The entire return process took over 45 minutes. The app would not accept the picture I kept trying to take of the Odometer and Gas Gague. Sat on hold for over 20 minutes and never got a live person. Tried to chat but was told there was a completely different phone number to call.. Sat on hold with that number. Tried multiples times to take picture,, tried my son taking picture and tried different phones. I will absolutely never use the 24/7 way of renting again.Derek G.

This review is not targeted at West Coast Uhaul, but at Uhaul itself. The online app is an absolute joke. It takes 30 minutes to work through it and is outrageous in the information it requires. If you have an account and rent often the app should self populate with the information on file. Your "after hours" pickup and return process is horrible...no stars at all. BTW, this review is not targeted at West Coast Uhaul, but at Uhaul itself.KARL D.
I scheduled a truck and the next day I got a call saying it wasn't available at that location and I had to pick up at another location further away. It would have been nice to not have to pay for the additional miles since it was U-Haul's error but staff said they wouldn't/couldn't credit the miles.COLLEEN Z.

The mobile pick up was awful for me. I got so flustered that I ended up leaving and not taking the truck. I received a call from the gentleman at the storage place. He asked if I still needed the truck. I told him I did but I was struggling with the online/ mobile pick up. He told me to come on in and he would help me. The gentleman who worked in the office at West Coast Self-Storage of Vancouver was amazing! He was so helpful and friendly. I will also try to pick up a U-Haul from this location, based on the customer service I recieved from him.Heather K.

West Coast Self Storage on 164th Ave is a very secure and well organized place to store your belongings. The manager Gary Johnson is very helpful and he runs a tight ship. This is a top notch business.JEFF B.

Only issue I had was I drove the truck 10 miles and had to fill the truck with gas and it cost me 20.00 @ 3.50 a gal the tank said it was full but it really wasn't.Jeffrey H.

Our rental period was from 1/14/2021 @ 6:30pm to 1/15/2021 @ 6:30pm. On 1/15/2021, the representative called us at about 12:30 pm, pressuring us, almost bully like-to return the truck before our 24 hour period was up. He said he needed it back by 5:30pm, because it needed to go out the next morning at 7am. I'm assuming this had something to do with his working hours and not wanting to have to either stay late to flip the truck for the next customer, or not wanting to come in early the next morning. Either way, it was pretty annoying to get this call and even more annoying that he didn't offer to compensate us for the rushed reservation. We ended up rushing our move and not getting the last few things, because we were trying to be kind. Not kind for the representative, but kind for the next customer, who I imagined it would be a huge inconvenience if they didn't get to move the next day. I don't appreciate bullies and I definitely don't appreciate poor business practices. We will not use or recommend this location again.Karen S.

For my rental, I asked for the furniture dolly. A utility dolly was left zip tied in the truck that I had to remove to get my couch against the wall. I did not ask for a utility dolly, but I did end up having to pay for one. Please don't put anything in the truck that was not requested, it defeats the entire purposeMichael F.

I rented a Cargo Van for two days and returned it after one day of using it. Gas was full and did not receive a pro-rated fee. I was charged $201.00 / 2-day rental and coverage + $24.00/miles I would like my money back for the day I didn't use the van.Ambrya H.

In addition to the truck I also rented a towing dolly, but I had to pick it up at a different location. This turned out to be a challenge. When I got there the dolly wasn't there. It took quite some time to figure this out as the "inventory system" showed the dolly in two different places. So I had to go to yet another location to pick up the dolly. So what should have been a 30 minute pickup and return to my place ended up taking 3 hours and instead of a 2 mile trip it turned into a 27 mile drive.roger A.
The truck was dirty inside the cabin and outside. In the times we live in the least Uhaul should is to maintain the cabin clean and disinfected. I had to clean the cabin myself.John R.
Great Customer Service at this location! Would use again. Only complaint is to make sure other people fill the gas all the way up in the truck I put about 8 gallons in it and only drove 25 miles so the person who rented it before cheated on refilling the tank.Scott H.
The only thing I was unhappy about is that we were only allowed to keep the truck for 8 hours and charged for 24 hour rental. I knew there was a reservation on the same day after we turned it in but I assumed there would be a price adjustment. Gary was a great associate and I've used him a couple times in the past. I just didn't know you had to pay for a full day when only renting for a third of the day which indicates to me that rent was received twice in a 24 hour period. Having been in property management that is unlawful but perhaps when it comes to trucks it's different. Either way, as usual a great experience, I have used uhaul over the past 50 years and always been satisfiedJAN SUE S.
