Disappointed by 5 items: 1. truck had excessive steering wheel play (reported at drop off) 2. truck reeked of pipe smoke (hotels are able to deal with this) 3. upon arrival for 8am pick up, "closed" sign still on door, delaying my departure 4. agent needed to enter lots of information in spite of my pre-check-in and prepaid deposit, delaying my departure. 5. agent responded with a very high gas usage estimate that meant I put 80L of gas into the truck when it used less than 55L resulting in needless expense.

It was very dark when we dropped the trailer off and had a hard time finding it. A lighted sign visible from the road would have been very helpful.

I had no problem with the location Itself however I did have issues with the online check in process and had to call customer service for assistance. Once the representative was able to correct the problem the online check in was great.

I never received the texts with info so when I arrived the worker wasn't expecting me and wasn't really open. I was lucky he was there to process the paper work. When I went to return it the contract just said Exeter and to call an 888 number, the first time I called the person was of no help, so after trying to return the U-Haul to a confused minimart worker that doesn't have a U-Haul spot anymore, called back and was directed to a town ten minutes away to drop off. So it was a bit frustrating. Needing a 15ft truck when we just wanted a van was also obnoxious but that's more.our fault for the last minute booking.

My husband had to drive an hour and a half one way to pick up the Uhaul truck. We wasted 4 hours of our day (the day before moving). And we're only given 1 day notice of this change. The truck only had driving keys and not keys to actually lock the truck.

The drop off process involved a lot of photos. Good thing I have a lot of data on my plan. You should let people opt out of the pictures and reserve the final bill until the equipment is reviewed by your staff.

The only problem we had was that the guy who hooked up the trailer for me did not check to make sure it was secure. When we put the auto on the trailer it lifted right off the hitch. We are so lucky it did not come off while i was driving. I trusted him to make sure it was on secure and safe as i have never used that kind of trailer attachment before. He did not check to make sure it was secure before we left... Not a good thing! This could have been a major catastrophe

Once again I was disgusted with uhaul. I ordered a 26 ft truck to be picked up at the wingham location in early September. I called about my truck the day before only to be told there wasn't one. About 1 hour later I was told I had to drive to Hanover to pick up my truck which is 50 minutes away. The whole ordeal cost me over $300.00 to move 10 minutes away. UHAUL is a poorly managed business. Disgusting

As a returning customer I Would not recommend booking online or at all! So many mix ups, my rental was not at the place where online told me to go after booking, which is 30 mins drive from my residents, only to find out that there was no rental within 50 km, was booked 1.5 hrs away in a town that was not on my online booking! I was not told about this untill I got to Owen sound to pick my rental that they didn't have. No reimbursement at all, so my gas in my truck was waisted. Online stricky says after booking if the rental is not there I would be reimbursed $50 which I was told no too, because my rental was in Wingham and Not Owen sound. This was Not my fault but yours, and you had time to call me to confirm and or change but did not. I wish to speak to manager about this.

I would recommend this location to anyone. However U Haul sucks. Would never rent U Haul again. They ripped me up and would do nothing to fix it. This location was the only of 4 U Haul places I stopped at that tried to do anything. DO NOT USE U HAUL!!!!

I had requested upon booking and upon picking up the uhaul that we have the truck from Feb 27 to march 1. It was confirmed both times. We received a phone call at 9am on March 1 asking why we hadn't brought the truck back because someone was waiting for it. I told the man that I had been confirmed twice that we had it for 2 days not just one. He was rude and continued to ask if I was done with it and how soon would I have it back? I told him we would have it back in about two hours and he flat out told me that would not work. He was very unpleasant and rude and I would never take a truck back there or rent one from there in the future. I will note that the lady who dealt with the actual dropoff at this location was very friendly and told us that they had not called us and it must have been head office. We looked up their number and it matched the one that had called and harassed me. Regardless.... We had no concern with the lady at this location ... The man on the phone was horrendous to deal with. Absolute zero chance of me recommending ever.

We were ripped off for gas. Traveled 104 km all on highway driving. Filled the tank back up to 5/8 (where it was when we picked it up) and then billed an addition 62.00 for gas! Extremely disappointed and will tell others that we were cheated.

I am very disappointed in my experience. It was never made clear that I had to bring the truck back to Wingham, I was told 200 km was included at no charge, and now you have charged me for mileage. the guy that called me when i first booked was very rude and not very helpful.

Vern's was fantastic but the Uhaul office that decides the truck I get for my reservations was awful. My reservation from a month and a half before randomly changed from 9am to 5:30pm and I never received a phone call for the change. So if I didn't make the call to confirm for myself, then all my plans for the day with the movers and everything else would have been screwed. I then had to drive an hour out of my way to even get a truck. The uhaul customer service guy on the phone who was less then enthused with his job or caring about how much the company screwed up. Pick-up and drop off locations were great, customer service of U-Haul is beyond awful and I hope management see's this and cares.

we returned on a day that was was not open so never met anyone, we had a pickup so was able to get it returned without a problem, it had snowed quite a bit and was a lot of snow, but it was a very suitable place to return the trailer.
