I was to pick up the truck at location near our home but was notified that it had changed 20 miles away. There was no one there to answer any questions about the truck.NOT VERY HELPFUL.

Online it said it was open, but when I got there it had a sign on the door that they were working from home. I called the number and they said to leave the trailer there and they would check it in. I felt like someone should have checked out the trailer.
RANDALL RI didn't notice it at first, but one of the chains on this trailer is broken. I used my own.

Firstly they added on safe move which I declined, secondly when the transaction finally completed I was charged about $20 more than I should have been, they charged me for the original hold amount of $100 and my transaction invoice after completed was only $83.15. I have requested a refund and received no response

andrei gThis location was working 100% remotely. No control over who got which trailer. Customer before me picked up wrong trailer which made them have to redo my contract. Most communication was done via text. No paper copy of the contract. Flat tire on the trailer that I had to air up every 3-4 hours to keep from damaging the tire. I had to take it and get air before I could even begin my trip. My rental was discounted and SafeTrip was added at no charge. However, it wasn’t explained what that would do for me other than prioritize my roadside call if it was needed. Apologies were extended but if someone had been on site this all could’ve been fixed prior to my arrival. I had attempted to pick up early but couldn’t get anyone on the phone or to return a text until 15 minutes prior to my scheduled pickup time. Again no one was at the office to assist in facilitating an early pickup either.

I had to go to the business next door to get them to call for me. My pick up time was 3:00 and didn’t get it till after 4:00 and had to hook it up myself, he did not check the lights out are do anything to help me at all. Bob HU Haul representative should not send customers from other states to locations that are closed. Really need for corporate U Haul to work with Mom and Pop locations (ie A&J in Athens, TN) to ensure that customers do not drive 14 hours to closed locations. Then get diverted to another non-serviceable location (Decatur, TN), and then finally to one that CAN facilitate the rental.
Nicholas HI asked the lady when I made the reservation if the car hauler had a winch and she told me yes well when I got there the car hauler had no winch and it put me in a bind and she did tell me how to return it it took almost 2 hours for me to to get the U-Haul I was at the place at 10:00 and I didn't I didn't get it till like 12:00 or 1:00 so no I wouldn't recommend it to a friend I don't think I would use U-Haul again because I was deceived

Mark RDid not interact with this facility. They are only open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Had to return truck Sunday evening to catch a flight back Monday morning.
MICHAEL PNo one was at the location. They did everything by text message, which was a bit annoying. It made me feel as an inconvenience to them. Every other uhaul location has always hooked up the trailer, and ensured it was good to go. I didn't need assistance setting up, but i never even was offered any assistance either. I understand they might be scared of covid, but at least a face to face interaction would be nice.
