I completed my trip and successfully returned the truck. Overall, it was a smooth and reliable experience. The 26-foot truck handled the long-distance drive well, and everything went according to plan. One small suggestion for improvement: It would be helpful if U-Haul upgraded their trucks to include automatic windows. It may seem minor, but during long trips—especially when driving alone—automatic windows would make quick stops or tolls much more convenient. Truck smelled like cigarettes. Gas gauge was marked at 1/2 on sheet but was one line less when I went to the truck. Should be a more accurate way to refill with fuel at the end of use. MPG should be listed so a renter can do the math and refill with the appropriate amount of fuel. Truck did the job.

steven rNext time make sure you have both the vehicle and trailer at the same location and don't make us drive back to pick the trailer up with a loaded down U-Haul truck. Then tell us you will take milage off but instead you didn't then our truck ended up not even fitting on the trailer so had to drive all the way back to drop it off for a refund which we still lost $50 out of it all because your website said our truck would fit. Then we return the truck and you want $76 dollars nope not paying especially after all the hell we went through and not getting milage taking off like we were told then y'all still end up running our card for $26 without authorization and when we call to talk to someone after all that we only get a $26 back worst experience ever!!!!
BRITTANIE CVery disappointed when I took truck back, they charged me 3 gallons for fuel. I had filled the truck a little bit over from the fuel gauge when I first got it. I did get my refund for 3 gallons.

Also, I used considerably less miles than anticipated and my final bill showed the adjustment (down) on my final bill. I was very happy to see they did that automatically. I've had to fight with other rental facilities over excess charges.
KEITH DGive people trucks, that's safe for the roads for driving.. missing, trim around front windshield. Windshield leaked very bad inside when raining. Front end shook like a leaf, had roadside. Come out to fix it and shook even worse. The license plate light didn't work back marker light didn't work.

BRANDON BThey were out of furniture pads and the app doesn't tell you that. It just adds it to your total. If you check your reservation again later then you'll see no furniture pads... But no explanation. So that's strange. And also frustrating that they didn't have the supplies but they are a smaller location and it was the last day of the month. It can be expected. The vehicle was ready and if you don't have a lot to move (small apartment half the amount of furniture two trips) I highly recommend the 9' cargo van. New ones are nice and convenient.

FREDERICK SAgent vaped the whole time. Drove equipment to the front then just handed me the key. No inspection whatsoever. Only had 1/3 tank of gas. The truck and the trailer were not swept clean. Then on way to destination the trailer came off the hitch. Sat for three hours waiting for help. Moving is stressful enough without added burdens. We were not happy with our experience. The last time we used U-Haul we also had a trailer disengagement.

SAMUEL AWent to multiple different locations, trying to get a dolly to tow my car. Both locations I was sent to had issues with the dolly didn’t end up using it. The whole transaction was a huge waste of time and money.
