I have never left a review on something before because I know times are rough and I like to give companies the benefit but this experience was terrible. The person who had the keys was not on location and I had wait for them arrive which took away from my rental time. They also told me that i cant have the truck that it is reserved for someone else. I told them yes it is for me, I reserved it. He didn't apologize or acknowledge anything, just walked away and came back with keys The actual truck was dirty. I took pictures of it when i picked it up. The blue moving covers were thrown all over the truck and were wet. We didnt need them, but I prayed we didnt get charged for it. After loading and driving to my destination, I noticed the steering wheel is off, The brakes were bad, check engine light was on. My passenger advised that the passenger side door was loose and was afraid that he might fall out. Saturday was the only day I could move my large items due to work and i had no choice but to use this truck. Upon bringing it back again the person responsible for the uhaul wasn't at the location and I had to give the key to a "friend" who would take care of it. My family has used Uhaul alot and we never went thru anything like this. I have to rent a van this week and will use a authorized location, but if I receive service like this or a vehicle like this I will never use you guys again.Diana C.

I was SO disappointed in my rental experience. Not only did the truck's check engine light come on shortly after I began my move but I called the rental location to inform them of the matter and they simply saidâ€¦And I quoteâ€¦â€If it starts giving you trouble, call 1-800-GO-UHAUL and they'll bring you another truckâ€. WHAT?! Not only that but, once I opened the back of the truck, it was dirty. Dust EVERYWHERE To The point where I had to cover my items with linens as to not get them dirty. AND THE RAMPâ€¦OMGâ€¦when I pulled the ramp down to utilize for easier transport with the rented dolly, IT WAS MUDDY AND DISGUSTING!!! It looked like several piles of poop was thrown on it. Needless to say, I DID NOT use it. I have images of EVERYTHING if they need to be seen. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. My rental was over $200 and to get a truck as disgusting and faulty as that was TOTALLY unacceptable. If the rentals aren't up to standard, DON'T RENT THEM! Simple.BIANCA L.

This was by far the wirst experience ever with uhaul and customer service was just as worse. The truck i wanted wasnt at the other loaction having me to still pay for more mileage and everything. Then when I get to the facility on Victory Dr. It smelled just like cigarette smoke. The owner was rude and dry. When i had to put gas in the truck the gauge would not read causing me to put way more gas in the truck than needed. I was on a strict budget and went over it. When i called customer service noone helped and noone seemed to care.CHRISTINA D.

Retrain the guy on customer service because he is racist and feels he can talk any kind of way and call me boy while making demands and yelling. Also threatening to get me from ever being able to rent from uhaulIssiah B.
Drop off was easy, no complaints. Unlike our original pickup location in Brockton, MA. We reserved trk and transporter two weeks in advance, when we got there the manager George , said no transporter, when asked why, his reply was, not my problem. Very arrogant, not helpful at all. Had to call Amanda, in scheduling, to sort it all out. I would never go back to Brocton, if it was your last location in the US.Sindey S.
The main complaint about the location is that it was not near me. It is also impossible to turn left out of there so it adds mileage to the rental because you have to drive around to get to a turnaround spot.Andrew S.

Limited availability. Mud in bed of truck. Can had dirty floor. Unit could not be lock due to lock was in poor condition. A closer location to my residence had plenty of available trucks and we didn't find out until after we had rented. I had a 26' truck reserved. After being called and told the day before the rental I would have to go to a different location than the one I reserved I was not very happy. I arrived at that location at opening (10am I originally wanted 9am) I was informed they did not have the truck either. I was instructed to call customer service. Then after getting the run around I told them I would take a 20' truck. This location didn't have that either. So I had to go to another location again. I was finally taken care of at walts. However the overall experience was trash to say the least. Walts was great but uhaul, having me run around to three different locations and not having what I reserved weeks in advance leaves me not wanting to use the company anymore.Doug R.

The only problem I had with the drop of was the first location they sent me was further away then the second and they still charged me over mileage on both places so instead of being over 9 miles we over 10 miles either way the second drop off was way better then the first address they gave meApril R.

I like renting from the unhaul location on 10th Ave In Columbus. I originally placed my reservation at that location online, but apparently all of the reservations was taken. I was sent to Walt's Automotive on Victory Dr. And my overall experience wasn't good at all. If I ever need another unhaul in the future, I will never ever go back there.Lisa D.

U-Haul changed the rates from my previous use a few weeks prior. If you U-Haul is unable to receive equipment on a Sunday they should not charge the consumer more. I posted the same thing twice just to double my chances of you reading this.Daniel M.
