The process of getting the keys and completing the registration process took 45 mins. It was ridiculously slow. Why don’t you get all the information you need from me when I placed the reservation?

I included in the rent of the truck a furniture dolly and pads. When I checked the truck I noticed they did not include them, I had to go into the office and ask them and they were not aware they needed to include the dolly and pads. It seems there was some miscommunication between the location and U-Ha and/or lack or training.

We need to be able to verify who the renters is before hand. Too much time is spent verifying personal information. Which can be done beforehand. That way when we get there we just confirm the status/location of

It’s got nothing to do with Weber, they were as helpful as they could be considering they had no idea of the procedure to pick up the truck ordered. They are merely a parking space for a third party broker who is not on site…Oscar. Well we called Oscar which was a circus and we finally got the truck, got it down to Florida within two days of renting it and the location Iscar gave us for drop off refused to take the truck saying it would cost $1000 a night to leave it there. We finally found a U Haul office 25 minutes away that processed the return in minutes with no issue. I assume U Haul uses third party brokers to reduce their costs and maximize their profits but the customer service from these 3rd party clowns reflects badly on the company. Based on this experience and the amount of money I paid for a two day move, I will avoid UHaul in the future.

When I reserved the rental I had a 2 day rental with 199 miles. Once I picked up the truck, the miles changed to 171 on the rental agreement. I was charged for 16 additional miles when I returned the truck

The couple there was very nice, but making the whole Uhaul pickup automated was a pain and confusing. This was also not where I had requested to pick up, I did not appreciate the added mileage added to my move, which means Uhaul gets more of my money.

My pick up experience was a disaster. I had booked my reservation the night before and was on my phone from 5:30-6:30 AM trying to get the code to release the truck. The location offered no help, the UHaulk website was not working, and it took me 3 diiferent customer service people to help me get it completed. Terrible. This should be so easy

My main complaint with U-Haul is your fuel tank policy. For customer convenience, all trucks should be rented with a full tank of fuel and returned with a full tank. This business of the tank having varying levels of fuel is a major inconvenience and unfair to customers. For example, the truck I picked up on Oct. 30 had very little gas, 17 miles to empty! So I had to stop on my way to my destination and add fuel. You offered me a fuel credit if I brought it back 1/4 full. Do you know how inconvenient it is to try to fill the tank to 1/4? You have to leave the ignition on so that the fuel gauge will be visible as it fills and then go back and forth between the fuel pump and the fuel gauge. If you miss the level you're trying to reach (easy to do), you end up paying for fuel you didn't use! Completely unfair! Every other truck or car rental company rents their vehicles with a full tank and requires you to return it with a full tank. So much more sensible and customer friendly!

Location is great, however, the online process can be improved. For example, at pick up the pictures for drivers license etc should be able to be entered prior to pickup to make the process more efficient. That way the renter can quickly do the remaining steps and be on their way. At drop off, it asked for a picture of the mileage and gas tank and then late it asked for more pictures of the truck. It would be better if all photo taking steps were done at once, possibly on the same page.

No idea this was completely remote pick up and needed everything done on the app prior to get the code for the lockbox In addition, the app seemed to disappear a couple of times so I had to restart what I was doing and eventually call both on the pickup and return to figure it all out .
