I think this wrong destination needs to be reversed I already had to drive over a hundred miles out of my way to go get the truck then they wanted me to drive another 40 out of the way to return the truck somewhere else that's a bunch of crapCoby K.

After already completing all paperwork online and having confirmation. And registering on the website. And downloading the App and jumping through all the hoops their with photos, etc-- arrived at the pick-up site and sat in my car in the freezing cold for half an hour because the electronic process didn't work and the phone number connected me to a call center across the country that wasn't able to help. Finally banged on the door of the garage and found a person who, after another half hour, was able to get us a lock box code to get our truckJ Kevin M.
When I arrived the person working there wasn't sure of the status of the van and had to call someone to find out. He was very personable and tried his best, but it delayed my pickup even more after it was already delayed from a self-pick-up that was cancelled by U-Haul. I still had to go through the self-pickup process even though there was an attendant there. In addition, as part of the process he handed me his cell phone and asked that I to talk to the U-Haul representative on the phone with him. This made me very uncomfortable because due to concerns over COVID-19.PETER J.

I had a good experience dropping off, but it's been impossible to check in with them to see if I left something in the van. I've tried calling the number on the listing but no one answers and there's no way to leave a message. The 800 number for U-Haul had no better luck. Better location would help a lot. It was difficult to back out of the location and the driveway facing highway 20 was blocked when we picked the rental up and when we dropped it off. Someone at the location who knows about U-Haul would be useful. It took almost 1/2 hour just to figure out how to get the keys.Ken R.

Be clear on the charges. I thought I was told it would cost me $200 to unload my furniture. It took 3 hours to unload which could have easily been accomplished in two hours. The invoice came to $570 as it took them 3 hours to complete. Not happy about the amount. GabrielGabriel L.

Install video display for backing up truck; also video for front because it is hard to tell where the front actually is. My rental location had to call a remote location to book my rental; this was a pain. Otherwise, my rental location was OK.Ben H.

The team at this location were extremely helpful. They walked me thru reserving and checking out the equipment online and went out of their way to make sure everything was being done accurately and to my specific needs. They even gave up their office chair for me to sit in while I was figuring out the online process. Extremely nice too when I returned the equipment. I did mobile rental. Your system did not recognize my location despite multiple attempts. I tried first on my android phone and then on my iPhone. Location sharing settings were on. I ultimately got it to work with my wife's phone. You need to make it more reliable and fail safe. I would suggest a scanned bar code at the location or something like that in case location cannot be identified.Samer A.
I ended up at this location because the original location I MADE the RESERVATION at was not at all helpful. The second location where my reservation was transferred to provided NO HELP because at 4 pm they were "closed" for Uhaul. Really??? The best part of this experience was the ladies that help me via phone. ?They saved the day. If not for them this was a disaster. As for the location I ended up at, it was fine. No one was there when we went to pick up at Wax on Wax off Newport. Finally worker showed up, stuck in trafic. Called to get the key code and it arrived to me after I got the truck home, as employee got me the key, but no dolly which I paid for and want a refund as well as for truck I did not order. I have a confermation for a 15'. truck with dolly at 127.00 with tax, ended up with a 20' truck that was too big, only half full of gas, no dolly. I filled tank ($50.00) as not knowing how much gas I would use and only used a quater of a tank, want refund for what I did not use. no one went over anything with me. Want a refund for the dolly I did not get. Y Pay More has uhaulsw closer to my home that had plenty there and when I returned to town they were all still there. I ended up pay 2 cab bills as I had no where to leave my care, this is a joke and I am not happy at all and feel that I was taken advantage of. I told the person on the phone I am disabled and didn't want a uhaul I had to hike up into. Had to bring a step stool to get into. I have to rent another uhaul before the end of the month to finish moving and I expect a discount on that vehicle to make of for this mess, I have my confermation for a 15' not 20' and the dolly I already, but did not receive, dolly.mary E.

All arrangements were done over the phone due to this location not having personnel but that didn't matter. There were a few problems but they made sure I had a number to call with any problems and they straightened it all out on their end. Problems occur with computers but excellent customer service makes up for that. Thank you, I'll be back.Melanie M.

I had one of the worst retail transactions with the location and the Uhaul app is a failure. I arrived to pick up the truck for a single day in town move, the attendant said he had nothing going out. I referenced the uHaul app that I was prompted to download when reserving online. He said he didn't care what it said but offered to call his supervisor. I attempted to go through the app check in process however the app would loop back to take a picture of the back over and over. The supervisor helped the attendant with checkout. The fuel clearly was between 1/2 and 3/4 .... so 5/8 right? The attendant marked 3/4... I said no.. its 5/8 - he looked and said so what.. and asked me to initial the incorrect fuel.. why?? I circled 5/8 and took a photo to prove it later. I am happy to give you that photo! He also told me to park across the street and it was $5 for protection of my car... maybe he was joking? Did not seem like it .. very unfriendly. Upon returning the app failed to load photos again and locked up. I called 1800 uhaul and after 25 minutes on hold the car said she could not help with the app stuff.. I asked her to note the time I returned. I replaced the fuel from my 16 miles with 2.2 gallons and have the receipt. I also took a photo with the fuel and returned mileage and location of the truck. The following Monday the app showed rental to the 25th .. I returned before the agreed 6:15pm on day of rental ( I returned at 5:45 ). I was charged a $28 fuel charge as check in fuel was marked at 3/8. I have photo proof of my fuel replacement and took great care of your truck in my 16 mile rental. I will dispute the charges with my credit card and submit this to arbitration with supporting documentation. It seems like this location is a scam and shakedown. My story will be heard by many in this small town. Crazy .. please help!!!! Charles Scott 503-505-0975 I have attempted to resolve with Mr Tom Ross of Oregon area with no success. He explained I was only charged the one day .. thank you. However the $28 in fuel charge must be reversed... its theft as I will be happy to provide proof of refilling the fuel from my 16 Mile rental.Charles S.

I was injured because of no help unhooking the car hauling trailer. I was forced to crawl around underneath the car and back of truck to unhook un connect unchain unstrsp lift the hauling device push it back and figure out how to drive my car off the ramp without it comming off the rack with no real help. I'm disabled, said so and with a double hip replacement could not do this well so I was injured. I live in an assisted care facility with nursing help. This was just wrongMike W.

We sat in front of the place for entire hour for the guy to fix a single fuse. The A/C didnt work and we traveled across the entire country during hot weather. It's an automatic that didnt automatically shift, about every 30 minutes or so I had to manually shift because the Rpm were flying out the roof. Would never go again if I was around that area still.Allen P.
i rented the truck for 1 day i picked it up at closeing i thought as long as i returned after hours but before the second day opening it would be just one day but U haul felt the need to charge me for the second day. this left a bad tast with U haul i felt gouged. the phone app provided a cognitive test, similar to one that is used during a neuropsychological test for brain injured patients to measure precise cognitive impairment that ia suffered by a patient. I am familiar with it because I have had a brain injury. that little test prevented me from renting because it apparently thought that I was drunk. i took great offense to this as i haven't used alcohol or drugs since 1981. If you people cannot tell the differ ence between a 30 year poa t brain injured person and a drunk you should probably find a different way to determine that problem.Jontom K.

The online system is awful. I reserved a truck and two hand trucks, got a confirmation email then a couple days later got a new confirmation that it would be a larger truck than I reserved that would not fit into my new driveway. When I picked up the truck I was told they did not have an appliance dolly after all, sorry. Would never use this uhaul again, nice enough employees but so disorganized. People are counting on things, otherwise why take reservations?????Theresa H.
