Carlos RI originally rented a 10 ft truck at a location near me. The truck was there, but not set up for "mobile pickup". I spent a lot of time and aggravation finding another truck to rent. This is the second time a truck was not ready/available after I reserved days in advance. I rented a van the week before and had many headaches. Moving is very stressful. You hire people to help you, pay them by the hour, and then the equipment isn't ready. Please do better!

Dery DApp is garbage. I got to the location 15 minutes before pick up and it froze so much that I didn’t leave until 40 minutes after the time I was supposed to so I had to extend the rental. Definitely going with hope depot next time.

robert pI had reserved sti pickup the truck in my town. After making reservation the pickup location had been changed by U-Haul to a location roughly 15 miles from where I had initially reserved. It is not fair for the renter to be charged mileage from pickup location and back to pickup location.. a total of roughly 30 miles for me.. when the reservation initially made at my local area would would have only been 1 mile round trip. In other words I had to pay nearly $40 in mileage because of pickup and drop off location being outside of the original reservation.

Navin HThis rental, however, was a disaster. My original location was at 379 Quaker Church Rd. I got the confirmation. I walked 2 miles there in the freezing cold. I go to check in and I get a message that my equipment was not there. I called the number it gave me. The woman said that the van I rented was not there. I was, however, STARING AT THE VAN. IT WAS SITTING THERE. She then said that this location did not have mobile pick up. I had to talk to the person inside. Only issue was that THERE WAS NOBODY INSIDE!.She tells me that I have to go to a differentl location. So I have to walk back home in the freezing cold, get a ride, and go to the new location. My question is how do I book a van, pick a location, get a confirmation, go to the location, see the van, AND NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS IT? How does your booking system allow that? Shouldn't it know to not let someone book a rental on a day the freaking place is closed? Shouldn't it know that when it sends an email to "start pickup now" that the location doesn't have mobile pickup? I have a truck reserved in April for a move from NJ to Florida. I am so disgusted by this experience that I am looking at other options. The woman on the phone who helped me was very nice, but when I asked her the questions above, the response was "I have no idea'. That response is unacceptable. I truly hope someone there realizes that people's time is important and does something about this so nobody else has to go through what I did.
Brian KThe brake lights and turn signals on the trailer I rented did not work. When I picked them up the employee at the location checked the lights, saw they did not work, and told me that they typically start working after you are moving, and that if I wanted another trailer I would have to go to another location far away. They never started working.

James kholiday hours were restrictive but when I called they said i could drop off any time. The rental agreement shoudl explain all of that rather than learn as you go. parking lot could b larger, I partially parked on the grass

Frank VWas unable to attach my clips to anything in the back of the truck. Felt as if the truck was stalling a few times while driving. No loading ramp, made it very difficult loading the heavier items onto the truck.

Jeffrey PI ended up at Valley View Rentals because my pickup experience at the Denville Exxon on rt 10 in Denville was a disaster. Had checked in the night before and the truck was there but the rep didn't know how to check me out. He tried calling the area rep but didn't a response during the 30 minutes I waited. Tried to use the truck share app, but it couldn't find the location. Ended up going to Valley View and woman helping me was great.
