This facility advertised being open until 6 but was closed upon arrival at 5:30. As we were leaving we saw somebody drive in like the owner or a worker but instead of saying hold on or flagging us down he just turned around and went the opposite direction. This rental site was actually a general store and this person in the car had on like a general store attire so like a cowboy hat. So we knew he was supposed to be there but wasn't and then decided that he still wasn't going to be when he saw us waiting. We had to find another location and check availability quickly which was a hassle and burden. I WOULD NOT Recommend this place to anyone.Maronda R.

Truck had mismatched and worn rear tires with one going flat on the trip. I could not get ahold of U-Haul road side assistance and ended up having to deal with the flat repair myself at a commercial tire shop. Truck cab was very dirty at pick up.Al A.

Charged me for 2 gallons of gas. I drove 8 miles. 10ft uhaul get 12 miles to the gallon. Do that mathâ€¦ Inside of the cab had not been cleaned, dirt and debri throughout. First time with a so so experience at this location. Will probably utilize Auburn Way location in the future.CECILIA LYNNE B.

the nice fellow at the desk was very polite and answered all my questions and even had a nice chat about other things other than uhual trucks. the location was very clean and organized. may he continue to draw in many more customers and make them happy with whatever service they need.SEAN G.
I had a U-HAUL reservation set for 8/15. I showed up at 9:30 when they open and waited waited for over an hour, NOBODY SHOWED UP. This is my day off and I am moving into a new house, and I had people that came to help me move. I called the emergency number and nobody was picking up and the lady who I spoke with tried finding someone that could help, but nobody was answering. They units sent over a girl from a different location that did not have keys to open up, so she had to call a locksmith from Bellevue. So after the locksmith drilled the lock to let us in, she went to look for the keys and check on the truckâ€¦. NO IGNITION! And the the smaller truck had no keysâ€¦ I waisted almost two hours for no reason. I then had to schedule a Truck from a facility in Auburn. Because it was so late one of the people who said they could help, could no longer help, and I ended up having to pay an extra $20 for returning the Truck 30 minutes after hours.BRAYDEN B.

She was cold, called on my number for reference of which my realtor was shocked on why she would do that and the vehicle was dirty and empty as well as missing the furniture dolly. Worst? My appointment I set for the truck which was cleared through uhaul (of which I never have issues) was changed by them and telling me I'm going to get what I get.. They charged me 20 dollars for an overnight cost... really? Because my truck allowance was until midnight of which I had back by 8pm. I'll never use Uhaul again. For the money I paid and the hassle, ill just pay a moving company. Btw I left the truck with more gas when I found it... where is my refund?? Oh that's right.. fees only.PETE S.

The truck cargo area was very wet and I did not have time to dry it, but the point is that it shouldn't have been wet in the first place. The truck was not up front as I had been told it would be by another employee but was parked inside the fence in the storage unit area and we had to remove the sign in the windshield before driving it away. I had concerns about having to drive the truck over Snoqualmie Pass when their had bee reports of Chains Required and the Assistant Manager Savannah Forgey was very unhelpful and kept saying that they we not UHaul. I asked about the one month free storage, because I thought I would have to put my item in storage if the pass wasn't open or I needed chains and was again told that they are not UHaul and I would have to contact an actual UHaul facility. The only reason I did not rent from an actual UHaul facility was because of the availability of the truck I needed. If west Coast Self-Storage is responsible for renting out UHaul trucks, they need to have answers to questions and not keep repeating that they are not UHaul.MARY B.
Truck changed location and pick up time at the last minute so had to find new movers. Pick up was 15 miles away. I had 255 miles and 2 days and used 1 day and 205 miles and they charged me extra millage charged. Contacted corporate and they said too bad. Created an incident report and still waiting.... Don't use them!!! They don't keep there promises, nor their $50 online guarantee, overcharge and don't care!Crystal S.
The location was very busy and had a lot of people coming and going. There were people letting their small kids ride bikes and play around the cars/trucks. The person working there should have come out and told them not to let their kids play in the loading/unloading area. And when people were done, they should have moved their cars so others could use the loading area, instead they stood around socializing.Ranae G.
Overall, I had a great moving experience. It took me a while longer than you all guesstimated. Sorry for that. Sometimes ya just have to take your time so no one gets hurt. Which is what I did. And it worked out wonderfully. Side Note, the young helper named DJ out of Santa Clara U-haul, sat with me for about an hour, on the phone with you guys, until he secured me a truck rental, even went so far as to point the Uber over in my direction, the bringing me to pick up the truck, just before MTN view closed. He was too notch, gave me exceptional service, I am extremely greatful to him for his patience and attention to my situation. I thank him and U-haul, for coming thru in my time of need. The location was great to me. She normally opens at 9:30AM on Saturdays, but when I showed up at 8:00AM, she made sure to get me in the truck that I rented. Now, the national U-Haul scheduling was pretty terrible to me- saying that I had a U-Haul scheduled and then cancelling a day beforehand, and also scheduling my pickup time at 8AM when the location doesn't open until 9:30AM. Pretty terrible scheduling if I'm going to be honest.Matthew R.

The truck roof leaked and the brakes were so bad that the truck shook violently when I tried to slow down going down a hill. It was dangerous! Also, the check engine light was on when I picked up the truck and stayed on the entire time. Finally, I got the truck with 7/8s of a full tank and tried to fill it back up to that point, but the gauge wouldn't move up to that point until I had literally filled it completely up! I spent $28 worth of gas for a 43 mile trip! That's in addition to being charged 99 cents a mile! Ridiculous! The manager of the store was very nice, professional and sorry to hear about our situation, so I give her high marks. But your equipment was terrible.David K.

The availability of the truck was great, just not pleased by the charges. I had my rental extended 4 extra days, and had asked if it was just the daily $29 rate that was added each day of extension, but it was also the safe-move insurance, the furniture pads which increased it an extra $96. The customer service agent might have forgot about those charges, but it would have helped me make a better informed decision on extending the rental.Joshua B.
