How about when someone books a uhaul in advance that it is actually available that day within a 25km proximity. And if it is not available then there should be at the bare minimum compensation for the gas and time and stress it is to go 1.5 hrs in the the complete opposite direction for both of your chosen locations. Having this very abrupt change 2 days before I was set to move left me completely without options and made for a very frustrating experience. The ONLY saving grace from my interaction with uhaul were the gentlemen assisting me at the pick up and drop off locations. Guarantee I will not be using uhaul again.Jennifer P.

It would have been awesome if the truck was actually in the location I booked it at. Receiving an email after midnight on the day I was supposed to pick it up was ridiculous, what a waste of a day, not to mention the location was over an hour away with a lot of massive hills to climb, therefore using lots of extra fuel. Truck desperately needs a wheel alignment, and to charge me 65 bucks for not putting enough gas in it upon returning it? Insanity. I left it above where it was when I got back to the location it was supposed to be at. Thanks a lot uhaul, never again..... soooooo not impressed at ALL!!!CAROL H.

The location was excellent for customer service and friendliness. Unfortunately, the truck I rented on September 8th for September 25th pick up was not available. I was phoned on September 22nd which caused me to have to rent a utility trailer with less capacity and no cover. So although the pick up location was excellent, U-haul was less than satisfactory!Norman H.
Uhaul on the phone messed this rental up TOTALLY! We were looking for a dolly in GP and were told by dealer in GP the only unit avail was Fairview -a 2hour return trip! To find what's due to come into GP in the next few days we were to call uhaul. Did that and they freaking booked this unit in Fairview! For â€œin townâ€ contract!! After SPECIFICALLY SAYING GP!!! An hour out to Fairview, an hour back to GP! 20 mins use and again, an hour back to Fairview to drop off, and an hour back to GP!! Thanks for fully f'n this one up! NEVER BOOKING U-HAUL AGAIN!!Pamela V.

I ended up having to drop this off on a day they were closed (Canada day) because that's when my rental was due back. After I called customer service and was assured they would contact me on the next business day. And the woman I spoke to made a note on the rental. You still have my 60$ deposit that was supposed to be refunded back to me. Unsurprisingly, no one contacted me.FARON C.

July 1 is a Canadian holiday and nothing is ever open. Perhaps explain this so the customer don't have to jump hoops and the business owner don't have to come in on a holiday to rent out vehicles..William D.

This was the second time that I had the run around form U-HAUL on pickup location - I was to pick this unit up in Grande Prairie and had to travel to Fairview - the additional of 115 khm and days did not really account for my loss time, my helpers waiting for the truck to arrive and travel experience to pick up the unit -don F.

Warren's Automotive staff in Fairview were very friendly. I rented the unit for Grande Prairie ended up having to pick up the unit almost an hour and a half north of GP. The unit was in relatively good condition although the driver side door was very loose to the point it felt like it would open on you at any point during the drive. It drove very smoothly, which was a plus. The light both low and high beams were very dim, very low visibilty while driving at night. No cruise control wasn't a hige deal as I was only driving to Edmonton. All in all the unit served its purpose very well.Sandor A.

I called I ask for a price ask for the total with taxes and everything I was told 450 ... before I even left yard cost me 6 something plus needed a deposit that I didnt get back plus I had to pay extra 16 dollars ... never again uhaul never again and I will tell everyone about my bad experience tooJoshlin S.

Nightmare at Grand Prairie.....no CAR HAULERS available.....computer would not process us at WARREN'S....it took 1 1/2 hours with tech support to get me registered.....Many helpful PEOPLE along the way to get my car moved.GUY G.
I find your company quite the joke. I understand that you cannot promise someone will bring their truck back on time, but you should be able to fulfil a clients order or completely stop taking reservations. I got a call three days before my move, â€œsorry the truck you won't we don't have, but we have a larger one that will be in Peace River. (6/7 hr round trip)â€ well you left me with no choice to take a smaller truck closer to me by hours, or a larger one even farther away. I was given 200 extra km, the lady was acting like that was an amazing deal. Well not when you have to drove farther than 200 extra km. What about my gas going there, and paying for TWO vechiles on the way back? Lady acted like she didn't even need to be on the phone any longer with me, take it or leave it. Well great customer service I had too. You leave customers with no choice. Calling them Days before. Now since I am only given 2 days with this rental, it was also agreed with a district manager that I would be given more time. Everyone who I dealt with over the phone, and everyone I dealt with in person had no clue what was going on, what each person said to me. The dealer in Fairview was rude. â€œI don't know, I just rent them outâ€ ok well that's for your help. Also when someone drives that long, you confirm a time a day ahead of time, and the guy ISNT THERE. Wow, so now I need to wait around longer for this guy. What a joke. He was very rude, his office lady was rude. â€œWell he has an appointment, he'll get here when he gets hereâ€ great customer service.... no clue how this company is still in business.Joanne B.

They charged my credit card $26.00 for a car wash. When I picked up the vehicle it was raining and the body was dirty, w/ shied full of bugs I actually had to stop and power wash the windshield at a car was. I have also returned it with 1/2 tank substantially more than $26.00 for a car was that I don't that I am responsible for, especially without calling me to authorize use of my credit card, not very happy as I have another reservation this week. Please process a refund on my M/Card for the supposed car washIlie C.
