The attendant at the westmont inn In Lakeland Florida off of us -92 is the most unprofessional person I've dealt with in my entire life. Rude isn't the word to describe him he's so muxh worse than that.Jerome B.
Again this wasn't my original drop off location. I was scheduled to drop off at Grab n Go. When I got to Grab n Go the clerk wouldn't accept the truck. She said she "didn't have room." I spent over 30 minutes in the parking t on the phone with customer service ( scheduling). Regina in scheduling found another location and set up the return and extended my drop off time. The gentleman who checked the truck in, charged me for another day because the truck was "late." I tried to explain everything to him and all he could say was, "call customer service." The only reason why I gave this location an "average" rating is because the took the truck.Tina W.

I've rented vehicles from uhaul many many times over the years and this is by far the WORST experience I've had with picking up a rental vehicle!! Which includes the agents I spoke with on the phone!Janice L.

I rented a truck there was some sand in the back box when I returned it I was told I had to sweep it out or would be charged a cleaning fee , then I asked for a receipt showing no damage to vehicle when returned he just brushed me off and was rudedora G.

Terrible. They tried to overcharge us for not returning it supposedly on the gas line which it clearly was over the 5/8 line as it should have been. I even took a picture of it and showed it to him and he claimed that because my husband was a mechanic he knew how to fool the picture for our advantage. I was very upset with this accusation that we would try to fool them when we have history with renting uhaul trucks and we have never had this issue before.Evelyn H.

I was told that the general manager in Polk County, FL is forcing everyone to opt in to the $10 insurance for van and pick up trucks. I'm covered by my personal car insurance and the credit card I used to rent so I didn't need the extra insurance and I factored that in when I was shopping. They wouldn't rent to me without the insurance and I wasn't going to change my plans over $10 but I didn't appreciate being forced into it. Other than that, it was a good experience. When I rented the U-Haul from Park Boulevard I was told that I'd be dropping my key off in an overnight box. When I arrived at this location there was a man outside smoking a cigarette when I approached him he asked me for the keys to the U-Haul standing outside next to an apartment complex in no uniform after I told him I was not going to hand him the key because he was not in uniform and did not look like a U-Haul employee his attitude changed he was very rude threw his cigarette down yanked the door open went inside and opened the sliding door and stuck his hand out for the key this was the worst customer service that I had ever gotten I guess his cigarette was more important I will no longer be renting from U-Haul if this is the kind of employees that you have thank you for your time on this surveypatrick B.

Are you serious? I went out of the way to drop off the truck at this location which inside of this hotel the A/C was broken it was 100 degrees inside this location. This guy that helped us didn't speak English and he handed my husband a broom and told him to resweep the truck. The service guy thought the truck was dirty but it was stained from previous users. Very unprofessional. And told us that he would charge us $25.00 if we refused to sweep the truck. Maybe next time we'll use a different company.TAMMY M.

The location pickup location was changed three times. I called to confirm time at first location and was told they were not open at the date that I needed the truck. The man was extremely rude. I was set up for a second location. When I called to confirm I was given a third location where I was able to get the truck. This was about enough to convince me to never use or recommend U Haul again!robert C.

I had to have roadside assistance come out before I even left the Dealer to fix the rear door because it was stuck half open. I can't say this was anyone's fault, sometimes things happen. But I'm explaining why I answered "NO" to the question about equipment.Lawrence J.

I choose to return to a different location which is a lot more then the 19.95 rental plus miles... lady told me unlimited miles and I can return to a different location, but They failed to mention that I only get 30 miles before I have to pay per mile...which I later learned when I returned the truck and was charged extra.heather W.
The lady that we picked it up from was very rude, the truck was dirty, she was to busy on a personal phone call than to deal with us, she told us she wanted more gas in it than it had when she gave it to us, when we asked her why it couldnt come back with the same amount she just threw her hands in the hair and walked away from us, we had to go and get her to do a walk around with the truck because it had some dings in it that we wanted her to see so we didnt get blamed for it. We have dealt with uhaul before and never had a problem. I dont want to ever pick up from this location again.Billy C.
I would make sure that what the customer needs for their move especially if it is specifically told to the representative that he/she has it. This move was difficult without a dolley. The manager "John" was not concerned and simply left a uncaring message that its was a oneway we dont put dolleys in oneway. But my reservation I specifically asked for one. I dint want to talk with him anymore I will be contacting corporate. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS iI will not be using ISTORAGE AGAIN FOR TRUCKS.Chakeeta L.

This place scams you on gas fill level. I filled the truck back to the 3/4 tank line it was at when I picked it up but they still insisted on charging me for additional gas. The gentlemen that check me out was a complete ass!Mike L.
Received a text message to change dropoff location at the last minute. Attendant charged me for extra miles after text message changing drop off location was further away from the originally contracted location . Next time, I will not help Uhaul move it inventory without proper compensation.Patrick S.

The Indian lady who assisted me was rude and had a nasty attitude. I will never ever rent from this company and I will tell all my friends and family members about the treatment I received. She was disrespectful and loud mouth. All this because I took and extra day because I couldn't unloading my stuff in one day. I understand that I should call to let the company know about it. But I was so stressed, that only came into my mind, that the company would charged me for the extra day. But, I not only was charged but also treated as I was a delinquent.iris P.
