The only thing I can think of would be to provide newer box trucks. The pickup I rented was essentially brand new with just over 5,000 miles on it; the 15' box truck had about 97,000 miles, but even though it had more experience it was in good condition.BRUCE J.

My service was beyond unacceptable. The company was unable to rent me the vehicle online due to the location being closed. Once I called the customer service line they were not able to help even though I had the reservation number and they had it in there system as well. The company had me wait 2 hours before they finally sent me to another location to be helped. They did not compensate me for my time even thoougghad movers waiting at my home being paid by the hour. The customer service was poor at best. I was very unhappy and would not recommend anyone this location or Uhual in general. They have lost a customer.LETAURIA P.

The call center sent me to a uhaul 50 miles away and I had to pay a taxi 60.00. When we arrived back with the uhaul truck there was a uhaul rental 1 mile from where we were with the same truck ( more than 1) which made me very frustrated. Other than that all was good.Annie A.
i reserrved at the locatioon next to airport. at the last minute I am told go to the other side of town. the uber cost me 30 dollars from airport and 70 dollars back from u haul to airport. i normally pay 16 dollars for the location next to airport. this was not fair to me. i did email Uber customer service with no replay.THOMAS B.

Are use the contactless drop off, which I found very helpful, however customers need to be informed that there is a Cox communication office nearby which interferes with downloading your website, customers need to be sure to turn off their Wi-Fi connection on their phone in order To be able to use that service, other than that I was satisfiedBrenda K.
I will never use online U-Haul again I was on hold for 30 minutes to reschedule my pick up time and then when I got to the location I had to call again because I could not start the online check-in process even though I turn my GPS on and download the app when I finally got a hold of someone on the customer hotline which was 30 minutes later they referred me to another person I was on hold there for 10 minutes and after that the online check-in process was resolved regardless I feel like the online process was a waste of my time and I would not recommend it to anybody the staff at the place I picked it up at are nothing but helpful but Uhaulâ€˜s online process needs some renovationsFrederic P.

Initially I had no complaints or problems. They were helpful and very pleasant. Then, I realized that I was not given the moving blankets I paid for. They had to credit the entire charge from my credit card and recharge the new amount. This maxed out my limit and left me on the road with no gas money or money for lodging. Then it was a fight between the business practices between uhaul and my credit card institution. A nightmare! Niether one cared and claimed they were only following protocol.Alesandra V.

Some one smoked in the pickup. Luckily I could drive with the windows down. Very efficient operation. I think that pickup needs a tuneup check after a hard drive on the I-10 for 100 miles. Stalled, run rough, and tranny was mis shifting a little.George L.

Got charged for miles we did not put on. No contact about our experience. Complete lack of concern for us. Truck was in bad shape and transmission was shot. Also got charged for the cleanup fee we were only being honest about it being.Ashley M.
Customer service is terrible!! Picking up the truck through the mobile app was a breeze. BUT once we returned the truck the customer service Tommy Armstrong didn't greet us just accused us of damaging the truck with scratches. My boyfriend and I explained to him that there was no way we damaged this truck because we haven't been anywhere with the truck like trees or tight spots to cause it. We picked it up Friday night and everything is how we picked it up. Two other customers were there are well, he friendly greeted them but we didn't even receive the same common courtesy. Ourselves we are African Americans and the other customers were Caucasian, so that felt very racial biased from our standpoint. Even with insurance we bought to cover any damages to the truck our integrity wouldn't allow us to damage the truck and deny it! A horrible customer service experience and I STRONGLY wont recommend this uhaul location to anyone! Nor will I look into any future services with Uhaul.Lambert B.

I enjoy using the mobile app to self check my rental. Its alot better then dealing with an agent. But at this location [agent] was very professional and willing to help, with out the sigh and "silent sound effects" u get from alot of the agents at uhaul. I believe he was the manager or supervisor, if not he should be. I was struggling to get my code right to get my key out of the locker. I went in and asked for help and he [ agent] came outside and assisted me and I was on my way. When I came back to return my truck again he saw me struggling with the app and what to do next and it was Storming, He came right out and again helped me. [ I wish I had his name] ðŸ¤™ðŸ¾ So thank you to him for his great customer serviceðŸŒº uhaul needs to find more employees like him. Because when your on the clock , its always customers first. The place I actually got the trailer from was great (Chief way). The place I scheduled my pick up at in West Pensacola was terrible. They changed my pick up location without informing me so I wasted the trip to their location and then waited 15 minutes to talk to the only rep in the facility. His attitude was horrible even before he told me I was at the wrong location even though 1) that's where I scheduled the pick up and 2) they had the equipment I needed. The guy was complete jerk. Didn't even give me the address of the location I had to go to after waiting to be told they changed it on me and didn't inform me. Can't repeat it enough, the guy that â€œhelped meâ€ was a jerk. He. The location and the actual people that provide the uhaul equipment claim to have no control over any of the billing glitches, errors, or inconveniences. For any customer service issues directly related to uhaul I was referred to an 800 # with extensive wait times, multiple transfers, and no results to address the problems. The people were each quite professional, but not allowed the power to actually do anything. Or they lied about what they could do and would do. If I do not see major changes I will not use or recommend uhaul again. And I will actively encourage others to be extremely cautious if considering uhaul for any services or products.
