I've always had good results with uhaul till this time. They got the money for the truck when I rented it. Brought it back clean and filled up on time and two weeks go by and they hit my card again for more than the original amount. Now it's like pulling teeth to get a responSe from someone. I was send three locations via text on where to return the truck . The truck rental was until June 26. I returned the truck on June 25 and was charged $25 . When I called to inquire why I was told I was charged for additional mileage and because I didn't complete online check in.. I was never informed about any online check in and I dropped the truck early and where I was told.. I would never recommend to anyone because they are not up front with you about anything and my card was debited additional money for no reason at.. Also to add insult to injury the customer service representative literally stated to me that they didn't have to disclose anything to me I should have read the contract.. Very dissatisfied. Expected to be able to get an appliance dolly as I reserved one online, but the location didn't have one. The gentleman who helped me was really friendly. I just think U-Haul needs to do a better job of setting expectations. I also am extremely upset that I did not get some kind of invoice or itemized receipt showing me what I paid for.Dustin M.
Not make a customer wait around for 10 minutes because the guy who does U-Haul wasn't there. Also, this was the 2nd 10 FT. U-haul I've rented over the last week, and in both, a warning light that looked to be for the engine was lit for both entire 150 mile round-trips. I find that really annoying.John M.

The U Haul trucks itself need to be properly kept up on service. For example like tires rotate and balance, oil changes, and etc. It was very hard to drive the truck because it is severely off balance and the brakes need to be done badly. Also check the ramp and latches regularly to make sure there are no problems because I had a very hard time with it.Ohter than that everything else was good.Kelli W.

The truck given to me for my rental sounded like it was in need of servicing, or some transmission fluid. It was revving up too high before it changed gears. My experience with the facility .... the person at the gas station didn't understand or speak English well, told me there was no appliance dolly that I had reserved, told me the keys were outside, etc. Didnt have great knowledge of what was needed. Polite, but not knowledgeable. I tried contacting Uhaul via email with no response, and via phone and sat on hold forever. When we asked the clerk at the gas station for a refund, she was able to reach someone else who said I had not completed my reservation, which I had completed the day before with images and estimated mileage given. He did his side of the reservation, told the girl about the appliance dolly that was still inside the store, and told her where to find the key, which was inside the store. I had stopped by their location the day before and was told to do the online pickup information for this very reason, so I could pickup earlier. I did that and still was delayed about 30 minutes. Not a great experience with the location or with UHAUL.Lynn G.

The representative was extremely helpful beyond his requirements to help resolve issues uhaul had given me. The truck originally smelled of incense but that quickly dissipated leaving the strong smell of urine and other strange odors. I literally had to spray air freshener about every 20 minutes just to tolerate it for a 2 1/2 hour drive. It was disgusting but I didn't have time to get it corrected. The truck leaked and it rained through the night off and on and during the drive. Some of my belongings got wet. Nothing was damaged that was expensive but it should not have gotten wet at all.Randy H.
My son said the guy receiving the trailer and truck was super friendly and thorough. Trucks were neatly arranged. He lent my son a broom to sweep our truck out. I will definitely go back there if I need to rent again.nancy C.

The place I dropped the truck off the Lady wouldn't talk to me, I put gas in it and cleaned it. She then went outside the store that I was in and was working on the lock to her front door, it was awkward, to say the least. this took about 5 to 10 minutes. I tried several times to talk to this Lady however she never responded which made it really awkward.james david J.

Make it more noticeable as to when they change the location of the truck. The website said, on the day I was to get my truck, that the location was where I originally asked to pick it up. However, when I got there and they couldn't find my reservation, I downloaded the app, and from there it said my truck was 30 min away at a different location. TERRIBLE communicationChelsea C.

It was a convenience store/gas station that happened to have uhaul trucks. They were NO help. I had to switch pick up locations b/c my booked location didn't have the truck I ordered. Uhaul didn't adjust my mileage, even though I was now at least 13 miles away from my home. My drop off location was NO help; he talked to me via cell phone, couldn't access (or wouldn't) my agreement and told me I would have to call someone. Um, I thought he was the someone. Update system to show availability beyond 4 hours. I chose my unit for 10 hours and prior to finalizing my order I double checked my request. After I reserved the unit, the system automatically converted my request to 4 hours. Email confirmations do not show order details only tells you to log in. It was not until I went to pick up the vehicle that I found out the order did not reflect what I chose. I spoke with 3 reps. from U-haul who could not help and I had extremely long wait times between each conversation. Finally I was told if they extended the hours I would have to pay for 2 rentals. It all boils down to the fact that someone else already booked the vehicle for after my time and the system did not provide warning the vehicle would not be available after 4 hours. This was an inconvenience to my entire day.ShaTara M.
