Charged me $90 extra for a quarter tank of gas. SCAM!!!

The store clerk that rented me the truck insured me that it could be dropped off at a location closer to my home. As I rented it 40 mins away from my home. It took over 35 mins to even check in and get the truck even though I did it online to save myself some time. Then as I go to return the truck by my home..I'm told this is a one way transit truck and I have to return it to the original location. I called the day before and the day of to fully explain what I was needing and the store clerk assured me yes ma'am yes we do this we do are positive we do this it's ok come we will give you a truck and you drop off anywhere you'd like. Twice I confirmed this. So I was left driving another 40 mins both way in 31 degree weather in a car with no AC with my 2 year old daughter and two teen sons with autism and had to pay the gas ..waste my own millage and time on my day off had to pay a friend to drive the truck aswell to return it. Then the store clerk upon arrival has the nerve to chage me for the extra millage and gas to return it. Nothing has been done to relive this issue. I'm beyond disappointed with the Esso wellandport uhaul . Like seriously get your shit together and learn the proper process of conducting business.

Re: equipment, the truck cab was muddy on the driver side floor. The cargo area floor was dirty in the front section with what seemed like wet soil. re: the location, it took a while for my order to appear on the location attendant's phone, which meant I had to wait a few minutes to get the keys for the truck. I'd still recommend the location since it's very handy to our community, the attendant was trying to help, and I'm willing to bet other U-Haul locations aren't much better.
