What I did not appreciate. The cost of this rental was $200 at this location instead of the $55 it would have cost at the local distributor. The local distributor did not have the trailer I needed. Plus I would have had to haul it 5 hours one way. This would have added risk of getting a blowout and possible repair cost associated with trailer. Not to mention wear and tear on,u-hauls, own equipment. When I discusses this with the U-Haul employee, she indicated the difference in cost was because the U-haul in Columbus did not "need" or "utilize" this type of trailer. Whatever the reason, I did not appreciate the additional $150 cost.brad M.

The tire on trailer was missing half the tread. When my husband realized it was a tread issue not just poorly balanced tires we called the road assistance number. At that point he was in southern MO (Sikeston. MO). It was 2:30pm. I ask for a replacement trailer as he still had 600 miles to drive that day plus a full day the next. A replacement trailer. I also ask that he be allowed to go behind the Loves Truck Stop where he had stopped, this too was declined instead roadside assistance sent someone from Southern IL (over an hour away)-he arrived 45 minutes after initial expected time (now it's 4:55pm and the tire center behind Loves Truck Stop was closed). The â€œcontractedâ€ people who came to replace tire brought 2-used 14â€ rim passenger tires (not a trailer tire on a rim has the guy in Columbus rental place had told my husband would happen if any tire problems occurredâ€”I'm guessing he really knew there was a tire problem just didn't take the time to have it fixed on his â€œdimeâ€). It then took over an hour for the roadside assistance guys sent to find a trailer tire (likely at Wal-Mart in Sikestone). He was back on the road 4+ hours later. This then created a mess with planned stop for hotel that night as he only mad it to St Louis not southern Iowa.Kristi D.

Cargo area had to be swept out before we used it. Truck ride was rough! Beat me to death. Ordered more dolly's and furniture mover days ahead but only got one dolly and the pads. Havent used UHaul in a long time but was satisfied one I got used to what I got.Richard D.
The address listed on the Uhual website took me to the exact opposite side of town so when i found the correct location and drove to it, I had put an additional amount of mileage on the uhual that I got charged for despite the directions being incorrect.Austin V.

Original address provided to return the truck and equipment was 7293 HWY 45 N, Columbus, MS 39705 and number given was 662-570-1224. Address was a wooded area with no buildings. No one answered multiple calls to the number both Saturday and Sunday. Attempted to return the truck Saturday because finished move early. Location for return was not accurate, wooded lot only, and no answer to multiple calls to number provided for location on contract on Saturday or Sunday. Tried to contact Uhaul customer support and was left on hold for over 50 minutes then call was disconnected on your side. Took another phone call to uhaul customer service Sunday afternoon and to a local uhaul facility down the highway in order to get an update as to where we should drop off the truck. Experience was horrible and would like to speak with someone at corporate office about the error in location.JaNae C.

Nothing because walking in there you get good conversations and friendliness. The place is always clean and the way that Mr Watkins has it set up you see a little of history as well. I love every time I go in there. I don't go anywhere for a rental vehicle.Temekia L.

This was not my original pickup location, I was sent to a place that did not have any trucks and the gentleman at this location stepped up to help me. I reserved a truck for pickup in Starkville but was moved to columbus 35 minutes away, did not get the truck size I reserved so had to spend more on gas and wasted over an hour and a half trying to find a truck for me.Melissa E.

The device was awesome and the owners could not have been nicer, I had a wonderful experience. My only negative was the inside of the truck was nasty. It wasn't just a little dust or something common, the wheel and the gear shift was sticky and it has not been cleaned in a while.Kory B.

When I went to pick my truck up in Vernon Alabama. He didn't have my appliances dolly I ordered. I asked him to try and find me one. He didn't even try to find me one. He asked me if I still wanted the truck our not. That I could cancel the truck. So I went own and got the truck. This truck was muddie and nasty. And made noise in the rear-end. And it just had a half off tank in it. Own the paperwork it said full tank.. Always look at your paperwork. He had 2 perfectly clean trucks in the lot. This man had a do not care attitude problem!!! I had to run around and find me a dolly. With the gas prices as they are!!!Donna P.

The staff was friendly and very helpful when the app did not work for my check-in. They were expecting me and had the equipment ready, to include helping me hitch up to the A/T. The truck itself was showing it's age. Half pack of cigarettes and other garbage left behind from previous renters. Interior surfaces were a bit sticky. Windshield was dirty and held on by tape (maybe leftover from a windshield replacement). Ride for the truck was pretty harsh.Stephen P.
