I was surprised there was no built in or portable ramp with the 10' cube rental. For moving a refrigerator this would have been extremely helpful, and considerably safer.

One tire on Auto carrier was half flat and kept emptying even after being filled. Ratchets for holding from tires were rusty and badly needed some lubricant

All with renting the U-Haul went well. Getting a receipt was a longer process after returning it, cause the employee was struggling to figure how to print me a receipt. All in all it was a good experience.

I was charged for a Dolly and blankets even though I didn't ask for them nor were they with the equipment. The person could not figure out how to get them off of the bill

I was being assisted by someone who had to step over and ring people out in the middle of assisting me which wasted a lot more of my time than is acceptable. She did not assist me in hooking the Auto Transport up to my vehicle. I am not a large person so moving one of them by hand is not an easy feat. It took me several tries backing up to the AT, getting out of my truck going to look if I was close or not, getting back in, reattempting to match the ball to the AT before I as close enough that I could struggle with moving it over my hitch. This facility needs to meet minimum expectations when it comes to U-Haul, and with this rental they were not even in the ball park. There is no reason for a person who is being assisted to have the person renting to them to be made to wait because someone walks up and want to buy a pack of smokes, or a can of chew etc. Absolutely unacceptable. I was also advised I did not need to reserve a Tow Dolly which is what I wanted because there were two on hand just days before. When I called to make sure, both were gone. Yes, my truck was able to pull the AT, but with the car on it, it was a little more weight than I like considering I had to come down from 1100 feet pulling the loaded AT.

Gas was only at 7/8 so I had to return at that level and was not compensated for filling. It is really hard to judge how much gas to add and I am sure that you billed the prior customer for not filling. So you should either give it to me full or pay me for filling.

Make sure the trucks are cleaned for customers. We got our truck and it had some liquid spilt on the floor. We if course cleaned it before we returned it, other than that it was good

The reservation system is really meaningless. I was called 24 hours before and Informed that my type of equipment was no longer available at my location. I was then offered another piece of equipment Available at that same location for 2 to 3 times more. The other alternative was that I could drive more than an hour to pick up the original type of equipment that I needed. It was very disappointing to me to have to spend 2 to 3 hours just picking up the trailer, when I supposedly had a reservation. Not to mention, it probably cost me more than $10 in gas just to go pick up the trailer. In fact I called the local office a few days Prior to verify that the equipment was there. Furthermore, I was then called informed that I could not drop off the trailer at my original location. Hence my entire reservation was changed! Once again, this added about an hour more than I planned to my schedule. It really does seem like a U-Haul business model does not care about customers‘ time. My disappointment has nothing to do with the pick up or drop off locations. Both of those were fine and the staff was very professional with their customer service. The equipment was clean as well. My disappointment is in the reservation system and the overall U-Haul business model. This was my first time using U-Haul, I am unclear if I really want to go through that headache in the future.

I had NO IDEA what I was doing and the U-Haul employee was patient and hooked up the trailer for me and sold me the ball to accompany my hitch. I am grateful. Super Friendly.

I returned the truck 3/4 filled just the way I got it. I was off by 7/8 and you charge me $13.86. Plus they checked it on a hill. I think there is something wrong with your return policy on gas. Maybe if it was filled all the way I could of returned it filled and not be priced gouged over 7/8.

The father and son that helped me were great.Very helpful and courteous. I would say the only thing that would have improved this rental would have been to pick up the trailer near closing time and not pay for an extra days rent. Originally I was to pick it up at 8 the next morning, not near closing time the day before

It's a mini market with not much equipment. No one pre inspected unit before it left there property or came out to help hook it up. Had to drive 25 extra miles and go to Washington State to pick it up. I was not called by Uhual and told my reservation was not available in my area did not even try to offer a price discount.

Have trained people on site. I cant believe I had to hook up and also unhook the trailer I rented. I have never experienced this with uhaul before. Other customers renting trailers when I was there also could not believe they had to hook up the trailer themselves.

Unfortunately my experience with U-Haul most horrendous. I would never recommend anyone to rent from U-Haul in the Portland area. The equipment I needed was not available multiple times. U-Haul cancelled on me last minute. Customer service was the worst I've ever experienced in my life and that's an understatement. I had to drive 50 miles out of my way just to get the trailer. U-Haul was not willing to compensate for the travel time to pick up the trailer. I paid and signed a contract to pick up the trailer and Gresham Oregon not 25 miles one way. I was rudely told 2 take it or leave it if I didn't like the policy. Even though it was U-Hauls fault for not having the equipment on hand when the website said it was available in Gresham Oregon.

I had a 26' truck reserved for 4 days...I reserved with card a week or so in advance. Knowing that I had the reservation, u haul broke our contract and let someone else have my truck extra days. I had a crew of 5 ready to empty an office of all contents and only a 20 ' truck!! U haul did nothing to get me a 26. Screwed up my entire project fu uh!

When renting the truck, a mileage was entered, but never confirmed by the renter. My new home is just under 3 miles from my old home. I took two trips. That is no more than 12, but I was charged for 20. When I told the lady that wasn't possible, she had an attitude with me.

Nothing was prepared and the customer service agent had no idea how to rent out the equipment. He had to call in his supervisor. This took up way too much time. Separate of this site I called customer service to let them know of the situation and the customer service agents resolution was “eh it happens...” seriously going to look for another option over U-Haul... but I fear you have the market cornered... maybe I'll just buy my own damn trailer!

Lock the trucks at night. I found either a weed or crack pipe in one of the cup holders. I have a picture of you need more. Was really dissatisfied.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul. My reservation location was moved 4 different times and I ended up having to pick up my truck over an hour away in another state which caused me to have to pay a sales tax. Uhaul was not willing to give me more than a $10 discount for my inconvenience. This caused my move to start 2 hours late and caused us to not be able to use the movers we paid for. Uhaul seriously dropped the ball!!!! Very disappointing!

not much help there...not sure if it was because I rented a trailer rather than a vehicle. Wiring on the unit was sub-par, looked like it had been spliced multiple times...found out the lights were going in and out....was able to use it though
