I was charged for a dolly that the truck didn't have. When I asked the man in charge of the office he told me I could remove the fee during the check out process, but that was false. Not happy about being charged for something I never got access to use.
Clifton GIt took about 20 minutes to check-in for the vehicle even though I did the mobile check-in. They didn't have the appliance dolly I reserved and didn't have any dollies at all. He also couldn't check and see if there was any in stock at any other location.

William WAfter hours dropoff, the location and key drop was easy to find but it's not entirely clear where UHaul trucks are supposed to be dropped off, luckily there was already another one there but it felt like we were taking up space in their limited customer parking lot. UHaul's website once again gave me trouble when trying to log my dropoff but the website could not use my phone's location (after it working that morning at the pickup location.) The website then instructs to take pictures but gave no detail about not needing any further action from me concerning my order, the UHaul customer service representative helped clear that up but it still felt like an unnecessary hiccup overall.
Cody HCab of the truck had paperwork laying around from the past two renters. Typical Uhaul truck. Though, the Uhaul app has not really worked for us and when talking to the associate they got us taken care of very quickly. Thanks.
THOMAS SThis was not my scheduled drop off location. But when my designated location would not accept my u-Haul they sent me to this location after dealing with u-Haul on the phone for over 30 minutes. This location was also closed on Sunday when I dropped off.

Ivy EI reserved and paid for a dolly for my needs. When I arrived I was told they didn’t have a dolly available. So I had to go and purchase the equipment which really set me back on time for my task. If no dolly was available, Don’t say so. The vehicle and service was great.
Stanley BThe lady treated me like I was an inconvenience. Throughout the entire experience it seemed like she wanted me out of there as quickly as possible. At one point she sent me a link to take photos of my drivers license; I finished it and sent it back, then waited while she checked her bank account. When I asked if there was anything left to do, she said “well you have to send it back to me,” implying she was waiting on me. It was rude and unprofessional. Unrelated to their customer service skills, they also have a large dog that roams the office. The smell inside the office is not great, if the dog didn’t bark at me as soon as I knocked on the door, it would still be obvious that a dog lived there.

John MThey said truck was full with gas it was only half full. We only drove 21 miles total and they charged us for 60. The truck was dirty on the inside we had to clean it out. They did not put the correct milege on the contract.
Lisa JWhen I reserved the 15' Truck online, after typing all of my information in, including the estimated 103 miles expected to be driven, the online quote showed an Estimated Tax of $3.72. When I went to pickup the truck the bill showed a "Rental Tax" of over $15. This is a significant increase and reeks of bait-and-switch type poor business practices where you quote one price and then, when the service is provided, the price goes up. If this tax had been accurately estimated on the online quote, it wouldn't have been so bad, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth and will definitely factor in to any future truck rental decision.

Monchel CAnother uhaul location let someone else take my rsvp because I was 40 minutes late due to my daughter getting in an accident. They said I needed to be there within 45 minutes which I was. They sent me to another location on other side of town which costed me an additional $15-20 in mileage plus fuel. My total round trip was supposed to be 9 miles. They said they would work with me but the location on Watterson trail said they couldn’t do anything about it. Honestly and integrity of doing the right thing is important to me. I’ll be looking at alternative companies on my next rental.

Joan WReserved a truck online. The U-Haul site stated the store opened at 8 AM for me to pick up my truck, but when I arrived there, the door said this location opened up at 9 AM. When I called the emergency # on the door and stated I was there to pick up my truck that I reserved online at 8 AM, He said nope,we don’t open until 9 AM. No apology, nothing! When I told him the online reservation said they opened up at 8 AM, He said yeah the online site makes mistakes all the time,we don’t open till 9 AM. Wasted trip and had to return home, and then go back up there at 9am!
STEPHANIE MTruck was dirty and despite 3/4 of a tank marked on the contract, it was easily under 5/8ths. I paid at least $20 extra in gas to drop off the vehicle at 3/4 of a tank. The older man who checked me in said he changed my reservation to "24/7" but didn't explain what that meant when my friend and I asked twice for clarification. He decided to check us in himself. We were patient with him checking us in, but at one point he used my driver's license to scratch his nostrils which is disgusting. Then the truck's "check engine" light was on. I called it in before loading and the first CS rep said I had to swap the truck out and if there's nothing available then roadside assistance would come out. I called the number she gave me twice and both CS reps forwarded me to another line without any direction on what to do. I ended up calling roadside assistance and after some questions they cleared me to keep the vehicle I had. Fortunately, online check-in was easy. By that point I was worried about fees related to the condition the truck was already in when I picked it up. It doesn't seem to have been an issue, though. We will definitely look into other options the next time we need a moving truck.

tia mThe agent there was not friendly and said we could return the truck to any Glasgow location. 10 minutes after I left the pickup location I got a TxT message that told me where to return the truck. That location cost me a few extra miles over the location I had planned to drop the truck at.

derek wI ordered a dolly, because I was moving from the third floor. Everything was verified and supposed to be in the truck when I picked it up. No one contacted me prior to pick up day to tell me the location did not have a dolly. It was not until I got there to pick the truck up that the gentleman said he didn't have one. I was very displeased.

She also doesn’t know how to give good instructions on when things should be returned and tries to charge your more when you’re going off of the information she gave you. Do not recommend going to this site at all!

Sayed GEven though I had mobile checke din I was still asked to go inside and she manually chnages my expected number ofmiles and contacts then the truck was disgustingly dirty, the dolly i reserved was not there and had to get a different appliance dolly which I could not use but still had to pay for, and on top of that during return had to manually inspect and provide pictures to her. The process overall was very poor, low quality, and lacked customer service. I could go on and am happy to provide photos. Just overall a huge letdown.
SAMANTHA SThe lady I dealt with today was very rude. I had to buy a gas gap for the truck because it didn’t have one, when I tried to explain to her the situation she was not listening so I went ahead and left. 20 mins later she called and left a voicemail for me to “turn around and come back” because I couldn’t drive it without a gas cap. To avoid having to do that (since she should’ve have dealt with it while I was asking her about it) I told her I found the cap, but really I had to buy one. Then, while driving back to return the truck ( I was a stop light away) she called to ask when I was bringing it back. I still had over ten minutes left before my return time at 3. She said the “next people were waiting for it”. I told her I would be back before my reservation ended and I hung up the phone. Overall she was just rude.

Mark SOwner did not give me copy of signed contract. I took a picture of it. I was charged for fuel even though truck was returned with more than I left with. I took pictures of dash before which matched the contract. I took picture of dash upon return. Called owner to get fuel charges reversed and she assured me she "doesn't screw" her customers and would fix the over charge. The charge came though uncorrected. Will not rent from this UHAUL location again. Truck was not cleaned out. Equipment contract from previous renter was still on the dashboard . Very poor experience.

SAMUEL SNever could get check in or checkout to work on safari even though location services were clearly on. Luckily I also have chrome on my phone so it worked. Overall, it was a successful day and the uhaul experience was great.
Melissa HOn-line reservation was easy but pick-up proved to be a bit challenging. The on-line approval took too long the day of pick-up and the line at pick-up site too long.

ROBERT HI've used Uhaul many times. This is my preferred location. Friendly staff and they had my equipment and on time.
Lisa PI went to the office on Saturday morning 8/28/21 to make a van reservation for Monday 8/30 at 9:15 AM. I received an email (email address rmac450@hotmail.com) for Truck Reservation # 82943965 We had to have my father's furniture moved in by 10:30 to a nursing home on Monday 8/30. I arrived on Monday morning at 9:15 only to find the door to the U-Haul office locked. I called two phone numbers posted on the door and was told they were short staffed. I went to the location at 10000 Bluegrass Parkway in Louisville to see if I could get a van there. I was told they had no reservation for me in the system. The one representative stated to me in front of other customers that with U-Haul, just because you made a reservation doesn't mean that you will get your reservation. The gentleman, Ralph that was in the 1808 Watterson Trail location when I made my initial reservation on 8/28 was at the 10000 Bluegrass Parkway location that Monday morning. Ralph said that he would meet me back over at 1808 Watterson Trail to get me a van. He remembered me from that Saturday morning when I placed the reservation in his office. I was then able to get the van, but it was almost an hour after I was supposed to originally pick up the van. The van gas gauge was a little below full, but as I was almost an hour behind, I did not go back in to the office to tell Ralph about it. I returned the van with a completely full tank. I did inform Ralph that it had not been completely full when I left their office with it. Before I left the office after completing the return of the van, Ralph asked me not to give a bad review. I would not rent from U-Haul again based upon my experience.
robert mI was not pleased that when we spoke to uhaul we.were quoted a price of 800.00 for a 12 ft truck, then when I called back to do it they sId they could only do almost 850.00 before taxes for a smaller truck and it was suppose to have a dolly which when we picked the truck up there was no dolly. They also told us to pick the truck at one location and when we got there it was closed and we had to call and found it we had to go to another location to pick it up. The truck ended up costing over 1000 dollars. This was totally criminal. I will never do business with uhaul if it was the only Truck rental company there was.
SHAWN MThe truck was dirty and smelled bad. I called to extend the truck, spoke to a man and told him I wouldn’t be able to return it until a day after original return date. He said okay. The next day a lady called me and said she didn’t know what I was talking about. A lot of miscommunication.
TRISHA Hthe Watterson Trail wasn't my first choice. I reserved my church at the Fern Creek location on Bardstown Rd which is closer to my house and to where I needed to drive the truck. When I arrived to pick up my reserved truck (that I scheduled) there was no truck. I was very frustrated, but the gentleman at the location found me a truck at the Watterson Trail location (again) MILES from where I needed to take the truck. Needless to say, I picked up the truck, used and returned it. Also, the UHAUL location on Bardstown Road in Buechel is about one of the saddest UHAUL locations that I've been to. That location is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS understaffed and the wait time is always one to two hours. Well, that's about all. Have a blessed day.
christina JThe lady who was running the office was late, if the office opens up at 9, you should be there before then. She caused a major inconvenience to my move, and we got to a late start. It also didn’t help that she was rude. I definitely will not use them again. I’ll just bite the bullet and come to the bigger U-haul instead of using a small business.
Danielle HI am being charged a cleaning fee due to the stupid drop off process. I turned the truck back in better condition than I received it. But in order to avoid a $20 fee I had to complete a survey. But I answered that the truck could use a cleaning before the next customer picks it up. Then they added a $25 cleaning fee. Which I immediately submitted that this was not because I made a mess, but that the tricky was dirty. Then 2 days later I got the receipt that still shows the $25. This needs to be fixed.

Mark MThe person who “helped” me wasn’t customer friendly, kept telling that they are an independent contractor company and if I had a problem with the services, I needed to complain with uhaul, not with her. When I went to the original location of rental that was stated in my email, they told me that my rental was like 5 miles away. The company should be more diligent with communicating the correct location, I lost time moving just because I was never informed of the right place of pickup.
Cesar CWorkers were RUDE! And absolutely no help. The truck was beaten up and the pictures listed to approve for damage were extremely out of date.
