Didn't have anything available in the town or any town near where I needed a truck. When I called uhaul and asked if they had a way to help someone out on mileage they said â€œit's not our problemâ€. John in Columbus took care of me. Gave me a good rate and did what he could to help out. Went out of his way to help.Joshua V.
Numerous problems, not a good experience. Truck box where you put your stuff was filthy when I picked it up with dirt, grass, and mud and had NOT been cleaned after previous renter. I had to do it myself. Lock on back truck door did not work which meant I couldn't secure my stuff. Also, when I went to turn in because they had another rental scheduled, which I was warned absolutely I could NOT be late with it though I wasn't done with it, I waited 2.5 hours for someone to show up, only to find next renter then said he didn't want it. I lost a day's worth of time as I halted everything to get the truck back on time and was charged the full amount with no correction or compensation added for all I'd been through. The TPS was malfunctioning. Either new tires were put on or were not sync'd.Ethan F.
Communication with location prior to pickup so they know you are taking the U-Haul out of Columbus. We had a long delay as the man at Westbrook lanes told us his U-Haul were for local use so he had to call to get someone follow us to move out of town. The U-Haul was clean but didn't run very well. Barely made it up a hill and bounced with every bump in the road. Had a table and a lamp damaged from the trip to Hickman NE for Columbus.Linda F.

The man who helped us was very helpful, kind, and infomative. Renting the truck was a good experience. However, we would like the Uhaul website to tell us as we are processing the request that the location we originally signed up for does not have the size of truck we wanted. We received a call from regional Manager telling us we would have to go across town to get the truck. Bummer!! But the man at the new location was very nice to work with.Robert T.

The truck was not ready when I went to pick it up the previous renter didn't want to drive in the snow. It was still loaded and locked. I settled for a smaller truck and a trailer. It worked out.Marty K.

The trailer tongue is far too heavy for one person to lift and connect to a hitch without injuring themselves. Why can't your trailers have some sort of trailer jack to help with supporting some of that weight? Please consider doing something for the safety of your staff, your local shops staff that act as U-Haul locations, as well as your customers. I should not be concerned about unhooking if the need arises due to the weight of the tongue and no proper way to unhook while I'm renting your trailers. I've rented many times but I've always had someone to help me but this trip was just my small children and I. I will plan on using this location again for my uhaul services but would like a more user friendly jack to my trailer. Thanks.Michaela N.
