There was a coffee spill in the cab that made the floor tacky. That was the only negative issue with the truck.

BARRON BI received a phone call a couple of weeks about an unrecognized charge and was told I was charged for the blankets and will be refunded after the blanket are returned. The blankets were returned within 1-2 hours after receiving the call. I still have yet to receive the refund.

Amie LWe have never really rented from uhaul before but the guy helping us 10/10. We arrived a bit early and he helped us right away, explained everything to us and made sure we didn't have any questions. Everything took about 20ish minutes to get done. We ended up only needing the uhaul for about 2 hours instead of 6 but when we returned it the guy was just as happy and helpful as when we picked it up. Absolutely going to be recommending this uhaul spot to anyone we know who needs one

I had to go buy a different hitch ball, wish they had ones for sale onsite as it took an extra hour. this is no reflection on the owner, but why doesn't UHAUL website list the drop off location I have in town in Sequim? then making me pay an extra fee for changing my drop off location seemed in really poor taste

Edward TYour online return system is not intuitive or easy to use. I didn't discover that I had not properly returned my rental until I logged in on a desktop at home. From my phone I thought that I was done. The link for check out should have a process to check back in from the same link, just a different button. I had to go back to properly check in my rental.

John GMy issues were with the company as a whole. Asking only about physical locations in this survey does nothing to address the problems I experienced. My reservation was changed 4 times(not by me) to include a pickup change that was a 4 hour drive difference from my needed location, changes in drop off location, and truck size. I had to correct changes made to my reservation WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR APPROVAL on a daily basis. Had I not looked each day, none of these changes would have been known by me until too late. Customer service called me once...JUST ONCE.... in the week prior, and the entire rental period combined! That occurred on return date only. I argued that they had changed my drop off location and that it was a problem. The agent was uncooperative and uncaring. When a lease is drawn for services, then stated conditions of that lease(ie locations, sizes, dates, times, etc) are stated within it, there should be no bullshit changes that cause the customer financial or emotional pain to be implemented without their knowledge AND CONSENT!!!! Never had a worse customer service in my life.
MITCHELL KI can’t understand why I didn’t get the 15 ft truck requesting it 4 weeks in advance. I was never asked what kind of dolly I wanted to use. I moved no appliances. That dolly was way too heavy for my boxes to get up the ramp.My destination in Vancouver Wa was wrong. Where I requested to return it was wrong. And last since a I was told U-Haul would offer me a bigger 20 ft truck since the 15 footers were checked out their should have a notice to me to watch out for trees below 11 ft. And that what I did I broke our friends limb. Only the day after did I realize about the potential for trouble when I happen to have read on the drivers side visor. And last the workers forgot to to leave the keys in the ignition. I waisted 15 minutes of valuable time to load the truck.
JOHN PLots of back and forth and passing to different contacts to correct invoice. I was charged a 2nd day of rental and associated fees (insurance and environmental fee) even though I only had the truck for <24 hours. We followed instructions to return the truck and place the key in drop box. It shouldn't take multiple calls to point out and correct a discrepancy on the invoice.

Mary MChris was amazing and went above and beyond throughout the whole transaction. My one suggestion would be to make your app. more user friendly. I spent an hour and a half trying to check my vehicle out. Chris became our hero when he opened 10 minutes early in order to help us. You should hire 100 more employees just lime him!

Austin KWe initially were scheduled for a pick up location in Richland. The day before, we were told to pick up the truck in Pasco. The Pasco office did not have the truck. The did not even apologize for all the waste time and even treated us that they did not care. They told us that we either accept new terms or cancel the reservation. As if you could just simply cancel all the processes related to a residential move up until that point. They dismissed us simply telling us to go now to Kennewick. We were lucky to have arrived to Vista Park storage. They were not ready to receive us, of course, with that short notice, but their service was kind and understanding. They also tried to solve the problems (that they did not cause) instead of looking for a person to blame.

JOHN P | Overall ExperienceThis was the 3rd drop off place we tried. The other 2 would not take the truck indicating it was too big. Not a pleasant experience.
KEN DIt was hard to tell if they were open. The uhaul website said they’re open at 9am. We arrived shortly after 9 to return the trailer and the door was locked. Around 9:10-9:15 someone came outside to help us. There was not a place to leave the trailer as everything is gated and a code is required.
Liz CI recently had a terrible experience with U-Haul that I feel compelled to share. When I picked up my rental, it had only 1/8 tank of gas. The manager at the location seemed surprised and confused, saying, "Oh, they are charging you for gas already. I've never seen that." He called another location or his manager, and I overheard the explanation: "It's actually a credit. They WILL get a credit for fuel IF they bring the truck back with 1/4 tank. If they bring it back on 1/8 (which is what it's rented out at), then NOTHING happens." Despite this, upon receiving the final receipt, we were CHARGED an extra $20. Additionally, we had to spend $35 on fuel to avoid a $6 per gallon refuel charge. In total, we were charged $55 for fuel, all because a multi-million dollar company can’t train their employees correctly. When I spoke to the regional manager for this U-Haul location, she told me I misunderstood and that it was explained in the contract. I explained it wasn't clearly explained, to which she agreed and admitted the neighborhood U-Haul location was new and needed retraining. So, if U-Haul staff can’t even understand such a ridiculous fuel policy, how should a customer? To make matters worse, she ended the conversation in a very passive-aggressive manner, telling me to "have a good day" before abruptly hanging up. This experience was infuriating and incredibly frustrating. U-Haul needs to address their staff training and clearly communicate their policies to avoid misleading customers. I will not be using U-Haul again and I strongly advise others to avoid this company. This kind of customer service is unacceptable.
Matthew PI moved out because my unit was broken into. Which happened because they changed management and the new manager had stopped locking the doors at night. He also told me they don’t have security cameras for each building. Ultimately, this storage place is unsafe and negligent.
