Excellent service, friendly staff
George RTwo problems I encountered: (1) After I picked up the 10' U-Haul truck, I received a text message that showed a link for me to report the condition of the truck. That link did not lead to your webpage for reporting the truck's condition. I even called your 800 telephone number. The representative did not help me to report the truck's condition. She assured me that U-Haul would take care of that renter reporting problem. Because of this, I didn't notice and report a wrong info on the contract sheet: I noticed that the fuel gauge showed 5/8 tank full -- while the contract sheet showed a full tank. I thought of reporting the discrepancy immediately. But I didn't, because I trusted U-Haul to believe my noticing the 5/8 -full tank gauge. (2) When I returned the truck, I told the representative about this fuel gauge reporting error. He told me not to worry and I would not be charged for the discrepancy. By the way, I drove the truck for only 8 miles, and I added fuel (1.026 gallons). After I left the office, I noticed the receipt showed a $11.00 fuel charge. Please refund the $11.00 fuel charge. BING WPlease train your employee a bit more. The employee who assisted me was good and he was trying his best to assist me. However, he was not so familiar with the rental service so he took a quiet some time to process my rental request.
SHI HService was non existent past here are your keys see you later. Truck was dirty inside the cab and inside the back of the truck. Gas was on an eighth of a tank. Rather low and pretty hard to return it back on an eighth. Agent seemed bothered I was there to rent it. And when I returned it the agent didn’t want to go over the gas, mileage, cleanliness of the truck, condition, and just said she’d email me if there were any conflicts. I won’t rent from here again.

Carpretta HOne employee was ok in terms of customer service. The other, older employee just scowled at me, didn't say a word, not nice at all. Neither one did any personal check of the vehicle, other than look at me driving it into their lot.
Kirt BThe van I got was very dirty and the gas was less than half tank but my email receipt was indicating more than half tank gas. I was charged for gas even though the gas wasn’t the same level as they indicated.

VictoireYannick NThis was a walk in with no reservation because the site we had a reservation at was closed and a note stating they were not renting trucks was on the window. Dillon was amazing and got us back on the road quickly. Such a great experience after a such a horrible time with moving assistance and rental reservations through Uhaul earlier in the day.

David VI filled the gas on the vehicle between 3/8-1/2 tank which is above the requirements of 1/4! When I got the invoice it said I filled it between 1/8-1/4. So I was charged $40 of service charge! I wish the attendant would of came out and check the vehicle with me when I dropped it off so there would be no disputes!

Navis PWe actually had scheduled the U-haul from a different location online however it appears the system had an error. While it was not a big deal for us we recommend updating your listings to make sure they are for the correct location as this would make many people very frustrated.

fern cI give a 1 star poor rating to UHaul E-Alert system. I had a confirm rental and on-line check in all ready. Only to find out at UHaul office that I was put on E-Alert for a late rental return about a year ago and would not be eligible to rent UHaul. First of all, I never received any notification that my last rental was late return. I was never asked to pay for late return. In fact, I returned the truck the night before it was due. Office was closed and I placed the key and paperwork through the door slot. Whoever was in office next morning failed to check-in my returned truck promptly and caused late return E-Alert on me. UHaul must contact customer immediately if there was any issue with returned equipment and must not have customer to find out E-Alert a year later in rental office. Please let me know this comment is reviewed and addressed. Matthew Ma

EDIZEN MIssue I had was when I reserved truck I was called day before and told they couldn't supply truck I wanted and also couldn't get truck for 1 way from the location I reserved it at. When I picked up alternate truck at totally different location they did not have hand truck listed as per reservation. Fortunately they did have one but when people are moving the reservation process needs to be better. It caused a lot of unneeded stress. Thankfully it worked out in the end but I had to get a area supervisor involved to get the rental in place
ROLAND KI ordered a dolly with my purchase of the uhaul truck and it wasnt in there when i took it home. Went all the way back to the location of pickup and asked him for a dolly and he said that they dont carry dollys they only rent uhauls. Didnt offer to call customer service for me or anything. Just said youll need to take it up with uhaul. He was so rude and was no help at all. And i have still yet to recieve my refund for the dolly.

Susan TThey charged me $25.00 plus tax for cleaning the van when all I did was pick up a sofa. I spoke with the Assistant Manager and was advised that the charge would be removed but it wasn't. I had to contact my credit card company to have the charge removed.

When I returned the van I was told I would not be able to do that

THOMAS HShane was very polite, helpful, and professional. He's a real credit to your business. The truck was fine, except when I stopped to fill up before returning it, the gas went in the ground. upon further inspection, Shane discovered someone had tried to steal gas from the truck by cutting the line between the opening for gas and the tank.
