process since I had not downloaded the U-Haul app. I was transferred to the 24/7. The first female representative I spoke with was very polite and helpful. She informed me that I could return the vehicle using uhaul.com/return. However, when I attempted this, the page did not prompt me to take photos. She advised me to drive to a U-Haul Moving & Storage location about ten minutes away, where the staff would assist me with the check-in, and the van would be driven back to 735 W Front St the following day. Following her instructions, I drove to the new location and called 800-468-4285 again. This time, I was connected to a male representative whose attitude was extremely poor. He constantly interrupted me, seemed very impatient, and refused to listen to my issues fully. He threatened me with fines exceeding a thousand dollars if I didn't return the van to the original location and rudely dismissed the advice given by the previous representative. He then hung up on me. Left with no choice, I drove back to 735 W Front St and called the customer service number once more. A female representative named Victoria Lyles answered this time. She was very understanding and gave me her email address, asking me to send her photos of the fuel gauge and odometer. Despite my slow internet connection, she patiently waited, but our call was disconnected before I could send the photos. I called again, and another female representative, Latoya Thompson, answered. She reassured me that I did not need to contact Victoria Lyles and that she could handle the issue. However, when I tried to email her the photos, I received a delivery failure message. Latoya kindly noted my situation and told me I could leave the keys in the drop box. This entire process took me until around 8 PM, causing significant inconvenience and additional mileage. The experience was highly unsatisfactory due to the poor handling by some representatives and the extra effort and time required. I hope that U-Haul can address these issues and improve the customer service process to prevent such frustrating experiences in the future.

Website for returning is absolutely terrible. Several error messages after uploading pictures, then kicks you out and you need to start the process all over again. This almost caused our time frame to go over. Very frustrating.

I would recommend this place but unfortunately would recommend uhaul to anyone. The pick after hour was a horrible experience. Your company needs to get more organized and verify ahead of time to make the verification at site smooth. Calling an employer or a person at 02am is not a reasonable expectation.

There is only one person when can assist with the U-Haul rentals within the location and he was not there at the time of pick up. If you do not complete the entire checkin before pick up time you may face this issue because that same person is also one of few who speak English as well.

There is no where to park a rerun after hours except for the street. I don’t recommend this place as a drop off place. It should only be used during business hours. The area was poorly lit and I felt unsafe. It was very dark a and dirty area. They have tons of garages where you can’t park a car. Very poor drop off location

I paid 36.86 cash for the little bit of gas and going over 12 miles but the problem is uhale also chard card on file 36.86.I was soposta get 25 for sweeping truck and cleaning it and a 100 dollar deposit refunded and I did not.Now this is not the drop of place issue it's a UHale issue.If UHale could plz put the 36.86 back on card and my refund of 125 that wood be great I was counting on that when I arrived.thank you christine okunak

Truly unreal what I went through yesterday my wife and I had already paid for furniture pads and a mattress protector and were to pick them up there. Not only did they say they didn’t have the protector but tried to charge us for the furniture pads we purchased!!!! So we had no choice but to return them. So we did and now we have to call Uhaul to dispute the charges and get a refund.

I’m being charged twice!! $175 and a few days later $161!!! This is unacceptable! I rented the 10 foot truck for 8 hrs and brought it back 2 hrs before my time was up with a full tank of gas and no mess nor damages and I’m being double charged!! This is unacceptable! Fix this immediately please!

My remote access pickup was scheduled for 7pm at Valencia Auto Shop; upon arrival @ 6:45pm the gates to the yard were padlocked. Over 90 minutes of frustrating hold time and dealings with 5 different operators (2 of whom asked me what my phone # was and then immediately put me on hold, a 3rd who said she was in PA and couldn't help) did not resolve the problem. UHAUL needs to know which vendors have after hours pick up and which do not!

Would like to have a place to leave my vehicle,other than parked on the busy street. Otherwise, location was great. The individual who helped me went above and beyond. He started up the vehicle and drove it around the front to where I parked my car. Very nice!

We always had a good experience with U - haul but unfortunately, this time we didn't have good luck. We rented a truck to travel from nj to Florida and this truck had no air conditioning, we traveled dehydrated for over 20 hours with hot air. As a customers We're very disappointed.

Confusing that there’s three different Uhaul locations all within a mile of each other........ this one was behind an auto repair which didn’t make sense. One of the technicians actually backed my car in to remove my hitch. That was very helpful!

The office worker clearly did not understand the online express check in process. When I attempted to get the keys, he told me I didn’t have a reservation and argued with me that I needed to show my license, pay, and sign a contract despite the fact that I had already done that through the app and shows him the check-in screen.

I ordered and paid for 4 dozen furniture pads, which I was told in my confirmation email were guaranteed, but there weren't enough pads available. I was unable to get a refund for the ones not included and I was told to just contact customer service. They didn't seem to know how many I had ordered. Also the fuel tank was extremely low, I had a warning sign saying only 32 miles were left when I turned the engine on. I was warned that it was low but I didn't realize quite how low.

Pick up location was awful guy had no idea what he was doing, i got a phone call to drop the truck off somewhere different then where I picked to drop it off, had to call back and complain then it got switched to the location I chose. Just an all around terrible experience

There was nothing with the personnel here -- they were fine. It is the U-Haul traffic department which is a miserable failure and the reason I am unlikely to ever rent with U-Haul again. I will be writing to customer service separately. Both my requested pick up locations were changed by U-Haul at the last moment and with tremendous inconvenience to me, resulting in my having to walk over mile through a gang infested neighborhood.

When we were finally given a drop off location, it was by someone at the pickup location who had no familiarity with the drop off. She said that all locations have safe places to put the car and mailboxes to drop keys in, whether or not the location is open or closed. We dropped off the truck at 5:15pm, and the location was closed and gated. There was no mailbox or slot for keys that we could find. We had to call the regional field agent who, after having us look for some time for a mailbox, ended up telling us to park the truck in the driveway outside the gate (basically on the street), put the keys under the seat and leave the doors unlocked. He promised us that if the car was damaged or stolen in the morning, we would not be faulted, but we still weren't comfortable with the situation. All together, this whole rental process had problems every step of the way. Communication was poor between various uhaul agents and locations, and it added a ton of stress and wasted time to an already stressful moving day. We will not use uhaul again.
